Good breakfast, nice personnel in the breakfast room. Clean reception area. Free internet. Good beds in the small room. Creaking stairs, thin walls and doors, room so small it was difficult to place the few pieces of furniture: you had to walk through the room to hang up your coat anywhere. Luckily we didn´t have a lot of luggage and it was not winter..Ladies at the reception not polite. |

It was within walking distance from the main train station but also very close to the harbour and the city center. A bit compact, but can't complain for the price/location. |

I stayed at a small room at the 2a floor. The room was clean, and the bathroom ok. For the money it was a good deal, and it's really close to the central station. If you like comfort, maybe this is not your hotel, but if you just want a bed to sleep for a good price, go for it! The breakfast was also simple, but ok. At one time the water in the shower was not very hot, but just one time. |

Convenient for central station but quiet location, friendly staff, very reasonable room rate, breakfast included, safe for valuables provided in room. A little cold at night, outside bed. |

Very good hotel by all the parameters. They really have free wi-fi with a nice speed (was enough for a good skype video conversation). The breakfast was good too: everything that you need in the morning and more. The displacement in Hamburg is ideal. The hotel is behind one of the most expensive hotels in Hamburg. It is nearby (5 min) central railway station, but not to the east of it (where the most of the hotels are). The district to the east of the railway station is kinda unfriendly: Hamburg junkies, gays and so on. My German friend said to me that I have booked a really great hotel in term of cost, included services and displacement. The only disadvantage is the guy that works at night shifts: he speaks english badly and was unfriendly Fire the guy that works on night shifts. |

The hotel is near the main station and the city downtown. It's position allows to explore the main buildings of the city, moreover it is quite easy to find good places where eat. Breakfast included in the price and wide possibility of choices. |

The breakfast was ok and the fact that was quite close to the city centre around 15 mins walking distance, clean room . The picture of the room presented on the site is nothing like the one we stayed in, stained carpet on the floor, very small bathroom with broken shower and a very old sliding door that didn't close properly and the fact that i requested a non smoking room and the room smelled very bad like cigarettes plus the smell of smoke that came from the other rooms in our's.Another down point was the fact that at 8 o'clock on a Sunday morning the cleaning woman knocked at our door insistent and when i opened she just said something in German and left. |

The room was clean and very light with 2 big windows that opened. The clerk at the desk at check in was extremely helpful. Be aware that this hotel has 4 floors and no elevator. Our room on the 4th floor required over 100 stairsteps. |

You can walk from Hanburg Hbf. and take a walk around to Alster. As there is under construction outside,it is noisy while taking breakfast. |

it was very accesible in terms of our needs, it would have been nice to have some more information available in the hotel on tours etc and what hamburg has to offer and in english.. .. it was worn in areas, however it depends entirely on each travellers needs and expectations for their visit |

This hotel is quite near to the Central Station. The rooms are clean. The buffet breakfast is generous. I chose this hotel because of the free internet connection. I did not try try the wi-fi connection, but the only computer available for guests was not working properly |

Charming old building. The price was incredible - I got an internet deal for 29€, and it was worth much more. Front desk clerk was as friendly and helpful as any in a five star hotel. Hardly any non-smoking rooms. I had to ask for a room that didnt smell like an ash tray. Breakfast service lacking, but for the price absolutely fine, and (most important for many) the coffee was scrumptous. |

The location, QUIET although only about 5 mins walk from the Hbf, the breakfast (good spread of food) - VERY clean rooms and clean breakfast area. The door from the landing out to the stairwell - perhaps this could be closed, on a quiet hydraulic hinge - as when other travellers came down the stairs in the mornings, with their suitcases - it really thumps through the hotel. And I was on 1st floor and heard all of this. |
