Great location - the hotel is near the S-Bahn station Charlottenburg, just 2 minutes walking. The bus station for airport Tegel stops right by the hotel (109 bus). Its a quite hotel so you can peacefully rest after sightseeing. The breakfast is also good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a shared bathroom but it was not crowded and it was clean. Also in the room was a washbasin which is also nice. I forgot my hairdryer so I asked for one on the reception and they kindly borrowed it to me. There is also free wifi in the hotel.
The water under the shower keeps switching from cold to hot constantly
It's been always very pleasnt stay in the same room for many times, as the hotel owner always accepts my request for it. It's just like my home in Berlin, as they say there's no place like home!
It's been always very quiet day and night when I'm in my room, though it depends on the neighbours.
- close to subway (U2 12, U7 5min.) - very nice neighborhood - lots of dinner places (very good Asian cuisine) - 5-10min. to shopping mall/grocery - quite fast Wi-fi internet - good price when comparing to other places - walking distance (15min.) from ZOB - bus station - friendly staff - quiet place, easy to fall asleep after day of sightseeing - good for young couples that spend the day outside and come back just for the night
- same breakfast every day (no fruits, only couple of veggies) - although rooms are quite clean, you can feel that old-rusty smell - if you get a room without the toilet, the one which is outside is not to spacious - water under the shower keeps switching from cold to hot constantly
Location was good, bed was comfy, and I appreciated the fact that hotel was set back from street in a courtyard
coffee was awful, and breakfast was very borning, the set up was a bit weird inasmuch as one had to leave the building and go through various doors to get to one's room. The stairwell was old and badly lit, so one had the sense of being in the German of 40/50 years ago. Staff could not be described as welcoming!
Excellent breakfast, helpful staff, great location
Access to facilities.
Great breakfast but needs to be diversified a bit !
Location Price Near the airport (tegel)
Smell in the bathroom (old building pipes) Neighborhood
common WC and bathroom
The room is not next to the street, so it's quiet.
The soundproofing of the room is not good.
Perfect location near S-Bahn station, nice room, good breakfast, good value for money.
Problems with hot water. The temperature of hot water was oscillating between very hot and very cold within few seconds.
Good location. Excellent breakfast. Quite big, clean room.
We stayed 7 nights at the hotel Adam. Everything was fine, the hotel is situated in a good location and quiet: tram station (109) is in front of the hotel and at 100 meters is the S Bahn station Charlottenburg. Nearby there is the subway stations Wilmesdorfer Str. (U7) and Bismarckstr. (U7, U2) from here you can easily reach the city center. Staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable, with private bathroom, TV and Wifi. The bathroom is clean and are cleaned every day. Breakfast is varied and tasty, including both Breakfast buffet continental but and Breakfast English buffet. Price - quality ratio is very good. I recommend this hotel for those who are not very demanding.
I have nothing to comment
As we don't pass by the reception, I really appreciated being free to go and come, holding the room keys during the whole stay. The breakfast is very good. The ladies show a real hospitality. You can find just nearby many good and chic restaurants open till late in the night.
Fast Wi-fi, good location, very good and varied breakfast.
very spartan hotel. Dark corridors and small shower room. No facilities.
Good location, good basic accommodation and value for money in West Berlin
Nice little hotel , no too far from the ""in place"". The receptionist is very good. The breakfast is good too. All in all very happy staying in this hotel.
Location is great, with the train & subway in close proximity.
No lift. Other similar places in the area I've stayed at had lifts. Receptionist, while pleasant, had a poor command of english. Breakfast was same 4 days straight.
staff, location and price
as a couple we didn't enjoy to have two single beds instead of a double.
WiFi is the best I've had during my trip to Germany (and free). Staff is very polite and welcoming. Breakfast is also awesome - bread, eggs, cheeses, sausages, jams - whatever you want. Again, the best I've had in Germany. Location is perfect - Charlottenburg tram stop and Berlin ZOB are in 2 and 15 minutes walking distance respectively, so that getting to the city center is really fast. Awesome value for money!
The toilet was leaking a bit in a peculiar way (only when flushing). Room was quite small and not so quiet. The pillow was nice, but not hypoallergenic (not for those allergic to feathers).
Clean rooms and sheets. Spacious room (double twin w/private bathroom). A few steps from Charlottenburg S station (12 minutes to Hauptbahnhof Station). Very good breakfast (buffet). Friendly staff (English spoken). Quiet rooms. Spacious bathroom (with tub). Wi-fi woks good in my room (second floor). A lot of bars, coffee shops, restaurants in the area. Access 24 hrs to facility. Good value for my money.
No elevator. It's a basic hotel, don't expect something fancy. The corridors to my room were very dark (light sensors are not very reactive); it felt a little creepy. Room felt a little bit cold (central heating system). Furniture looks outdated. Staff leaves at night. You get one key set which I found complicated because you need it to lock/unlock the room, to open floor access and the street access. So, if you go out and your friend wants to stay in the room there are two options: leave your friend locked in the room or ask your friend to go out and open the street or floor door when you arrive ..the problem could be if your friend fall asleep (that's exactly what happened to me once and had to wait one hour on the street at night). It's very difficult to find a parking spot. Kaiser-Friedrich-Strasse does not look fancy but the street on the back (Windscheidstrasse) is very hipster and cool. Anyway, Berlin is pretty safe. I had to wait a few minutes to get hot water in the tub. There is no wi-fi signal in the breakfast salon. :P There are no English spoken channels on TV. If you don't mind the cons, overall it's a good value for your money considering the price of other hotels in the area.

The location is perfect. It's beside the 109 bus station from the Berlin Tegel airport, and very close to Charlottenburg Bhf which is convenient to the major sight view and Potsdam. The breakfast is various and tastes good.
wi-fi worked well, excellent location, good breakfast included, they gave us a better room than originally planned since we stayed for so long so was very nice of them, clean
shower was either too hot or too cold and was very uncomfortable to try to switch the temperature back to normal all the time, didn't speak much english
lots of vegetarian options for breakfast, good location
