Max Beer Apartments  

The Max Beer was in an excellent location and central to go anywhere as Alexandraplatz station was just around the corner from the apartment.The accomodation was excellent,really modern and spacious.and the kitchen was fitted with all mod cons ,even a dishwasher!!There is a sofa bed if you want to make use of it and a double bed in the main bedroom.It was quite and peacefull ,but as soon as you came out of the apartment you hit all the bars and restaurants ,so the best of both worlds.The owner Mr Keus was there to welcome us on arrival.Would definatley stay again in the Max Beer,excellent.

Very central, in a lively part of the town, and still, the appartement, located on a backyard, is very quiet and luminous. As a single traveller (and with not an illimited budget), I appreciated the opportunity of self catering that you do not get in a hotel. Would go back tomorrow if I could...

Very good location, between the Island of museums and Prenzlauer Berg. Very clean, quite large, very good equipment for the kitchen and bathroom. We very much appreciated this stay.

It is a very nice apartment with a spacious living room and kitchen complete with all essentials including microwave oven, fridge and dishwasher. The location is also good, about 10 minutes walk from the Alexanderplatz center. Although its close to the center it is very quiet and nothing to disturb your sleep. You can also request for late check out for a fee of 20 Euros.

Nothing really. Everything was good but it would have been nice to have at least a bar of soap in the bathroom.

Great location in a side street, close to public transport and in walking distance to some sites. You have some nice places to have meal, drink or shop at the door step. The appartment has basic but comfortable and modern equipment, you will have everything you need. It gives great independence if you are travelling as couple, group of friends or small family

The location was really convenient, and everything worked out really really easy.

There was a guy upstairs snoring really loud one night!

Location - very close to Alexanderplatz which means that several of Berlin's landmarks, including the Museumsinsel are walking distance.

Where to start? I regret staying at Max Beer for a couple of reasons. First, its really not good value for money -- its actually more expensive than other city centre hotels and this is not a hotel, but a flat in a residential block of flats. Second, while flat appeared clean (and one is required to pay 20euros for cleaning!), everything (towels, linens, pillows, sheets) smelled of cigarette smoke. Yuck! Third, because it is not a hotel, you have to time your arrival based on the schedule of the contact. I arrived at 4pm and the flat was not ready, and yet I wanted to leave at 1:30pm but they could not have the flexibility for that. Very poor. Finally, no kitchen basics like cooking oil, teas, etc., so one has to buy a bottle of oil, etc. which is ridiculous if you only want to cook for a 2 day stay. Go for a 3-star hotel, if I were you.

Ideale ligging om Berlijn te verkennen. Zeer schoon en ruim. Alle faciliteiten voor comfort zijn aanwezig zoals Wi-Fi, vaatwasser, digitale TV met DVD-speler, koelkast met diepvriesvak, föhn en strijkijzer, broodrooster en magnetron, bad en ja zelfs een wasmachine. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en de gastheer doet zeer zijn best het u naar de zin te maken. Service staat bij hem hoog in het vaandel. Kortom: een adres om aan te raden.

Geen klachten, alleen maar een groot compliment.

Zeer goede, nieuwe appartementen (4) op een prima locatie! Ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Rustig gelegen in een interessante centrumwijk van Berlijn op 3 minuten lopen van de Alexanderplatz en de Hackeschen Höfe. Prima bereikbaar vanaf luchthaven Tegel. Veel leuke winkeltjes in de directe omgeving. Bakkerij en supermarkt vlakbij. De mede-eigenaar, Johan Keus, is uitermate behulpzaam. Onze terugvlucht vertrok laat in de avond en we konden uitchecken zo laat we maar wilden. Geen enkel minpunt. Kortom: absoluut een aanrader!! We komen hier zeker terug.
