Good hostel with private rooms located very close to the Berlin HBF. About ten minutes by foot. Also has bike rent, good for people that like bikes.

Everything is efficient, clean and ergonomic.

The staff is nice but not enough of them. Had problems being served at the bar. No one. Having sooo many students made the place noisy. At night , running in corridors and door banging. The lobby was always full so it was difficult to meet colleagues. Had to go elsewhere. I know of a hotel in Katowice, Poland, which has a part of it devoted to students and another to business travellers.

The breakfast was great, the staff were all very helpful, and I loved the fact that it was only a ten minute walk to Berlin's main train station!

suitable for young people only.Too noisy till 3-4 am in the morning. There are groups of children around 18 years who are drinking and screaming and laughing all night long. It's impossible to sleep or relax in this hotel.

Staff did not know about highlight in the city. They told me to ask information center.

Booking.com dosen't say that you'll be additionally charged when paying with credit card on site. The bank machine is there, but seems to be broken on purpose - rejects approved cards and the same time credit cards terminal works fine...

Look very pleasant. Not on the main roads and quiet. A lot of people.

Wireless Internet was not reachable in the room and I paid for it 5 EUR. Free wireless Internet in lobby was working a bit hard probably because of lot of connected people.

It was amazing value for our money and a great location- right around the corner from the main station.

The washing machine was out of order so we couldn't do our laundry.

I wanted to wash my stuff, I bought the detergent on reception, and I could't make the machine work. It started to wash but after 3 min stopped like the washing was done. The guy on reception advised me to try once again, but thre redult was the same. And that guy just told me:"looks like it doesnt work".and that's it.no money back, no technician, nothing. That was a bit upsetting

nearly 3 Eur service fee for paying with a debit card - REALLY? are you Ryanair guys ? I really didn't like the fact A&O Berlin Hauptbahnhof is also a hostel - therefore there was a lot of noise coming from the corridor;

Confusion over payment methods (Cash card not accepted)

Overall our stay was pretty good. The hotels offers great value for money. The room was specious. Break fast was ok for the price offered. one perticular thing which I like is that doors of bathroom and toilets can be opned from out side if your kids close it from inside (May be only for Family room). Walkable distance from main station makes it very good spot to stay.

I liked really well that you have the bathroom in the bedroom, so u share only with the ppl you actually share the room with! Big PLUS!!! I'll might come back just the upcoming weekend again. Thumb up if you wanna travel cheap but wont miss quality!

I didn't like that there is no devision between smoking and non smoking in the booking sheet. Even-though all rooms are non smoking rooms the smokers just stink naturally and me as a non smoker I've been a little bothered by that cold smokey smell.

There are two beds in a single room,it is not very comfortable.I Think a big bed is better than it.

I had to pay for Internet while there was a free wireless that I didn't know about

I was very pleased with the friendly attitude of the staff and their language capabilities. The rooms were very clean (much cleaner then previous hotels of this category I have been in), also a pleasant surprise.

Well there were no english channels on the TV. This would normaly not be an issue (as you travel somewhere not to watch TV), but in the moment of e.g. escallating palestine - israel crisis (or something similar) I would prefer english language news channel, but there is free wi-fi zone in the check-in area.
