The staff was superior. I will go back to berlin and stay at the Hotel, Great neighborhood and location.
Nothing at all
Spacious room for major city; nicely decorated and appointed spaces; large, modern bathroom; easy access to all forms of public transportation; many cafes and restaurants nearby.
Limited selection at breakfast compared to similar hotels in Germany
Friendly staff, spacious rooms, clean
Pillows were a bit soft
The hotel was very clean and the reception staff were very helpful. The breakfast for 9 euros was one of the best we have had. It was a lovely weekend and the weather was also great. The location was great in the old East Berlin close to the main sites, also plenty of good restaurants within walking distance
Walked to all the major attractions from the hotel. Room and bathroom were a good size, clean, quiet. Would highly recommend this hotel.
shower was wonderful! room was good size.
the internet NEVER worked!
The hotel was perfect, and the location was in a great area of the city. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very accomodating. When I return to Berlin, I would deffinitly stay there again.
Very helpful staff, off road parking, good breakfast. Everywhere within walking distance. Very pleased.
- staff excellent, friendly, yet professional (one can see that they are a great team, well managed, well oiled and happy) - Very clean hotel with great service - great location - good value for money - great breakfast
I seriously cannot think of anything I didn't like.
The hotel staff were wonderful. Sandra was the best - friendly, bright, knowledgeable, and accommodating - even calling 5 restaurants for us in one night - we needed a restaurant that would take a credit card. She had great suggestions for every detail.
The hotel was too far from some of the sites; however, there were some great restaurants in the area. We definitely got our exercise.
Great staff Good location Quiet resential area, with many restaurants and shops nearby Nice amenities and details in room
A bit overpriced ( breakfast should be part of the rates at this price level), but all was very clear when booking so not a surprise.
Excellent location close to the subway station and just a few minutes from the joining point for the excellent Insider walking tours of Berlin. This small hotel oozes elegance and class. The good sized room was very smart, with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was of the highest quality. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the whole of the city is easily accessible via the metro. Berlin was the middle stop of 3 for us on a short European tour (Amsterdam and Copenhagen were the other two cities) and the accommodation here was not only the least expensive but also easily the best. It's definitely a little gem.
Quiet street, just off main road fromBerlin Hbh and to the museum island. U bahn and S bahn stations just minutes of walking away . Many cafes and funky shops nearby. great restaurants within walking distance. light and spacious room, great WiFi, comfortable bed.quick lift! very helpful staff. Tegel airport 16 mins by taxi.
wi-fi does not function on the room.
Excellent location in the city, within walking distance of museum island and subway station. Very good breakfast. Many good places to eat at nearby.
On the fifth floor wifi was a bit spotty and slow.
Booked for a couple of nights, ended up staying five nights. Great staff - very friendly, perfect english, helpful with travel tips. Big room at back of hotel which was quiet on all by Saturday night when some neighbours had a little party (but finished up just before midnight). Great location just 5 minutes walk from great cafes, bars and restaurants and 5 minutes from subway to get to other parts of Berlin (bus stop right out the front too). Hotel hires bikes, which we rented for a day and they were in good condition. We were sad when we had to leave Adelante and will return again. Highly recommend.
The staff were very welcoming and could speak English. We were given an upgrade on arrival. They advised us on venues to eat out and the route for our return journey to the airport. The room was very comfortable and so neat and clean. The Comfortable Doubleroom faced onto a very quiet courtyard.Air conditioning was a major plus as the weather was really warm during our visit to Berlin. The location was in a quiet area but very accessible to tram, u-bahn and s-bahn. The TV Tower and the Mosque could be seen from the corner of the street. We got great value for our stay in this lovely boutique hotel. Would return :)
Location. Very clean.
wifi had occasional disruptions.
Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. The room we stayed in was very spacious, and bright.
No conditioner. I felt the towels and bedding had a strange smell, which I assume was the detergent.
- Location - Staff helpful - Bicycle rental - A/C worked well in hot weather (after initial glitch) - Breakfast good with large coffee (breads and cheeses good but not as varied or wonderful as a previous hotel in Berlin that I stayed at and mediocre muesli when there are many better available in Berlin)
- Internet (I'm told it's true for all hotels in the area). It does work adequately but occasionally erratic and slow in the rooms
Staff were friendly. Rooms were nice and ben linens were of a very good quality. Pillows were nice and not lumpy. Breakfast area is pleasant and choice of foods good. There is parking but only for about 5 vehicles but the cost at 12 euros is lower than many other places.
Wifi coverage was weak - in our room we had to stand by the door in order to get adequate reception. Our double bed was two singles pushed together with 2 single quilts on top. This is apparently quite common in Germany. Upon check out the staff were not able to take away the tax that is only applied to tourists and not business travellers. Only a small amount but irritating nonetheless.
We loved this gem just in the section near Torstrasse and a short stroll past cafés and shops to the Berlin Wall memorial. The busy Main Street of Fredreichstrasse was very close. In fact we walked everywhere, even out to the larger Berlin Wall examples on the river. The hotel was very close to bakery, coffee places. And nice restaurants and bars. The actual hotel served a beautiful breakfast in classy and peaceful surroundings. The brilliant staff at the front desk printed my boarding passes for me, called a cab to the airport and advised on a range of things. Our room on the fifth floor overlooked the tree lined street and our ample seating in our room allowed us to sit back, relax in the pleasant room after a hard day's walking. Wifi was excellent, there was an I room safe and the bathroom rain shower was fabulous at the end of the day. The room had an iron and board and plenty of room to spread out. For a few extra dollars you could have a quieter room overlooking the green courtyard. We loved the street view. There were bikes to hire and this would be a quicker way to see the sights as everyone rides in Berlin. The taxi to the Tegel airport was just on 20euros each way. There was a good little fridge ( mini bar) which we used for our wine and beer we bought from the grocery store around the corner. There was little tourist traffic and locals on their way about their days, but literally 500m down around the corner were the magic mile of shopping. We loved it and the cool music playing at breakfast.
Nothing to say here- all good
Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, walking distance to train station, friendly staff, hotel located on a quiet street.
