Hotel Waldstein    

Geweldige ligging Ruime Kamers Mooi ingericht Zeer goed geisoleerd (totaal geen last gehad van nachtvorst, verwarming alleen al aan zetten werd veel te warm)

Enigzins gehorig hotel (had er zelf weinig last van, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het bij drukte anders kan zijn) Een mogelijkheid om de douchekop op te hangen was fijn geweest in de kamer die wij hadden

Ligt aan een mooi pleintje.

Meubilair kamers is wat oud. Douche kan beter.

Large apartment, very good breakfast, comfortable, closed to Charles Bridge.

Although the parking place is very closed to the hotel, it is expensive. Allergic people, like me, may face problems with the carpet inside the apartment.

The location is fantastic and the staff is helpful.

- The hotel is really noisy - Furniture and curtains are worn and deteriorating. - The bathroom is small and minimalistic - And it seems they dont know how to decalcify the shower head. If this was a budget hotel it would be fine i guess, but i expect A LOT more from a hotel claiming to be a 4 start hotel.

Great location, near the metro, Charles Bridge, the many cafes and restaurants

That number is at very different from the picture in the order. Booked a room deluxe, two-room provided of course, but it was not as they wanted and had hoped! When you try to change the number, they said that all the rooms are occupied until our departure, though they had seen a few numbers, such as in the photo, cleaned cleaner. And the key to the reception desk was enough. A bottle of wine given as promised!

Its perfect location to visit the Old City of Prague simply on foot.

Parking is a bit expensive.

Location in a 17 century building in the very centre of historic Prague

Only restaurant is nice because in cavern, but service e another things is very POOR

The most important positive feature of this hotel is its location in the center, 3 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge and 5 minutes from the stairs to the Castle makes it very attractive. 50 meters from Hotel is large parking, next to the Czech Senate, almost always walked there the Police. Hotel Service speaking fluent English, breakfast at the hotel very good and in the very climatic basement.

Due to its wooden construction the hotel is very noisy, I mean when people move in the corridors and in the rooms is very audible. We just got the room which is always knocking something almost like raindrops but in the ceiling.. I do not know what it was but terribly disturbed and cause discomfort. A similar situation was when someone in the next room taking a shower, the sound of fairly large and upsetting. Mainly because of this discomfort, I would not recommend this hotel because after a long day exploring the city, a man wants to relax in peace and quiet and go to sleep but without earplugs this would not be possible. In addition, our room was extremely small, practically the only bed and wardrobe ..but this is less problem than those knocks.

Room was huge and clean. I felt like I was in the castle...

The breakfast pleased with its diversity and room interior as well as free toiletries and fresh towels. The location is very central, which is only to city explorer's advantage.

The room in reality deviated much from the room pictures on the hotel website.

Two joined single beds rather than a double.

1. Hotel staffs are a little bit tuff.This is why they may be born, grawn and educated under comunism social system. 2. beds(twin) are not in side by side but in alignment. so my foot is faced with that of my wife.

Having stayed at this Hotel before I knew the location was close enough to Charles Bridge, the wonderful Castle and Green Metro line to suit our purposes as it was a one night stopover and we wanted to stay in this part of Praha. Could be described as a little bit off the main busy walking route, as it's close to Czech Senate but also literally around the corner from the beautiful Waldstein Gardens which we discovered on this trip. Breakfast was adequate and staff were friendly.

I've stayed at this Hotel 4 times over the past few years and twice I was allocated lovely rooms with plush bathrooms, and twice I've had rooms which would be best described as tidy, clean and fairly basic but the bathrooms \ shower facilities were really in need of updating and really quite poor in terms of what you'd expect for a Hotel of this standard. It's possibly a case of the better rooms being allocated to those paying top price....I'm not sure, but I'd still consider staying here again if the price was right!

The hotel is beautifully furnished and the rooms are spacious and well set out. The location is ideal for visiting Prague's beautiful sites of interest.

Being near legislative offices and embassies, hotel location was quiet and safe. Very close to Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. Excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. Hotel staff extremely helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.

No in room coffee machine.

hotel is wonderfull, rooms are very spacious and old looking, very nice and romantic atmosphere, very comfortable and not so expensive transfer service from/to the airport, breakfast is very good and you can use breakfast room till 11, so you can sleep out a bit. The location is just perfect, only 5 min away from Charles bridge, shopping streets, lot of restaurants arround. Staff is very helpfull and friendly, free wi-fi everywhere in the hotel, mini bar in rooms, smoking place in patio.

good audibility, specially if smb talking loud in patio or next to doors, might be scary))) even when it's raining the only one smoking place is still in patio under the rain.
