Very centrally located with easy 5 min walk from central railway station. Acceptable accommodation with small shower / WC

Hard to connect WiFi, slow and unreliable. No Air Con or fan in the room, opening windows provided some ventilation.

The staff, to a person, was amazingly helpful when I had problems. I sincerely thank them all.

I personally like firm pillows (the hotel's were very soft). I encourage the hotel to have some available for guests who prefer them. Also, I would have preferred a full-bed comforter for my full bed rather than the single-bed comforter that was on it. However, these were very minor concerns.

it is close to the centre and breakfast is realy fine.

stairs are realy high and as there is no elevator its realy dificult to climb to 4th floor where my room was. Also the toilet was a bit problematic.

Breakfast is good.. Sweets and water at the day of arrival are complimentary for everyone.

This hotel has only 2 stars.. Very old furniture and bathroom facilities, the money charged is not worth a 2 star hotel..

Great value for the money. Good location for public transport travel and plenty of nice restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Helpful staff.

furniture was in a very bad condition. bathroom was very dirty. the bad was like horror, we slept very very bad. you should book this hotel only if there is nowhere else to go!

The only thing I liked was the location. And that's it!!!!

No elevator , so we got to lift heavy suitcases up to the forth floor, room was really poor, very old cavroline on the floor, very cold bathroom, quite poor breakfast. At hotel website everything looked so great but in real the hotel was really poor and we wouldn't ever choose it !!!!!

Really nice comfy hotel...there is no lift, as it is an old building, a bit diffucult if u have a lot of stuff with you...however very clean and friendly staff ... breakfast was awsome tooo...ideal for a day travel,shopping

As a whole everything in hotel is good. The fine location, isn't far from the center and near the station. Excellent price. Every day cleaning. I confused the size of rooms a little, but also it is unimportant if all the time to walk.

Hotel has been placed in really good place of the city - in the true middle of it. Good breakfast in the morning will give you force for beginning of the day

Be careful - hotel has no elevator, but it has 4 floor of rooms. This can be not comfortable at the end of your travel day. Also, rooms have thin walls - be patient and quiet in the night (^_-)

Nothing other than the location. Breakfast was good

The beer bottle on the table and floor in reception. The worn, stained carpet in the room that also had burn marks on it. Carpet was dirty and had not been vacuumed. The room was worn out, heating did not work and there was mould throughout the shower unit. The room was not fit for for being let out

The hotel has a perfect location, no even need to rake a taxi from a railway or a bus station. It's very neat and clean, and serves amazing breakfast. I'd go there again!

A guy on reception didn't know English or didn't know a city too well. When I asked him how to get to Planetarium - he sent me in a totally wrong direction. Also one bad thing - the city maps and tour guides are all in German. Come on, not all the world speak it!))

Good location

The hotel is very old, the room booked by internet is poor furnished and located on the 4th floor (there is no elevator only perpendicular staircase), they offer the best rooms for direct clients and say that hotel is full, when I saw how they offer the room on the 2nd floor to another client I insisted on room changing and they did that. Also you should know if you book the room by internet the price is more expensive!!

It's location!!!!

It did not look the same as it did on line if they had put up the correct pictures I would have never booked it. We were on the fourth floor and there was no lift and my husband has mobility problems. If we were staying more than 1 night I certainly would have cancelled my booking upon seeing the hotel. The rooms were small and needed updating the carpets were worn and not clean. Hamburg is a lovely city but the hotel was very disapointing and this view was shared by all 5 in our party.

Everything was ok, generally room is clean, but there are many traces on the walls and carpet in the room, balcony has such a mist of olderness:)
