i was recommended this hotel by the clinic while i was in prague for surgery.i needed to book into a hotel for 4 days to rest after my surgery before flying home.they looked at me like an alien as i had black eyes and a splint on my nose.i also had surgery on my stomach and could hardly walk.i requested room serviceso i could have my breakfast in my room and other meals if need be as i was unable to walk and felt concious of my looks.they informed me when i got there that i couldnt have it!!!..i had to get up at 6am and fetch my breakfast and take it to my room before anyone got up and saw me.also there was a party of 150 italian students there who partied all night!!!..i didnt sleep for 4 days and was depressed and exhausted,they banged on walls,doors ,shouted,screamed till up to 5am!.i complained up to 5 times a night and the receptionist tried to speak to them but they just laughed at her and didnt take any notice.i asked to speak to the manager on my last day.he basically told me he couldnt afford to not accept the booking.i told him his reputation should be more important than having young rowdy kids in destroying his hotel and upsetting his guests!!..he said all i can do i give you a days refund!!...which i never got because my bill was paid prior with yourselves and the young lady said she wasnt allowed to do it!!..so all in all a terrible stay with poor customer service.they have alot of patients from the clinic and i think they should do room service! they dont even have a kettle in the room,so i went 15 to 20 hrs without a drink!...

This accomodation was very cheap (35 eur per night per room breakfast included). 15 minutes by bus or tram from the center or Malastrana. Internet doesn't really work well in the rooms where we lodged (we changed room the second day as we were not satisfied about the internet connection).

Room was quite spacious. Nothing else, except this.

As all have mentioned earlier, the staff were very rude. They were not even smiling at you when you are before them. Wifi is not working in our room. Poor breakfast. We haven't ate any thing during breakfast. When anybody walks above your room, you can hear them very loud.. Lot of sounds in the room

Breakfast is a disaster, no choice art all, not even black tea. Second day we didn't even come. Air-conditioning is started only if outside temperature very high. We were put in a room in the front side where sun was heating up all the time so it was very hot and noisy from public transport passing just in front. Fortunately upon request they have changed our room to back side room much cooler and really quiet. Underground parking is only for about 10 cars Internet is payable and pretty much useless, I took 2h from which i could load maybe two pages as others gave timeout

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts in the adjoining restaurant were very good, with extensive choice of items -- buffet style. Location on major tram and bus lines was very convenient, and a rare tram ticket kiosk was right outside -- very handy. At least 3 nearby restaurants were very good and reasonably priced. Medium sized grocery store nearby. [ We initially booked the room for 4 nights - see below - with tourist office -- then decided to stay for a week more, given its convenient location and reasonable price. ]

Perhaps not as quiet as some folks would like, given the regular tram and truck traffic outside, crossing a main intersection.

Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wifi is cheap - 1 euro a night. Tram is right across the street!

The wifi signal was very weak and the staff were not very helpul. Do not accept that the staff call you a cab, they call a private driver which costs twice as much as a regular cab which is easy to flag down by the hotel. The tram takes 20 minutes to get into town. Breakfast is the same everyday and closes at 9:30 am.

The front disk were friendly & helpful people & gentle with the guests. The location of the Hotel is good 10-15 minutes to the City Center.

Only the traffic noise starting from the early morning was little much & the breakfast restaurant close & finish with the food little bit early

Good for the money, better arrive the city in day time

hotel vitkov had used my credit card for paying the hotel costs without asking to me. this was not very kind. because i was planning to pay for € as cash. because of the exchange rate, credit card payment costs me additional 30€. when i gave my credit card information to booking.com, there was writing "this information is neccesary for security" or something like that. so after this i understood that if i use booking.com for booking a hotel i can't pay the cost as cash. because they don't ask me if i wanna pay cash or credit card.
