It is stunning to stay in a 14th century building, right across the square from Kafka's house and steps from the city square and the old Jewish ghetto. The 24 presence of friendly staff and the use of internet is useful and made me feel secure. The breakfast is nutritious and there is something for everyone. The hotel is suitable for all ages. My room in the residence had a floral scent that I preferred to unplug, even though without it the room was not completely fresh (understandable in such an old building and during damp weather). I highly recommend this hotel. |

Location was superb....in the Old Town and so close to many of Prague's glorious attractions. Lots of choice for dining and shopping. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Being older visitors, lack of a lift facility meant climbing 83 steps to our room was a challenge. |

the staff were extremly helpfull and were always willing to supply us with imformation about prague and what to see and how to get to many destinations. the food for breakfast was not so appealing.the noise from the toilets being flushed was extremly loud and would wake us up every night. |

Location, location, location! Literally just round the corner from Old Town Square. Plus, the reception staff were brilliant. Knowing we were arriving on an early flight, they made sure our rooms were available at 9am. This is unheard of. Then, they remembered on our last day that we wanted a taxi to the airport, and came unbidden to remind us. You don't get service like that at the big... With no lift, this is not a hotel for the disabled or infirm, and there was a little noise on the stairs from late guests. But these did not really affect us. |

Serviceminded staff and an ok breakfast. There's a whole town of food right outside the door anyways... It's location is impecable. Right off the corner to the notorious clock. More important - it's walking distance to everything! The brazilian restaurant in the basement is a must, and I'd also recommend electronic city guide, which is for free to borrow..... |

Very central. Spacious room. Friendly staff. No lift and no help in carrying luggage up to 4th floor through very narrow steps. No courtesy shampoo, conditioner, showercap, or tissues in micro bathroom. Poor breakfast in tiny room. |

The friendliness of and assistance by the hotel staff; very considerate. Free: streetplan, audioguide, dvd's, pc with internet in the reception, but also free wifi in the rooms and you can borrow a laptop for free too during your stay. Utterly close to shops (high and low brow), Astronimical clock, Charles bridge, Jewish quarter, etc.. Everything is at walking distance, actually. Rather poor breakfast. No elevator (but a known fact when I booked), though we were lucky to be placed 'only' on the second floor. No possibility to open up a window (daylight coming in via the bathroom ceiling). Airco was provided, though blowing in kitchen smells from the restaurant below. |

The location (around the corner from Old Town Square) is marvellously convenient & central for exploring Prague on foot particularly. Reception staff were friendly & very helpful. Convenience of a small fridge in the room (contents for sale if used, of course). I did not like the 32 very narrow steps I had to take to my room on 2nd floor of the annex. Unimpressed to have to pay for using tea or coffee sachets in room with electric kettle supplied. No small shampoo, conditioner, showercap or tissues supplied as a courtesy, as in most hotels I have visited in 54 other countries worldwide! |

Very well situated close to the main square, free WIFI and free loan of a laptop, also free DVDs to borrow. Was lead to believe it was a grander hotel, quiet basic when we arrived, lots and lots of steps up to the room, breakfast room tiny. |
