Absolut valuta för pengarna, nära St Pauli-kvarteren med allt de har att erbjuda. the "free" internet service did not work on the second floor in the annex. We had to go down to the lobby to use internet on our laptop. |

For visiting St Pauli, the area and the football club, this is a great location in a quiet back street with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, you can't check in until 3pm. Bags can be left at the partner Hotel Commodore round the corner, but what I needed after an early flight into Hamburg was a lie down. |

The employees and breakfast. It was super loud, because of the students on floors directly above & below me. They were blasting their stereo, running, jumping & yelling in the hallways till 3.00am, plus they were loud and at breakast with no respect for others around them. |

The hotel was conviently located, and clean. The rooms were tiny and bland, the shower stuck to my skin, floor flooded, and the internet did not work in the room, |

I was travelling with my 2 14 year old daughters and luckily for us we were upgraded to the main hotel which was really nice. Reception isn't manned, greeted by 6 cleaners sitting around smoking. The surrounding area seedy, drunk men calling out to my daughters etc |

The room and the bathroom were clean. Nice view on a garden. Quiet. Good location : close to the port and far enough from the nightlife of St Pauli. The room was smelling cold tobacco. |

Very friendly staff, quite large clean rooms and a great location. Also when the toilet handle broke it was fixed within the hour. Very efficient. It was surprisingly quiet too as it was just minutes from the Reeperbhan, oh and very clean. Room rates very reasonable for what you get and where it is although didn't experience the breakfast (at 7. They have a sister hotel 5 mins away and at times the reception isn't manned and you have to go to the other hotel instead. I had to leave our room keys on the reception desk when signing out as no-one was there. In addition we witnessed several patrons arriving 'at the wrong time' and being confused as to what to do and where to go as no-one was on reception. |

Great Location, plenty of good cafes, bars and restaurants a short walk away but not actually in the middle of them so the street is relatively quiet, 15 minute walk to the harbour and Fishmarket. Clean room and a good shower with plenty of hot water. No musty smells as is often the case with lower priced hotels. Receptionist friendly and efficient. |

I liked the man on reception. He was a real character and the banter we had on arrival was great. He thought we were from "glow" and staying in hotel commodore. God knows where he got that from, especially when it was clear from our booking reference where we were from. He made up for it though by tenderly explaining where we could pick up girls. It would have been nice to have been introduced, in turn, to other girls staying there. Maybe a couple of cheeky swiss backbackers? |

It was quiet and very neat. The people at the reception were always eager to help me whenever I need their help. I have internet wireless most of the time. What I dont like is that the rooms got no phones to call the reception. |

The staff was very nice, the room was clean and the location was very good. Just minor things: My room wasn't finished when I arrived and the TV didn't work properly. |

Excellent services, spacy baths, very, very clean, extremely helpful staff, nice breakfast buffet and of course, excellent location in Sankt Pauli and with an array of bars/cafes and mini markets on the same actual street as the hotel. The only drawback was the unpleasantry of not having someone at the reception at the time of our arrival. A note on the door (which was in German, making me wonder what would one understand if one didn't actually speak it) indicated that we should walk to Commodore hotel and leave our luggage there, until the reception would open in 3.00pm. Quite a short distance actually, but still unnecessary. |
