Location, location, location. The hotel is placed right next to the Old Town Square in an old and rather charming house.

"Old and charming" can at times only seem old.

We had the top floor with a beautiful room. however, the stairs were steep specially accessing the bedroom (located on the second floor) from the entrance. also the bath room was on the first floor

Hotel has a great location, all most importang tourist attractions in walking distance.

The hotel breafast was good but did not have many choises. Recommening to confirm after reservation that you will get the booked room for whole duration of the trip. One bigger disappoinment was when arriving back to hotel some stuff (sand-like) had fallen from roof to our kids' bed.

The room was comfortable but did not have a window, or other means of getting fresh air.

The location of the hotel is fabulous. Size of the room was great.

Bathroom was a little bit small, however understandable with respect to the limitations of the building.

The room is clean and large. The bathroom also clean and large. The staffs are very friendly. They helped me to booked some tours and get the taxi to picked and drove me to the airport. The location is great, only 1 minutes from to the old town and Astronomical clocks. Breakfast is superb. I will stay at this hotel next time i visit Prague.

There is no elevator to bring the luggages. But no worries, the staffs willl help.

Location was perfect, cost very good for facilities provided. One receptionist (sorry didn't take her name), spoke excellent English and was very helpful when enquiring about how to get to Lidice via bus and train. Room large, clean and had plenty of hanging space for our stay.

Stayed here 9 years ago and had forgotten that there was no lift and our room was on the top floor, but this wasn't too much of a problem as we thought it was good exercise! Room had no ash tray in it (not sure if it was a smoking or non smoking room and can't remember if we requested non-smoking at the time of booking), but it had a very strong smell of smoke that lingered through out the 4 day stay, even after leaving the windows opened for short periods throughout the day. Shower was looking a little tired (tiles, cracks in the sink), but then you get what you pay for!

Excellent location. Room in the other building was spacious and quiet, well worth the money. Breakfast ok, basic but just enough. We got excellent service.

No elevator, so stairs after walking all day are exhausting. Mattresses in our room were poor.

This was our favorite hotel on this trip. We LOVED the character of such an old hotel. We (4 of us) stayed in the loft - if you are looking for ambience, then this is the place. There is a significant walk up to the room but worth every step. The receptionist was welcoming and we were able to check our baggage before our room was ready. Breakfast was good as well. It is well situated in the old town near old town square and Franz Kafkas house.

The hotel is situated very well near to the Old Town square. Room was extra large and warm.

The bathroom was too small.

I loved its prime location, a block from the historic Old Plaza. The hotel is located in a building erected in 1407, historically called "The Green Frog" and right next to the place where Frank Kafta was born. We would go to the plaza even at midnight and always had a strong sense of security. The bathroom is modern, the bed comfortable, and the heating system in perfect working condition!

The creeky floor in our room, more than a point of dislike, was a gentle reminder that we were staying in a 700-year old place... I certainly would stay there again. Besides, we spent very little time in the room, anyway.

This hotel is located right behind the Astronomical clock in the Old city. Great location. If you plan to stay in the bigger rooms, like the suites, be ready to carry your bags up a few flight of stairs. Hot water cooker was available in the room. Wifi connection was excellent even in the attic level.

Excellent location but not a good choice for older people. Although we advised the hotel we were unable to cope with too many stairs our allocated room was up 50 stairs and no assistance was available with our big suitcases. The breakfast provided was fine and the room warm and clean but very sparsely equipped with old creaky furniture. Although the building was old and quaint the carpets and fittings were grubby and needed renewing. The staff, with one delightful exception, was surly and monosyllabic.

Location was great, central and everything can be easily walked from it. Directly behing Old Town Square. Room was of a good size. Breakfast was very simple, but ample.
