Score from 922 reviews Excellent
The hotel is centrally situated in the quiet and green Vinohrady district with its numerous parks, about half a mile from Wenceslas Square, the main Prague boulevard.

Hotel Tivoli is next to I. P. Pavlova metro station, a 10 minute walk from Prague's central Wenceslas Square. Rooms have free internet and air-conditioning and there is a free internet station.
Score from 418 reviews Very good
The room was big and comfortable and we even had a bathtub. Lovely
Location good for transport
We stayed for 5 nights. On 4 days we had to ask for our beds to be made when we got back to the hotel at teatime! One day the receptionist told us that it was only a 3 star hotel which didn't include having your bed made so we should make it ourselves! The bathroom and bedroom were not cleaned at all during our stay and we had to ask for clean sheets. The young male cleaner was spotted several times in corridors either eating or chatting on his phone with not a hoover in sight!
The staff who works during the day while were there was super nice and helpful
Pretty much everything, staff at night cannot speak a word of English, useless. Attic room equipped with mattress thinner than towels,i had spring prints on my body in the morning , shower big enough to fit a midget, super pound noise from street etc.,
excellent location, good price, cleaness
not very comfortable bed to sleep, too much noisy during the night due to sirenes of police, ambulance ecc... not recharge for shampoo or any day uses, not recharge even for bathroom papers.
Cleanliness without three days!
Location - just 5 mins walk from Vaclavske namesti. Wifi - at the reception. Clean rooms and bathroom.
Very soft bed. Small things could be fixed in a few mins and it helps the overall look of this hotel (f.e. chips on the walls, more space in the breakfast room,...)
location was good, only 15 minutes walk to the central tourist areas, some shops and restaurants nearby including a Tesco and a good steak house.
the light in the bathroom didn't work, the towels and sheets were not changed in the three days we were there. internet only works in the hotel lobby.
The localisation of the hotel
It has been the worst bed I've ever been in a developed country. Actually both beds, joined as a double bed were as bad : missing slats or not staying in place slats, very bad mattress. I ended up putting a mattress on the floor to sleep. Non closing well windows and a lot of traffic noise. Very thin curtains with a lot of light going through even during the night. At first the room looks perfectly clean. However, I was quite bitten during the night, (not by mosquitoes or spiders). On a side note, as it is not very important, I might add that while I had received an e-mail from Booking.com stating that the hotel had confirmed that I could check-in early at no cost (beetween 12 and 13 hour), mail I hadn't read as I was in the plane when it arrived, the hotel receptionist wanted 10 euros for that.
Central Location Good Price Helpful Staff
Noisey due to traffic (expected because of location)
We spent 8 nights at Hotel Venezia at the beginning of September. We were 5 people and we had 3 rooms. The three most important things that we liked about this hotel were: 1. The staff - they were very friendly. They had good tips regarding various questions that we had, like telling us where there is a good money exchange place or how to get to a certain location in Prague. They really did they best to help us with every issue during out stay. 2. The location - the hotel is located close to the center of Prague on one hand, and close to the non-tourist places on the other - which is important if you are looking for more decent prices for food and drinks at restaurants and bars. 3. The price - the price was significantly lower compared to many other hotels at the same location. Bottom line, we enjoyed our stay and we recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a non-expensive place to stay, located at a good spot to explore the city. Thanks!
1. The bed mattress was too soft. 2. It could be better if the rooms were cleaner then they were. 3. If windows are opened, the noise from the street is very strong. An air conditioner could solve this problem (it was pretty hot while we were in Prague).
Location is excellent
Great high ceilings make the room feel spacious. Great location and excellent value for money.
Poor internet access in rooms and poor lighting on the stairs.
An Hotel in Praha central position very confortable. There is a kind and helpfull staff: they are always available for any information, suggestion or help. In the room there are comfortable bed and the room is very cleanly (even though the moquette). This hotel has an excellent value for money. Me and my girlfriend recommend this hotel in Praha to everyone who want to spend a very nice time in this beautiful city.
Location near metro, trams to other side of the river and close to central station. Room 301 was spacious and quiet. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Slight smoke odour in the room just when we arrived but it was not an issue really.
Location is excellent, close to city center, Metro station The staff was extremely helpful
The towels were old and hardened due to excessive washing/bleaching and not so clean The Bed made too much noise The curtains in the room were too thin for privacy
cheap price, room is really big, staff is good
the shower does't work well, have to wait for a long time to get hot water
It's located near a lot of hospitals, so there's a lot of noise from ambulances. Weired building.
Excellent location Close to metro Good value for money (due to location and clean beds)
Small room No lift to the 4th floor Nobody cleaned our room in three days and towels were not changed Bathroom (shower had low pressure, had some problems with water in our sink)
the location is good and the equipments are okay.
can only use the WIFI in the lobby...
When You get a problem and personel do their best to solve it means they really care. That was the best thing! And as well position: so next to metro and main places of the city
For the price overall it's a great place. High ceilings, clean, 24hr desk, location is convenient enough.
Wifi is only available in the lobby. Staff is quite strange. When I wanted to pay for breakfast (330 czk), they didn't have change from 500czk and they made me (visibly pregnant and all) find a grocery store to get change (which obviously the grocery stores didn't want to give). Finally when another guest at the hotel had kindly helped us we found that the breakfast was in a sort of basement and definitely too expensive for what you get so we ended up getting breakfast elsewhere.
When we arrived the place looked like it was shut down. We were on the fourth floor which is the attic. There was a terrible smell in our room for the length of our stay. It is a very old run down hotel and would not recommend it if you are looking for comfort.
Free WiFi Hotel in the heart of Prague Comfortable room Friendly staff Reasonable price
The location was very good as it was only a stones throw from all the activity. Lady on reception was very polite and obtained a fan for the next night, however we moved out that morning.
Where does one start? 1/. DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE 2/. CHECK THE ROOM OUT BEFORE YOU BOOK IN 3/. INSIST ON AIR CONDITIONING (There is none) Temperature over 30C Not comfortable 4/. VERY NOISY EVEN WITH DOUBLE GLAZING 5/. PROMISED CHAMPAGNE NEVER EVENTUATED 6/. EMPTY FRIDGE 7/. NO DRINKING WATER AVAILABLE We could not take more than one night even though we had paid for 4 nights in advance. The temp was over 32c and not even a fan to help so we had to have the windows open all night to cool down. The noise from the traffic was horrendous. The room was very clinical and reminded us of a hospital room. We realise that we were looking for cheap accommodation and we hit the jackpot! Our standards could not reach such a low level. A lesson learned check it out first before parting with your money.
