Capital Apartments are right on Wenceslas Square, in the very heart of Prague. There is a 24-hour front desk, and all apartments have kitchenettes, free Wi-Fi and a washing machine.

Close to the very center of Prague, just a 5 minute walk from Wenceslas Square, the hotel is a good base for exploring this beautiful, historic city.
Score from 463 reviews Very good 8.2/10
Decent breakfast buffet, clean room for great price, hip-to-be neighborhood below the Vysehrad Castle, 10 min walk to the tram.
Slow, yet free, Wi-Fi connection.
Beautiful and still convenient (but not too touristy) location- absolutely wonderful staff and the bar/ restaurant is tasty and convenient. Would highly recommend to any friends and will stay here next time we are in Prague.
This was a little off the beaten path so was quiet. Breakfast included and it was substantial & good. Staff very friendly.
Metro was a bit of a walk.
The two levels room, position.
Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room with sitting area, good restaurant downstairs
Room was next to reception. Very noisy inside and outside. Restaurant staff was insisting on tipping. Not worth a 2nd stay.
+ Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, + near tram station ( tram takes less than 10 minutes to old town), + our room had a kitchenette, + discount in restaurant
- bath room was a bit small
Best resturant at the Hotel, best food we had on our trip!
Extremely friendly staff, very helpful with tourist locations, how to get there etc. Upgraded us to bigger room for free.
The location is a good 7 min (partly uphill) walk from the nearest tram stop to take you into the old town.
Great stuff and service! We had to leave very early in the morning at our last day and they made us a sacked breakfast. There is a supermarket just down the street. And I had the best burger since a very long time in the U Semika restaurant.
The other portions in the restaurant were pretty small seeing the prices, but the great burger we had the next day made up for it!
Qiet location, comfortable room, good food and proximity to Vysehrad
Very comfy for location, staff, cost, food, breakfast, cleanness, bed. A vergogna place to suggest if going to praha
The hotel is very close to the tram station, the area around it is quite and beauiful and it will take you less than 2 minutes to have a breathtaking view of the river and the city. Staff were exceptional especially at the restaurant where the food was great and everyone is smiling. Wifi signal was good and the rooms were spacious. We'll definitely stay here again
the restaurant and breakfast were excellent ,,had dinner twice while there and thought the food was very good ,only had breakfast one morning and it was good value also ..got this hotel for a good price and would not pay more than 30euro per night ,considering it is abit of trek from the city centre 20-25 mins walk and even if one takes the tram it is a good 5-10 min walk uphill ,,I like the area the hotel is in and plenty of nice cafes and bars ..also the room is very big in the hotel ..
the room could have been cleaner ,noise was a problem could hear a conversation in the room next door even though I had earplugs in ,,also the main train line into prague is nearby and a lot of trains pass through so be prepared to be woken early in the morning by the passing train ,,overall it is a budget hotel with a very good restaurant ,,preferred the restaurant than the hotel ..so it is not worth paying more than 30 euro per night
Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast.
Sometimes noise (through thin walls and from the street)
Location, spacious rooms, quite place and good connection with the Old Town, night tram stop is nearby, Vyshegrad is infront the window in 15 meters from the hotel
Breakfasts were far from ideal... poor choice, just 2 types of cheese and ham, boiled eggs, soya sossages, tomatos (not fresh) and croissants, thats ALL!!! The cleaning was quite poor, she cleaning lady has taken away the second pillow and second blanket as soon as she saw that I stay alone in the room. Though after bringing my complains at the reception the missing itemes have been returned. The floor has not been cleaned properly during all my stay.
Price, location was not too far from Prague centre, just a nice walk down the river. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was nice and as a hotel guest we got 20% off in the restaurant
Perfect location - near a park and the castle of Vysehrad, 10 min to the underground and the tram, walking distance to the Centre. Clean hotel, spacious rooms, sufficient breakfast, wifi on full power everywhere :), possibility of parking. Overall, a very quiet and pleasant place with family atmosphere.
position and the breakfasts were both very very good, good transport links but you need a good map, trams are cheap and farely easy.
rooms not great, television has only 1 English channel, staff great apart from the bar staff who are rude and miserable.
Its a hotel which is a bit away from the city center with excellent resturant facility within the hotel itself. A few steps would take one to other eating houses also. The castle at the back of the hotel is an additional attraction to this entire property.Connectivity to city center is also good
Prague is a lovely city. Friendly people. Great public transportation system. Clean. Too many tourists!
The attitude of the staff was superb. They were attentive and friendly, very welcoming and happy to go out of their way to help. It was good to see clear taxi prices at reception - 300czc to the main station in contrast to the 780Czc we had been charged from the station! Good location, 5 mins from tram and 10 mins from Conference Centre through Vysherad grounds.
pleasant place Good breakfast great restaurant with 20% quiet clean area old but good Building well catered for given rams friendly and intelligent personnel
asked for non-smoker room, got a smelly cigy room with big ashtray on the table! Asked for quiet room away from elevator etc., got a room 2mtr from the reception on one side and the gangway out on the other. Needed pait here and there, pretty much I thought, but so wot. Those prices give no room for improvement.
Except for the lady who works on Sunday at the front desk, all staff in this hotel are friendly. Both in the hotel and their restaurant. Check in/Check out are fast. We can pay Euro or CZK, or by CC in this hotel. It's convenient! If you live in this hotel, you get 20% discount in this restaurant. This is good and their food is not bad. It's a little bit outside the downtown, just besides Vysehrad. Scenery is good. Not far from Tram 18/24/3/17...
I lived here twice. The first time I got a tiny room, and that day was pretty hot in Prague, but there's no air-con even no electric fan in this room. It was difficult to sleep. However, when I came back to this hotel in 2 days, I got a big apartment... with electric fan and a kitchen inside! It's totally same price. Don't know what happened! There's a restaurant in this hotel, and they have the seats on the street and in the garden, so it's a little bit noisy! 7.30am, the staff do the breakfast start to talk under your window. 10pm, the people who's eating in the garden still talk under your window. And the service in the restaurant is super slow. You wait for 20/30 min for a piece of grilled pork, even it's delicious, it's a little bit too long. On Sunday, it's terrible! They only hire 2 waiters in the restaurant on Sunday. It's a big restaurant, they have at least 15 tables there. 30min wait for a salad:( This hotel is on hill, if you are not young and strong, you should consider that. Breakfast is soso...
Location is great, breakfast is more than enough for a 3 star hotel. You should experience the library cafe where you have the breakfast. The lady in the reception at our arrival was so helpful and nice.
The room was as if it wasn't used for a while since the blankets were from the winter and there were one spider and one bug in the bed. Lack of A/C could be a serious problem if the temperature is too high like it was during our visit (beg. of august) Just try to avoid from the rooms at the 1st floor. The lady at the reception on the 2nd day was totally rude.
