This hotel offers rooms with a large flat-screen TV as well as a coffee/tea maker. It is in the centre of Bochum, 400 metres from the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum and Underground Station. The acora Hotel und Wohnen Bochum welcomes guests with a drink upon arrival. Guests can also use the hotel’s fitness room for free. The acora Bochum's Fässle restaurant prepares a large breakfast buffet each morning. In the evening, regional specialities as well as dishes from around the world are served here. From the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Underground Station, there is a direct link to Bochum University and the Schalke Arena in Gelsenkirchen. Excellent Staff, not a bad restaurant, Good secure parking, allowing a trailer, uhhhh nothing really..... I guess free beer and dancing girls would have been good ;)

Great Location and easy to walk to the city center, do shopping and get food. Bathroom shower curtain was to short and so water got all over the bathroom floor and the shower was small, ie curtain would stick to you if you moved around in the shower.

The hotel is located near the U35 and so it was easy to go to Rurh University. It was also located near a grocery store (Kaufpark). This comment does not regard the hotel per se, but be advised that everything is closed on Sunday and that it is very diffucult to find something to eat after 17h00.

- guter Service - interessante Zimmeraufteilung - Nähe zu Innenstadt und anderen Reisezielen - Möglichkeit der "Küchennutzung" - quietschende Betten - Raumlüftung (es war nachts zu warm "unterm Dach", aber teils zu laut zum Fenster öffnen)

Das Frühstück ist mangelhaft. Das komplette Büfett ist bereit gegen 9:30 Uhr leer gewesen und wurde nur sehr langsam aufgefüllt. Das Personal war komplett überfordert. Kaffee gab es am Ende des Frühstücks.

Service , Früstück Büffet war gut. Das Zimmer lag an der Hauptstr, schlechter Schallschutz. Zu laut bei nacht und geschlossenen Fenstern. Die Matrazen waren zu weich.
