Hotel 66  

The staff at Hotel 66. Everyone who works here is very helpful and friendly. I couldn't ask for more. The location of the hotel is also superb. Walking distance to the Karo quarter, St. Pauli and the Schanzenstern quarter which are very vivid and colorful neighborhoods. Subways station is just a few minutes away and one could also walk to the harbor. I also slept quite well at the hotel and never heard another hotel guest when I was in my room.

There was only one small thing that did bother a little. My room was next to the elevators and the noise from the elevator woke me up a few times in the middle of the night when other hotel guests came back late at night.

Central location. Free parking on the nearby streets (ask for the permission-form at the hotel-desk). Breakfast was great and the place (on the groundfloor inside the hotel) very nice. Good value for the price.

The bathrooms light switches off automatically, just that movement-sensor does not work properly and leaves you in the dark in the middle of the shower. The 3rd bed in a (3 bed-room) is the couch.

Provides excellent valure for the price. The family room was actually two rooms in our case, larger with double bed, and smaller with fold out couch. This, a pleasant surprise. Basic, clean accomodations.

Environ a bit dodgey looking- not unexpected for the locale, but up close, the graffitti and trash a bit more visceral then as imagined from reviews. Actually a few young couples with toddlers en regalia, in the am. So the neighborhood is apparently a passable solution for young couples starting out; the graffiti probably is "punk," nothing more sinister... Parking was as you can manage; for one night, the ride survived a block around the corner down the street, with the hotel provided dashboard "don't tow me" card. Felt lucky to find that spot, after three laps around. Travel without the car,you're styling for this location... All around, worked out well. Good room, respective price and location. The heart of St Pauli, a skip and a hop from the Reeperbahn, the Harbor walk, and nightlife. Sure, we'd do 66 again...

Clean quiet and near where we wanted to visit

Excellent Location. Basic but just what you need. Good english speaking staff. Couldnt really find a fault.

Affinity to city center and nearby metro station St. Paul. Близость центра города и рядом станция метро St. Paul

At night in the street it is very noisy. Ночью на улице много шума, под окнами отеля гуляют выпившие молодые люди.

Nice room, very comfortable beds, free wifi (ask for login in reception), free parking (get parking voucher at reception), quiet both nights even though it was friday/saturday. I think you get a very nice room here, considering the price. We skipped the 7.5 euro breakfast at the hotel, and had a fantastic brunch at "Bäcker" cafe, just a few hundres meters down the road (direction Reperbahn).

Proximity to city transport. Ease of location.

Lack of dedicated parking. Couple in next room smoking heavily even though it was a non-smoking room.

We asked for non-down pillows since my husband is allergic, and the staff immediately got us replacement pillows.

Reception desk was not staffed for about 6 hours when it was vital that I get the internet password for free wi-fi. (The night before I had received the password but it expires after 24 hours)

The place was perfect, our double room was pretty , big and clean. He toilett was freshly renewed. There was no soap in the shower and no hairdryer. We found surprisind that there was also a little kitchen corner at the entrance of the room.

The entrace / reception and the whole corridory and public room seems to need a restiling: they are kind of youth hostel, but the prices are not

Good position!!! The room is clean a large. The staff is friendly and kind. Good choice if you want to stay cheaply near Saint Pauli.

Rooms are clean, shower too. Hotel after renewal.

Hotel is very simple. No mirrow in the room, no electricity in the bathroom. Soap only in the shower, and we had to enter to the shower-cabine to get the soap and wash the hand. Internet is not fast. And the dictrict is bad - dirty, a lot of drinked young people...

Hotel liegt zentral zum hafen und city ist alles zu fuss schnell erreichbar. Die unterkunft ist einfach und schon älter ausgestattet, aber sehr sauber. Frühstück angemessen vom preis wars ok. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
