The hotel is in a good location; right on the old square, good jazz music in the bar during the evening, excellent roof top terrace. The attitude of bar and restaurant staff was very unpleasant, not at all friendly and everything seemed too much trouble for them. |

One of the best hotel you could expect to book in Prague...Don't miss the wonderful Jazz concert that start every night at 8 pm in the restaurant...as well as the spirkling wine welcome cocktail in the great terrace with the great view on the old clock tower...So romantic.... |

The U Prince is a delightful hotel in the most fantastic position in the Old Town Square. Location wise this is fantastic for getting around Prague and the setting, food and feel of the hotel is very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel very much to fellow travellers. |

Hotel really querky, with a great bar and live Jazz every evening. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location on the Old Town Square couldn't be better, with easy access to all of the best parts of Prague. Great place to stay. The room could have been a bit cleaner and we had one or two problems with the bathroom, which were fixed. Breakfast was OK but the layout of tables meant you had to squeeze around other guests to get to your table. Nothing major though and it wouldn't spoil your trip. |

The staff was ever attentive and extremely helpful and more importantly very nice! When they gave restaurant recommendations, they were always on target. One even found a fabulous"off the beaten path" marionette atelier for the kids to learn and watch how puppets are made! The owner of the hotel is lucky to have such nice staff working at the reception and assisting guests. Our room (216) is very close to the "musical night life" happening downstairs in the restaurant bar. So, if you have children or go to bed early- beware...it will be hard to get to sleep with all the noise... |

The staff is wonderfulI and most friendly. It´s located in the the heart of turistical Prague. You will not find a better location to stay. There´s an amazing restaurant at the top floor of the building where you find an unbelievable view of the city. The room was very good and beautifully furnished. Everything was great. However, I minor drawback was that the bathroom didn´t have a shower door, and I had to avoid watering the whole floor. |

Ambience and friendly staff North Americans are more used to shower curtain with bathtubs. We found it very hard to keep the bathroom dry and effectively wash our hair with the very narrow tub. Tubs without hand rails, especially as narrow as this one are hazardous to access for older people (I'm only 55). x |

Excellent location offering immediate access to everything around the Old Town. The building and decoration itself (first floor upwards) is very good - if not a tad over the top. Room was nice and quiet (5th floor), wifi fast and reliable. Certainly not a 5* hotel - then again, also cheaper than a true 5*. Breakfast was poor, terrace restaurant had a lovely view but a far from lovely cuisine. My room had no work desk, which did prove quite impractical. Staff was friendly, but far from efficient (e.g. late taking your order, forgetting to bring it, etc.). Quite frankly, the prime reason to choose U Prince is location - and given that there are dozens of alternatives within a 500 meter radius, I'm not sure it's worth it. |

Perfect location! Located literally within 50 walking steps away from the Atomic Clock and maybe 200 steps away from the Old castle. Restaurant had an excellent selection of culinary delicacies, and a fully-descriptive menu with photographs in 5 or 6 different languages. I found the price associated with parking your vehicle to be somewhat unreasonable. 25 Euros per day seems an awful lot just to park your vehicle on hotel's premises. A word to the wise... if traveling to Prague by car and intend to have a rather extended stay at this hotel, be sure to make parking arrangements as 25 euros daily could add up to be a significant expense, depending on the lenght of your stay. |

-- Staff, in general, was very friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is wonderful -- At breakfast, the server was unfriendly and it took 15 min. to get a coffee. I eventually went up to the bartender and asked for a coffee which never arrived. Finally the server, came and with a sour face, brought me a pot after I was finished with my meal. -- I ordered a taxi to takes us back to the Prague airport and was really disappointed that it cost nearly 2x (800 Krn vs. 500 Krn) what I paid with another service for my original transit from the airport to the hotel. Even though the car was nicer, it was not worth the additional price as it took exactly the same amount of time. |

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding, especially at the desk. The food and view from the terrace were the best we had on our entire trip to Eastern Europe. We even had fireworks behind the castle the first night we were there. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. We were in 2 different rooms during our stay and the air conditioners did not work in either room. Fortunately, it was cool enough outside in June to be able to sleep, but the days got really hot. I can't imagine how hot it would be in July and August. |
