Good for transport.
Hotel near to metro, good breakfast, clean room.
Hotel staff should knock before going straight to the room. Also we asked for double bed, but we were given to separate mattresses
Modest hotel with cozy rooms. breakfast was good, fresh and good variety. rooms were clean. wifi worked in the hotel. really close to the public transport. 15 minute ride to tegel airport
walls are very thin. could hear people walking upstairs and downstairs in the corridor which was far from our room. could hear everything! No Shampoo in the bathrooms, only soap. Not all members of the staff could speak English or even German well so that was a little bit difficult
The breakfast was included and the Highlight of the stay.
The hotel looked like a construction zone - with paint smell in the room and dirt and dust in the hallways. Trying to get up the level 4 with two heavy suitcases was the next challenge: 1 set of stairs up, into the small elevator to the next stop, then 1 set of stairs down to the hallway of the room. There were only the basics covered in the room, no soap, 2 single packs of shampoo, the phone was not working etc. The room was small and not really clean. The furniture was worse then IKEA - overall one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I would never stay there again.
Location is good. Breakfast was not bad.
Sound-proofing：Too noise in the morning when customers check-out. Staff: Why your staffs knocked my door four times 8 am. to 9.30 am.?
Didnt quite know what to expect as we had stayed at many hotels in Berlin and had yet to find one that matched the advertising. This one did to a certain extent. They were decorating which we understand as it is the low season and we accepted that We were there visiting family for Xmas and only used Hotel for sleeping. Some of the previous reviewers were scathing with there comments about the staff. We found them helpful, extremely friendly from the reception, painters, cleaners but the most welcoming was the night porter from Riga.
Large room in gorgeous Altbau (old) building. Kackelofen in the hall (this is the old style of german heating system - great to see an example of it). Free wifi. Better than expected breakfast included in price. Friendly staff. Everything clean if not a bit basic - but you can't expect more at this price! Great value for money.
Bed was for me too soft. Location next to Charlottenburg station is very handy but it isn't the best area of town. I wouldn't want to go as a single woman but fine for a couple or family.
convenient location, good breakfast.
disgusting wi fi, not comfortable lift, very cramped bathroom.
first day the heating and warm water were off I had problems with wifi as well the room is very small the personel especially in the breakfast room is not very kind
Great location. Very accomodating staff. Great breakfast
LOCATION FOR SCHOENEFELD AIRPORT, CITY CENTRE, WEST OF CITY SIGHTS AND THE VENUE FOR MY JUDO TOURNAMENT WASS EXCELLENT
I got quite big room...it's very nice, clean and comfartable...easy and fast to go to get bus, and the other transportation. Breakfast and wifi is OK for me...
They don't have LIFT from 1st to my room...So when I bring 3 big bags, it was very tired cause I need to bring it with my hand.... So I'll only recommend this hotel ONLY FOR the people who didn't bring much luggage or not to heavy.
Big room, with small kitchen (fridge, cooker and kettle is a BIG plus). Nice breakfast included in the price. In general pretty nice hotel.
2 of 3 beds were creaking. One of the doors in shower cabin were skewed.
Location near to all modes of transport x taxis as well we're fairly inexpensive x staff very helpful
I like the staff and the location.
I don't like my pillow.
The spot was excellent, very near Tegel Intern. Airport and close to bus stop and Underround station for moving around. The price also during week days was reasonable
The entrance of the hotel was poor and the furniture were worn-out
You get a real value for your money.
BREAKFAST WAS OK.
THE TEAM DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. HOTEL SUPER OLD AND WITH POOR MAINTENANCE, THE SMELL OF ROOMS AND THE RECEPTION WAS NOT OF A CLEAN PLACE, MY FATHER HAD TO TAKE SHOWER IN MY ROOM BECAUSE HIS SHOWER WAS BROKEN.THENLIFT WAS NOISY BALL THE NIGHT. I COULD NOT SLEEP AT ALL.
Staff where really nice
WiFi was poor at my room
location near the u- s station, shopping, room is ok and breakfast is good
Comfortable place, staff helpful. 2nd time staying, this time the single room was quite large. Bus to Tegel is right outside on the main street. Breakfast good.
Please note I have already submitted a report on Abendstern, as I had separate bookings. Please refer to my previous comments. As I said, very convenient regards public transport.
Front rooms facing street were noisy
This basic hotel suited our needs perfectly.
Breakfast is good. You have many options. The rooms are small but clean. Really great location.
Some of the people are rude and they doesn't make the effort to try to understand you in any other language than German. You have wifi only for 1 item.
So near to Stuttgartner U-bahn. And to shops with bus connections. Staff were helpful and friendly. Don.t be deterred by street appearance. Rooms are fine inside, mine was excelent with high ceilings. Hotel is very busy and popular
If in front rooms, noise from street and trains. Back rooms fine.
