The building is very old so everything in the room was old (the floor, the bed, the windows, the chairs). Everything seemed so dirty. The pillowcases had holes and the bathroom towels was black with dirt. They didnot change towels and sheets for 4 days even though we asked them to do it. One of the worst hotels to be. The total price for 4 nights and 2 persons was 256 euros, which I think is a very high price for this hotel. It should be instead around 100 euros. Dont choose it.

The price. Anyone complaining about the breakfast or a bit of noise should simply go pay more money somewhere else. It was perfect for us as a place to crash after looking around the sights of Prague. The room was clean and the breakfast filled you up for the morning. Reception staff were helpful.

But I suppose I got what paid for. Prague is a grey place to spend with family friends and I will be back but will de not be staying here.

Good value for money, helpful staff, small bath (petty), excellent roof top views, can be noisy as it's near the fire/police station, lift only to 3rd floor. 200mtrs from Wenceslas Square.

- central location. - poor service - staff smoked at the reception filling the hotel with some or the smell. -towels not replaced as stated in the policy; just folded and kept back. - staff had little information about the city. - break fast items not refilled easily, limited choice as well. - broken lift not repaired for 2 days, needing to drag luggage up the stairs. - no wireless network connection as stated in the information

location, value for money & friendly staff requested twin beds & didn't get them, complained & got one twin room, requested 3, some of the other guests took advantage of the breakfast buffet & a party of 4 (inc 1 child) wrapped at least 20 sandwiches for their lunch which left hardly anything for the other guests, we complained several times & nothing was done, no wonder prices have increased!!! I can't believe these parents teach their children to steal at such an early age, i was quite shocked also a window blind was broke, reported straight away & nothing was done either, we had to improvise!

I didn't like everything. First when we arrived at the hotel the staff couldn't find keys to my room. The had been doing it for more than half an hour. Moreover, very often when entering the hotel there was cigarette smoke - staff members smoked right at the reception. In the evening, when it's dark in the street, they used to turn off the lights in the corridors and I had to go upstairs to the 3 floor and downstairs in complete darkness. I used my mobile to lighten the stairs. At the end I can say that hotel pictures at booking.com are completely different from what it really looks like!

The leaving part! Anyway, congrats to the photographer! The pictures on the booking.com are really nice! The staff was not informed, so the parking was 1km away down the hill and 40euro/day. It was cold and the bathroom looked like after a war. The breakfast was kind of bread and butter, in a cold, dark and noisy room.

Hotel Venezia is a very cheap hotell in the middle of Prague. It`s close to shopping, the national museum and the Opera. It`s situated in the new part of town, but in walking distance to the old town and to the lesser side of town. We had to stay at another hotel the first night. We were told that the heating was gone at one hole floor of the hotel, but we are not quite sure, it may have been overbooked. We stayed at the same hotel 4 years ago, and liked it better then. It seems as if no shanges or aprovements have been done the last 4 years.

Good location, Fair break-fast quality and good security. 1) Initial room offered was too small -hardly 3,5 mtrs x 3.5 mtrs. On my complaint I was offered a better room. 2) There was only one light in room and that was insufficient. 3) There was no telephone in my room. 4) Room heaters were not working properly.

Great location! Very close to the tourist attractions and railway station, so you no need use transport at all. The worst thing was their breakfast… I don’t want to be hypercritical but the breakfasts was really bad. I suggest don’t sell this hotel as a hotel with breakfasts!
