Perfect. Building and rooms were lovely and had character. Staff was very helpful. Location couldn't have been better.

We had the attique room, no lift bring you there. Bathroom is no more than 1m2. Room was not smelling good. Bed were awful.

There is no elevator in the hotel.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, we were right beside the Old Town Square, where for Easter all the action was happening. The hotel is quite charming in its design and layout. There is no elevator so carrying your bags up the winding staircase can be a challenge, for an unfit person like myself. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast room is quite small and could get quite crowded at times. Also the rustic floorboards did not make for good ceilings as you could hear every creak of the person's movement in the room above you.

the location was excellent and a very good internet connection. The ladies who worked in the hotel were friendly and offered useful advice.

We booked for four adults in an attic room online with booking.com. We were given a room on the second floor (not attic) with one double bed and two foldouts (my confirmation email clearly says 4 adults in beds with the possibility of two foldouts - a total capacity of 6 people which would not have fit in the size room we were given). The bathroom and toilet were behind glass - totally see through and visible from all angles of the room - in order to go to the toilet everyone would have to leave the room (or look the other way) - Very inappropriate for a room booked for 4 adults (not a couple). The foldouts had springs sticking up in the mattress and were bowed in the middle (I've slept in much nicer hostel beds!) - not at all comfortable for the 650 Euros paid for a 4 night stay. We told the reception upon arrival that we were in the wrong type of room as our reservation is for an attic room and we were told that this room was an attic room (even though on the second floor) as it had exposed beams in the roof. Upon departure we expressed how uncomfortable the room was for four adults and we were told that had we booked directly through the hotel and not on Booking.com we would have been given a proper attic room (on the fourth floor) with beds for four adults. Not impressed.

The location of the hotel is excellent - just around a corner from the Old Town Square. The room was very well heated and the bathroom was clean. A selection of DVDs (free to borrow from reception) was available which was great to revive the children after lots of walking.

The breakfast was basic, the breakfast room crowded and no water was available even though I asked - had to bring our own for my child. In a bedroom for four people, there was only one cup for tea/coffee. When leaving the hotel, we were asked if we had made tea/coffee which we had not but there would have been a charge for this - this was not explained beforehand. Although the bathroom was clean, it was extremely small and the shower head leaked and broke during our two night stay. No lift which might be a problem for some.

The location was good, airport transfer handy, friendly staff, old world charm af the hotel.

No problem with hotel, maybe bathroom/shower area could be a little bigger but that is all.

I would return to this hotel but would choose to be on the first floor as there is not any lift and the stairs are go up 2 flights per floor and have a different bedroom! There are some amazing bedrooms, but we weren't so lucky to have one of them; so based on our personal bedroom, it wasnt so brilliant. According to the receptionist the first floor bedrooms have been modernised and I checked this out on departure and one I saw was lovely. Breakfast was brilliant first morning. Simple but lots of it. 2nd and 3rd morning not as good as full quota in breakfast room and not enough seating or food. On the whole, it was value for money for the location and would go back but with a different bedroom.
