In the historic, Neo-Renaissance-style palace you can find elegantly furnished rooms with high ceilings and marble bathrooms. The proximity to old town square cannot be beat but this very nearness is also a detriment in trying to drive to it. The Gps system did not recognize many pedestrian streets and unmarked one way streets. It took us over an hour once we were in Prague to finally find the hotel. And this was only after parking in a pedestrian area illegally and walking to the hotel. The staff was great and the bellman followed us to the car and rode back with my husband. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean but would not recommend the loft deluxe room. Having the bedroom upstairs was not very convenient since our bags were delivered downstairs. We had all skylights so no real view to speak of.Based overall on Price vs service and value I would not recommend . Tha lobby is quite depressing and did not feel like a five star hotel. The buffet breakfast was served in a bright charming room but any hot items were quite cold. Things were not replenished as often as the other hotels we stayed at on this trip. The bellman parks your car at the Marriott parking garage but again this was the most expensive parking on our entire trip. Hotel staff while able to speak English were not very knowledgeable about the tours nor did they make any suggestions. The one tour we took "the Ultimate Tour" represented that in the afternoon you would board Our Classic Tram for a ride to the castle where On the way you would enjoy views of the city and life in lesser town. This was a city tram that you were lucky to get a seat much less enjoy views! The tour guide was knowledgeable but again this six hour tour was to end at Charles Bridge and ended at the Castle. It became an exhausting eight hour walking tour that I would not recommend. The desk clerk seemed unaware of any of this when we asked initially about the tour.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They smile, something that u dont see much of in the Czech Rep. The rooms are lovely and spacious. This is The Hotel to stay in for location, everything is within walking distance. This is my 3rd stay at the Ventana and will be the hotel I will always come back to.

The location of this hotel is the best in Prague! Right in the middle of the old town, with walking distance to everything you need and want. Even so it is located in a very quiet street just behind the Tyn Cathedrale, so the rooms are very quiet and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, the rooms spacious and nice and. The breakfast buffet was great, and included even champagne if you wanted to. Free tea and cookies in the library every afternoon. The only thing I could comment on is the view from the room - which was almost none existing, as the windows were on the roof. I would definitely book this hotel again.

We loved the very spacious suite on the top floor with views across the city. The location is perfect- right at the heart of the old town but peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious- with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The central location was ideal. The room was spacious, clean and very nice. Breakfast was included and had a large variety of delicious food. It was nice to come into the lounge area and have a drink and use the computer after a day of site seeing. This is definitely the hotel we will stay in when we return to Prague for our next visit.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town Square, steps away from all the beautiful historic and cultural sights of Prague and many restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating, especially when I asked to change my room from a smoking (yes they have smoking rooms) to a non-smoking room. They were also wonderful when it came to storing my things for the day, after checking out I still had several hours to enjoy the city with before my departure. Breakfast was also quite good. The modern design of the rooms was rather bland, The beds weren't all that comfortable and, truth be told, small. The built in tv was awkward and ancient (expected better at a five-star hotel). Then again, didn't spend a whole lot of time watching tv in beautiful Prague.

Everything! We were given a suite on the 3rd floor and our windows looked out to a street leading to the Square. So pretty. The room itself was bright, spacious and clean in mint green. Would love to stay here again. Best location. Plus those at the reception were always friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable and fresh. Top notch place.

Excellent location with views of the Old Town Square and church. A step out of the hotel and you were in the heart of the town. Hotel staff in particular the reception desk were very efficient and friendly. They organised the room that I requested with no fuss, during our stay my wife celebrated a birthday and they arranged flowers on my behalf and provided a complimentary bottle of champagne. Breakfasts were a good selection of hot and cold and local products. I requested a corner room facing the square and got the room requested with no fuss. I can only assume because of that rooms popularity that it is very well used and therefore has not been updated or kept up to standard expected. The carpets were very well worn and stained in a number of places. This let down what could otherwise have been a very good room. I don't think the carpets were vacumned in our entire 7 day stay.

Superb location, very quiet, despite being in one the busiest streets of Prague, very friendly staff, would certainly stay there again, highly recommended Rooms carpets really need to be replaced, light switches near bed not pratical at all (too far from bed), old tv sets on a 5-star hotel is something you do not expect nowadays

Great location very close to the beautiful Old Town Square, but amazingly enough a rather quiet place. The room was very spacious, clean, and bright thanks to large windows, and with comfortable amenities. Slow elevator ;-)
