The staff and the location eee probably the best thing going for this old hotel.
House keeping service could really be improved. Sheets were not changed for the duration of the week long stay. The springs were sticking out of the mattress digging into our backs. The pillows were literally disintegrated and you could feel the cotton balls in your fingers if you held the pillow up to adjust it, so all the cotton balls could fall in one place and you could some what call it a pillow to lay your head on. The room size was decent but you could smell the dust - I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is allergic to dust.
I was dissapointed because there is not a fridge in the room.
Friend had heating not working on his apartment, not just room, they were unable to fix it during whole day, no discount or another apartment offered, poor service
Top Floor Ceiling view of the sky.
Bathroom had no shower curtains which made it easy to splash a mess. Wifi was only available in the lobby.
Hotel is basically a boarding house. Not great. One staff member was rude. We also found that the taxi they arranged is 3 times the normal price.
Good location; Friendly and helpful staff; Comfortable room, perfect for resting; after all-day sightseeing; Pocket-friendly price
The hotel is quite nice, it's not super luxurious but it's clean and it's located very close to the centre of Prague. Overall it was a good experience.
What I found odd was that there were no big towels, we were only given 2-3 small ones so that was a bit inconvenient.
The stuff was really friendly and polite and the position was good.
Very nice and helpful receptionist (Dan), room was clean
Breakfast could be better
Location is app. 5 minute (walking) from tbe museum. Tram, bus & metro is 2 min. By foot.
1. Heating is a it problematic. 2. No hair drayer in the room (had to ask fkr one at the desk). 3. Elevator goes up to tbe 3 floor, but the hotel has 4 floors. 5. Not enogbt Shampo is given (1 small shampoo for a couple).... even thugh it's possi le to go down to the desk and ask for more.
Price, distance from centre, friendly receptionist
No tea/coffee making facilities in room
The room that we got are covert from 1 bedroom Apartment, There are much bigger than regular hotel size room. The location close to city center and Metro, Tram and Bus near buy. Staff are helpful and polite.
A few up to date decoration will make big different.
Not Much - staff was nice
Room was not clean, stains on the carpet Stains on the sheets TV did not work no wifi in room a little noisy Very close to the one of the most dangerous parts in Prague - park next to main station
- heating did not work and they were not able to fix it even after 3 complaints to reception personnel - we spent 4 days in 18°C - I've seen much better hotels for such price (even hostel was better)
Hotel is really near to the city Vaclavske namesti, near to metro and people are really nice at the hotel.
The bed was really really bad quality at our room, 4 floor think it was room 402 or 432 cant remeber. Really needs to be change.
The room was big and comfortable and we even had a bathtub. Lovely
Location good for transport
We stayed for 5 nights. On 4 days we had to ask for our beds to be made when we got back to the hotel at teatime! One day the receptionist told us that it was only a 3 star hotel which didn't include having your bed made so we should make it ourselves! The bathroom and bedroom were not cleaned at all during our stay and we had to ask for clean sheets. The young male cleaner was spotted several times in corridors either eating or chatting on his phone with not a hoover in sight!
The staff who works during the day while were there was super nice and helpful
Pretty much everything, staff at night cannot speak a word of English, useless. Attic room equipped with mattress thinner than towels,i had spring prints on my body in the morning , shower big enough to fit a midget, super pound noise from street etc.,
excellent location, good price, cleaness
not very comfortable bed to sleep, too much noisy during the night due to sirenes of police, ambulance ecc... not recharge for shampoo or any day uses, not recharge even for bathroom papers.
Cleanliness without three days!
Location - just 5 mins walk from Vaclavske namesti. Wifi - at the reception. Clean rooms and bathroom.
Very soft bed. Small things could be fixed in a few mins and it helps the overall look of this hotel (f.e. chips on the walls, more space in the breakfast room,...)
location was good, only 15 minutes walk to the central tourist areas, some shops and restaurants nearby including a Tesco and a good steak house.
the light in the bathroom didn't work, the towels and sheets were not changed in the three days we were there. internet only works in the hotel lobby.
The localisation of the hotel
It has been the worst bed I've ever been in a developed country. Actually both beds, joined as a double bed were as bad : missing slats or not staying in place slats, very bad mattress. I ended up putting a mattress on the floor to sleep. Non closing well windows and a lot of traffic noise. Very thin curtains with a lot of light going through even during the night. At first the room looks perfectly clean. However, I was quite bitten during the night, (not by mosquitoes or spiders). On a side note, as it is not very important, I might add that while I had received an e-mail from Booking.com stating that the hotel had confirmed that I could check-in early at no cost (beetween 12 and 13 hour), mail I hadn't read as I was in the plane when it arrived, the hotel receptionist wanted 10 euros for that.
Central Location Good Price Helpful Staff
Noisey due to traffic (expected because of location)
