The service and food were good at the resturant. People at the front desk were friendly and spoke good English. Parking was little confusing at first. It was explained after I checked- in but I still had to move my car. The elevators seemed old and a bit 'clunky' but worked fine. The resturant and hotel appear to be different entities so you have to pay separate for your meal.

Large room, quiet, clean, elevator, good breakfast. Did not change our towels or clean our room even though we were there two nights - don't know why.

Very polite reception staff! 10 Euros charge for my (big) dog! Very dirty toilett sit! Was really impossible to use it before cleaning it! Old furniture, poor decoration made me feel unconfortable in the room. (I got the "business" packet, lived in an apartment). Not enough parking places. I payed the business packet and got internet just for 8 hours. It was not enough till next day! Very poor breakfast. Breakfast staff rude. I was asked 3 times about my room number, never though if I wanted even milk with my coffee! They couldn't wait till the breakfast time was over, so the staff started eating! They started picking things away 15 minutes before the time...

Achat was a wonderful experience. The staff was very professional and helpful and everybody at the front desk spoke very good English, which made communication easy since my German isn't very good yet. Parking was very ample, and the hotel services were very extensive. There appeared to be a really nice spa available that I am considering coming back for just to relax for a weekend; the hotel also had a masseuse on the property. The restaurant was amazing, I have never had such a gourmet meal for such an affordable price. The rooms were also very spacious for a German hotel; they were comparable to American hotel room standards (We booked a double). This is definitely one of the best values for a hotel room I've seen anywhere. I had trouble sleeping on the bed, and woke up feeling achy. My traveling companion described the bed as "sleeping on Angel's Wings" though. My standards for beds are extremely high as I'm used to a Tempurpedic. Sound carries through the hallway and into the rooms as well, allowing you to hear other guests as they return from the bars and clubs. The town of Zwickau is a rather depressed town and not recommended for foreigners to explore, especially Westerners because it used to be an East German town that was very prosperous before the wall came down.

Wir nutzen gern dieses Hotel da es recht Zentrumsnah liegt Es ist uns zum zweitem Mal passiert, dass wir die Zimmer ohne Frühstück gebucht haben, uns dieses aber in Rechnung gestellt wurde. So etwas sollte nicht passieren. Zumal wir darauf hingewiesen haben. WLAN war im Internet für die Zimmer angegeben, ist aber nur in der Lobby verfügbar. Als Frau erwarte ich im Bad einen Kosmetikspiegel.

De kamer was erg groot, en dat voor weinig geld. Ook had ik eigenlijk 2 nachten geboekt, maar doordat ik vertraging had was ik er maar voor 1 nacht. De eerste nacht hoefde ik niet te betalen, terwijl ik dat wel gereserveerd had. Voordelig dus! Alleen het douchegordijn rook een beetje naar schimmel. Voor de rest was alles goed.

Morgens beim Frühstück wurde ein Gast zurecht gewiesen, weil dieser sich zwei Brötchen zum mitnehmen geschmiert hat und zwar so laut das alle anderen Gäste dies auch mitbekommen haben. Das wäre nicht erlaubt und eigentlich müsste er die Brötchen bezahlen, worauf die Bedienung aber nicht bestanden hat, daher hätte sie sich diese Ansage auch sparen können. Ich weiß nicht ob man wegen vielleicht 2 Euro einen Gast so vergrault, dass er nicht wieder kommt.

Da der Veranstaltungsort gleich neben dem Hotel liegt, bot es sich an, im ACHAT zu übernachten. Auch bei zukünftigen Reisen nach Zwickau ist das eine Option, da die Verbindung in die Innenstadt gut ist und man diese schnell erreicht.

Zu wenige Handtuchhaken im Bad für zwei Personen. Im Gegensatz zum Einzelzimmer im Doppelzimmer kein Wasserkocher, Teebeutel etc. vorhanden.
