The hotel is near the zoo in the old East Germany. The hotel is also close to the U-Bahn. By subway you are within 15 minutes on the Alexanderplatz. Alexanderplatz is a large station where you could go in any direction. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Also useful is the free parking for the hotel. I had a 1-person room on the top floor. This I had a great view over Berlin. I did not have breakfast included so I have no experience with that. The room was somewhat dated. And it can, especially on the top floor, get very hot. The existing air conditioner works but moderate.

I liked only location near metro station which goes stright to the city center. The equipment of the room looked used and I didn't feel there comfortable. It's a old panel building and I don't think that they deserves 4 stars because I have seen better 3 stars hotels.

It is a friendly place with excellent facilities. Staff are warm and friendly and helpful. A great place to stay. Tv is restricted in terms of language- English was only available in the News chanels. Rather far from the main tourist locations although close to the Underground. I was a bit worried about insecurity at night but that could be anywhere. The meals can be repetitive with the same meal menu everyday. Bit tiring to eat the same thing for a whole week.

I was dissapointed in one important thing for I always enjoyed the spa this time I did not use it on principle for they wanted 5 euros extra from me so a bit of a let down there another one was the hotel for my second night booked out and I had to stay elsewhere

clean and large room with snow white towels and sheets.Free parking.Very good breakfast with a large variety of food and fresh fruits.Cheap minibar.Good conection to city center by metro. The station is 200 m away. About 20 to 25 euros by taxi at the checkpoint Charlie or the Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz The internet is not free.When we arrived we asked a gentleman at the reception how to get to the Charlottenburg castle. The next day we asked a lady about that. None of them gave us the correct directions

Het ontbijtbuffet vonden we het beste. Heel veel keuze aan verse dingen. De check in en check out verliep zeer vlot. Voor een 4* hotel vonden we de kamer eerst wat tegenvallen, maar uiteindelijk was alles aanwezig wat moest aanwezig zijn. Hotel ligt naas Tierpark (buiten het centrum) en we dachten dat het Tiergarden was (centrum) maar 1 metrorit verder waren we al in het centrum.
