Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All you need for a basic hotel. Ideal location for nightlife. Was given possibly the smallest room in the hotel. Area was a bit run down but what do you expect for the back streets of reeperbhan.

It is reasonable in a fairly good spot. 15 minute walk to station. Main area of Reeperbahn a 6 minute walk, so position not too bad. Security system worked well. It has a reliable lift, and WIFI was good but not brilliant.

Good for its price. Clean room. Not far from the centre and several S an U bahn stations, it is a quiet place. You should try a breakfest at cafe May nearby! Nothing to complain about if you do no expect anything special.

The location was great. Close walk to the Reeperbahn, Habour and train stations. However far away enough to be on a quiet street. Feels safe too. Room was big and clean. Shower was great!! Very basic but the room has a nice modern simple feel. The room was a good size with a couch. However there were no double beds only 2 twin beds placed together. This was uncomfortable since I'm someone who rolls into the middle while sleeping. The mattresses are light weighted so they would split. There were no hair dryer but I borrowed from the reception. Just €10 deposit.

Good location, good size room, clean. There is nobody at the front desk until 15:00 everyday. Which can be very inconvenient. They also didn't answer my emails about an early check-in.

Great neighborhood if u wanted an escort. Bed was comfy. 1. When the hotel said Free Parking, they should have been more clear and said. Parking is free everywhere in the world if u can find it! Because that's what I had to do for two hours. It was street parking. They dont have their own Parkin lot. 2. Wi-fi. Was horrible. Had to sign an agreement that would allow the police to packet sniff my wifi. Was told "There was a evil man here". So they also blocked email port. Wifi speed was 3.8 download and .56 upload. My cell phone had better speeds.

Well my stay at Hotel 66 didn't go as planned...when I arrived there was a sign at the entrance saying the hotel is closed until further notice. Luckily there was also a map with directions to another nearby hotel, Hotel Commodore (a better hotel by the way), where me and my friend ended up staying (no extra charges). So I guess I like the fact that I paid for a 2* hotel and eventually stayed at a 3* hotel :)) , but leaving the joke aside, I really appreciated that this "situation" was really well handled and I got to enjoy every minute of my stay in Hamburg. They could have at least notify in advance that the hotel will be closed and that all reservations will be handled to Hotel Commodore. It's a pretty scary moment when you arrive tired with all your bags in front of the hotel only to find a big "closed" sign.

Close proximity to most city sights This hotel was supposed to be smoke free - the room stank of smoke - after complaining to the hotel guy - he just shrugged his shoulders and said it could not be helped. Staff are unhelpful - the hotel was locked on Sunday afternoon and could not access the hotel - the swipe key would not work. After pounding on the door (this is 4 pm in the afternoon), a hotel guest came and opened the door.

A great value for the money. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. My girlfriend and I did NOT at all enjoy having to walk down the Reeperbahn several times to find the street on which the hotel is located, but the hotel is both close enough to the Reeperbahn if you're into that scene, and yet also tucked far enough behind it to easily ignore it, where you'll find just around the corner cozy cafes and delightful Italian restaurants.

Nice location in St Pauli Nights are quiet - no noise Internet WiFi connection quality is medium to poor - Quite often unreliable. They should change the internet system and it would be almost perfect.

The staff at Hotel 66. Everyone who works here is very helpful and friendly. I couldn't ask for more. The location of the hotel is also superb. Walking distance to the Karo quarter, St. Pauli and the Schanzenstern quarter which are very vivid and colorful neighborhoods. Subways station is just a few minutes away and one could also walk to the harbor. I also slept quite well at the hotel and never heard another hotel guest when I was in my room. There was only one small thing that did bother a little. My room was next to the elevators and the noise from the elevator woke me up a few times in the middle of the night when other hotel guests came back late at night.

No pros only cons!
