Hotel U Kocku  

We found the staff very friendly and plenty of choice at breakfast time. The room was cleaned well every day and the location is central to wenceles sq and astronomical clock.

The safe in our room was just loose so you could just pick it up. Only had 2 coat hangers.

The ambience, staff, and location were all fantastic.

No complaints!

The hotel is ok but definitely not a 4 star. Without air conditioning you have to open the window. However, when you open the window, you have to listen to all the drunk people scream all night.

Location was excellent, close to all of the major sites in the city, Everything was in walking distance. Employee's were very helpful and they were available 24 hours.

The location in the old city was excellent. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Charles Bridge and the Clock Tower. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful when we needed a hand making reservations, and always polite otherwise. We asked about connectivity and were given a cord to connect the computer in our room. There was a wide selection at the breakfast buffet and of decent quality. We asked for a quiet room and got one on the 6th floor that was quiet, even though on the side of the hotel where there were terrace restaurants. We were not there on the weekend so cannot speak to the noise level then.

The room was a bit stuffy; there are no screens on the windows, and as the mosquitoes came out at night we only opened them in the morning. Still, there was a fan that made the nights bearable. We were there in June. The bathroom was fine except for an automatic perfume dispenser that we couldn't turn off. The dining room could have been a little cleaner.

Great location a few steps only to the old platz.Convenient transport. Comfortable Room. Very friendly staff. 20% discount food and beverage which is excellent. Most enjoyable stay. We stayed three nights

not far from the charles bridge. and if you live in this hotel you can get discount in their own restaurant.

a little far from the metro station. and the road in prag is very hard to drag a luggage.

The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Old Town and Charles Bridge sites. It is also close (five blocks or so) to a Metro stop. There is an excellent vegetarian restaurant, Country Life, just blocks away. The hotel breakfast was very good.

Desk clerk was a little disinterested.

A bit noisy during the night, since it was in the middel of the Old Town.

the bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drains the other room which i booked for friends was at the front of the hotel and they found it very noisy .I would not class this hotel as a four star

Het hotel ligt midden in het oude centrum van Praag, een geweldige lokatie. Wij zaten in het oude gedeelte, heeft wel een verfje nodig en je hebt er geen lift. Maar dat maakt de ligging allemaal goed.

je kunt er niet met de auto komen, maar als die eenmaal in de parkeergarage staat heb je daar ook geen last meer van

Hotelli ei missään nimessä ansaitse neljää tähteä (joilla sitä mainostettiin, kun varasimme huoneen), mutta toisaalta hinta-laatusuhde oli kohdillaan. Huone oli tilava ja valoisa, vaikkakaan näkymät eivät henkeä salvanneet. Siivous tuli verrattaen myöhään: vasta klo 16-18 eli saatoimme olla hotellihuoneella käymässä vaihtamassa vaatteita illan rientoihin. Sijainti oli sinänsä erinomainen, että kaikkialle oli erittäin lyhyt matka ja kaikki oli lähellä. Mutta annoimme arvosanaksi hyvän, koska hotelli oli tosiaan keskellä pahinta turistiryysistä, mikä ei meitä henkilökohtaisesti sitten kuitenkaan miellyttänyt. Melua ei kuitenkaan huoneeseen kuulunut, vaikka sijainti olikin vanhassa kaupungissa.
