Good location, comfortable and clean enough
If you are foreign resident and don't know german, it will be so hard to understand woman on reception because she didn't know English.
The shower was ok
Always be wary of an owner who, before showing you the room, takes your money upfront, insisting on cash only, apparently because he doesn't have a machine. (How about getting one...) My complaints about this guesthouse are best summed up in my email to the owner where complained that -The bedding and pillows were not clean and smelt badly. -The sheet was old with holes. -The mattress cover was not clean -The towels smelt badly -The owner needs to buy new bedding and towels, then ensure that they are always properly washed on a very hot wash to stop them smelling. -The breakfast was very bad value at €5 each with a limited choice. -There were no carpets in the room, just a hard plastic floor. To date I haven't had a reply. My advice is to choose somewhere else, just anywhere else, but not here.
The central location near to Neustadt station
I only had a feather pillow which I had to move off the bed as it sets off hay fever
Very nice and perfectly clean rooms, friendly receptionist, quiet quarter and good location. Great option for budget travel
All is OK
Good location near Neustadt Bahnhof and within 5 minutes walk of Elbe riverbank stretch whic has great views of Dresden skyline. Quiet premises with good sized room and at a reasonable price.
No cleaning of the room at any stage during my 4 night stay; but I suppose they cater for truly independent travellers! A mini-fridge and electric kettle would have been a great addition to the premises.
* professional * done as agreed upon * simple
* didnt get to know the staff * in case something happened I had no one to relate to and ask for help
Inadmisible! No se lo recomendamos a nadie! We paid for a double room (with double bed) with private bathroom and we obtained a room with the bathroom outside the room in a hall were anyone who also lived there could see us (it was only "hidden" with a courtain). We also obtained a room with two little beds (instead of a double bed) and one of the beds was BROKEN. It was imposible to sleep there. We went to the reception and there was nobody, also nobody answered our emails or calls.. We slept two persons in a little bed of 80 cm because the other bed was completely broken. We were suposed to pay after the night, but we were forced to pay before going even to the hotel because if not, we couldn't receive the keys.. We are completely dissapointed with this hotel and with the people working there. We don't recomend this to anybody!!
Beds and bathrooms were clean. No noise at night. Acceptable walking distance to sights.
The surrounding area is depressing. It should be cleaned up. A stronger light bulb in the ceiling light would be appreciated, also a light above the sink, so one can see details when grooming.
The staff was very friendly and the room spacious and clean. In addition, it was great value for money. The accommodation is only a few steps away from the river Elbe and therefore within walking distance from the historic city centre. Dresden Neustadt train station is almost on the doorstep, and therefore it is really easy to get from A to B by public transport (train, bus, tram & taxi).
Near the center and railway station. Not expensive.
The payment document is of the form not valid for bookkeepers. Something like kettle should be in the room because no canteens working early enough could be found near hotel.
The place is not a hotel, more like an apartment you can rent. You get your own bathroom and a room with TV which was the cheapest I could find, so that is the biggest positive
Well depends on your expectations, I expected just a room for a night sleep so I was not disappointed.
The building itself is quite nice, it was very cool although outside was quite hot. And I appreciate the transformation from the old abandon building to the hotel very much. The staffs were quite friendly.
The description of "not far away from railway station" is just true with the "new city--neustadt" Bf, not the central railway station, you should make this clear when introduce it to other traveler. And I advice you to hire some good English speaker to better the introduction of the hotel. The direction instruction to your hotel wasn't quite clear, you'd better give a copy of the google map or anything like that, rather than the unclear words.
