we liked the location the hotel was booked in Euro. at payment Euro was changed into Krones at hotel's own rate. if it was changed at official Euro/Krone rate, it gave more than 10 % price increase.

Location was great. Breakfazt was good. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Staff helpful Be careful with parking your car. Only in the white zone is free. We got a ticket on a Sunday for parking in a blue zone that the staff said would be ok.

Not much. The staff was incredibly unpleasant. Somehow, there had been a computer glitch and the me room was booked twice on the same credit card number. The hotel insisted that I should pay for the extra room, even though I was only traveling alone with my son. They were extremely argumentative about it to the point of rudeness. There was no sense of goodwill or welcome. There were many drunk people out of the street when the taverns were closing so the room was not very quiet. The room was clean, I cannot complain about that, but the bedding was laughably tiny. The one blanket provided did not eventfully cover me, and I am not a large or overweight person. The mattress was incredibly thin too.

Location was great, nice to have breakfast included in room. good service, liked the free DVDs and laptop accessibility and wi fi. the bathroom smelled kindy of fishy, like methane (we have a septic tank, and our bathrooms smell like this when we don't treat the septic tank) the room was not decorated very well. (#7)

A beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The staff were accommodating and friendly: can borrow DVDs from the front desk and buy stamps to be able to send postcards from the hotel - saved us a lot of trouble walking around trying to find those facilities. The room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to the Czech Republic. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Prague.

Location , close to Old Town Square, was ideal for touring the City. Beware if you have heavy luggage, there is no lift and the stairs are winding ,especially to the third floor! The breakfast room is small,so be ready to queue and the food is a bit limited. These niggles apart....a good spot for seeing Prague....and the Hotel has good deals with Taxi drivers.

Location , Quirky designs, nicely remodeled, free use of laptops We booked for four adults in an attic room online with booking.com. We were given a room on the second floor (not attic) with one double bed and two foldouts (my confirmation email clearly says 4 adults in beds with the possibility of two foldouts - a total capacity of 6 people which would not have fit in the size room we were given). The bathroom and toilet were behind glass - totally see through and visible from all angles of the room - in order to go to the toilet everyone would have to leave the room (or look the other way) - Very inappropriate for a room booked for 4 adults (not a couple). The foldouts had springs sticking up in the mattress and were bowed in the middle (I've slept in much nicer hostel beds!) - not at all comfortable for the 650 Euros paid for a 4 night stay. We told the reception upon arrival that we were in the wrong type of room as our reservation is for an attic room and we were told that this room was an attic room (even though on the second floor) as it had exposed beams in the roof. Upon departure we expressed how uncomfortable the room was for four adults and we were told that had we booked directly through the hotel and not on Booking.com we would have been given a proper attic room (on the fourth floor) with beds for four adults. Not impressed.

Having stayed before we knew the location to be perfect for a city winter market break. It is The refurbishment is generally excellent, the size of the rooms and bathrooms also excellent. Whilst it is as central as one can get it does have well priced bars and restaurants around it so no need to walk far. If we go back to Prague, this is where we will head for. The standard of refurbishment is very high but as usual modern designers have forgotten that one has to use the bathrooms. There are no shelves for bits and pieces, no soap dish in the shower so you can only put shower gel, shampoo or soap on the floor. I don't bend as well as I did ! Also no loo roll holder. All small things which did not spoil the holiday but could have helped to make life easier.

I would return to this hotel but would choose to be on the first floor as there is not any lift and the stairs are go up 2 flights per floor and have a different bedroom! There are some amazing bedrooms, but we weren't so lucky to have one of them; so based on our personal bedroom, it wasnt so brilliant. According to the receptionist the first floor bedrooms have been modernised and I checked this out on departure and one I saw was lovely. Breakfast was brilliant first morning. Simple but lots of it. 2nd and 3rd morning not as good as full quota in breakfast room and not enough seating or food. On the whole, it was value for money for the location and would go back but with a different bedroom.

Excellent Location! Just around old town square, in front oj Kafka´s house! Free wifi and laptops to borrow free of charge as well as a permanent pc in the reception for customers to use at will. I stayed in room 17 (attic room). Beautiful room but unfortunately the bed was way to soft and ocasionaly we could smell differentes types os food... I guess it was due to the brazilian restaurant that was rightt next to the hotel.

The location was good. The rooms were very small and way overpriced. the breakfast was minimally acceptable, but for the price of the room we should have gotten an excellent breakfast with a much larger room. The bathroom had a bathtub that was imposible to stand up in and only 1 meter long making it impossible for an adult to stretch your legs in. very disappointing room! Moreover, the staff refused to return our money and let us go to another hotel when we checked in and initially went to see the room. So, we were stuck! For the price it's the worst place i've stayed in europe in my 30 years of travelling to Europe!

Central location just few meters from the old town square, good price. Problems with hot water, the temperature is jumping during the shower and in one evening there was no hot water at all because of some problem in the building.

“The hotel surpassed my expectations. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, and clean with modern bathrooms. Plenty of access to wi-fi, and the breakfast every morning was great. They even packed us a take away breakfast the morning we left. I will definitely stay here again in future, and recommend it to anyone traveling to Prague.” Wayne, Coon Rapids, Mn |
