Location, nice pool and spa, the Deluxe room was spacious

Wifi / internet not included in the room rate. In this day and age it should be a complimentary service for a 5 star hotel

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding - best selection I have come across in a long time.

Despite the rooms being enormous, the bathroom was very small and cramped and only had a single sink. Bad design choices.

Beautiful old building and great location for Eurogress. The food in the restaurant was very good. Service was excellent. It is relatively expensive. I think that free internet access would be make up for that.

The Hotel was excellent and so were the staff

The hotel was completely ruined with the smell of smoke, as smoking is allowed in all the areas of the hotel. (Even if you booked a non smoking room, it is highly likely that also will smell) what a pity for such a great hotel to have this stench throughout. The owner must smoke?

Professional, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent spa with superb indoor pool. Wonderfully comfortable bed.

Some rooms a little dark with small windows facing on to inner courtyards. Very basic tv for this standard of hotel.

The hotel is in a green and pleasant setting even though closely and conveniently situated to the city centre. The rooms were very spacious and extremely comfortable and it has managed to preserve an old world charm and relaxed ambience so often lost in today's high tech, fast paced lifestyle.

Accessing and exiting the hotel from the busy road is a bit of a nightmare.

The spacious and clean rooms. The superb bathroom. The nice staff. The wide spa with a beautiful swimming pool. The position, next to the centre and the carolus thermen. The private parking.

In the rooms there wasn't a boiler for tea and coffee. The swimming pool hadn't jacuzzi...but it's nothing in comparaison of the whole situation!

The hotel was excellent and I will definitely make this my number one choice when I visit Aachen that I do frequently.

This was an excellent hotel experience. The staff were friendly and prompt, and the room was clean and nicely decorated with a fully equipped bathroom/toilet. The pool and spa area were lovely--while we did not have any special treatments done, we utilized the pool a good bit for a one-night stay. The hotel was accommodating and very comfortable for our family of three. I highly recommend the hotel and would happily stay again if our travels take us back to Aachen... There is also a fabulous (pricey though) restaurant in the hotel--the food was most delicious and the service was excellent... The hotel is in a nice location, only a ten minute walk to the town center.
