Det legendariske, 5-stjernede Hotel Adlon er indbegrebet af luksuriøs indkvartering. Hotellet ligger i Berlins bydel, Mitte, ved siden af Brandenburger Tor. Helt igennem fremragende! Service, værelser, beliggenhed, morgenmad og ikke mindst restauranter helt i top. Fri adgang til god natklub bag hotellet.

The hotel and service was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. I think my best hotel experience so far! Some items a bit too pricy - i.e. 12 euros for a bottle of sparkling water. In this time and age, wireless internet should be available for free in the hotel lobby and the rooms - this was not the case. Our bed had two separate mattresses - I would have preferred one, large mattress in a king size bed

From the 'grandeur', though it needs some refurbishing.Wonderfull room and perfect location. Some remarks for this 5-star hotel: due to late flight-arrival we got in the hotel around midnight. There was nobody anymore to help us with the luguage to the room,which was quite far from reception; the quality of the food in the restaurant was certainly not according the price; there was a mistake in the bill; leaving we had to arrange our taxi ourselves

Westayed in the Adlon in September and were so happy with our stay, it was excellent. At the weekend when we stayed we were so dissapointed, service was really not that good and the breakfast that we thorougly enjoyed last time was not good, staff didnt seem to know what they were doing. Cutlery dirty, hot food not refilled, we had to constantly ask for drinks and for plates to be cleared away. Our room wasnt tidied at night like last time. For the price we paid we were quite angry and very dissapointed. Reception staff very friendly. Cant say anything else after this visit.

Staff attitude. Outrageous prices for service that is just a little better than the rest, no free Internet, crowded busy lobby, terrible showers, the building is overdue for renovations.

Perfect location, great decoration, great lobby bar with piano music, reasonable price for 5 star in europe. Terrible bed - the king size bed is in fact two single bed put together, I always fall at the middle. The quilt is not a king size one - two single bed size quilt put together, don't know why. The bed is not as comfortable as Sofitel. No coffee machine, no water boiler, therefore no hot water or coffee available in room.

Excellent location, nice lobby bar, attractive hotel, requested and received late departure to coincide with travel connections, arrived early not expecting the room to be available and we were prepared to leave the luggage and head out, but the room was made available, that was appreciated. One really got the feeling you better have several euros accessible to walk past every single staff member. Perhaps it is their training to push services, but there is a fine line between graciously offering assistance and feeling pressured to just open your pockets when you don't require the "service". I will always happily tip for value, but I do not want to feel pressured by having to decline 3 times 2 different people who wish to carry my 1 small light shopping bag. Concierge booked restaurant but failed to tell us there were 3 different locations, we arrived to no reservations, luckily one table was still available. Our luggage was not picked up from the room when departing, after numerous enquiries and waiting almost 40 minutes, we almost missed our departure, yet only the porter apologized profusely who had to run to drag down bags without even an available trolley, and it was not his mistake, he had not even been informed. There are definitely far too many "children" milling about taking up space in the lobby without any designation for decision making or problem solving skills or training and no real purpose other then to provide the window dressing of smiling pretty faces to make guests feel pampered. I would prefer real substance instead such as more bar staff to provide service.. Prices are quite outrageous for drinks and food, and not providing solid value. The hotel's little joke about 1920 breakfast offered in the room booklet which is charged at over 680 euros per person fell flat as a joke to me (f that is what is was meant to be), it is just an insult to the guests and looking to gouge the one immature pretentious guest who will wish to brag about having so much money he can throw it away by ordering such an insanely outrageously priced breakfast instead. It is a pretty hotel surrounded by lots of pretty faces, but I am not a poodle looking to be carried about and patted on the head, I would just prefer solid service of real value instead.

Beautiful hotel, luxurious room and excellent service. All the staff were very well trained & great attention was paid to every detail. I find it hard to understand why hotels of this calibre don't include free Wifi access and breakfast in the price for all their guests. We found the price of both extortionate, so had breakfast elsewhere & didn't bother using the Internet.

Luxurious hotel, and excellent location right beside the Brandenburger Tor. We have been travelling recently three weeks in the mainland us and to three Haiwaiian islands, and are now on our secon week of travel in Europe. So far our stay has been quite good, and you have a remarkable hotel. The small thigs we just wanted to inform you about, is the following; When using our laptop, we have to stretch the power cord from the cabinet, to the table nearby, as there is no sockets available. This is not good. We have a waterheater in the room, it was on the cupboard in the room when we arrived, but no electrical sockest available there either. We have used the one on the floor beside the bathroom, but is't not a good idea to have to bend down when using this. When going to be last night, I tried to find an electrical outlet beside the beds for charging the battery for the mobile phone, but there is none, except by the floor behind the bed cup borard, so we had to put the mobile phone inside the minibar. Not so good, and also not so easy to turn around from the bed and get the phone, having to get up. When we ordered toiletpaper, becuase we were supposede to go outside, we had to wait more than 30 minutes for the toiletpaper. It seems like some of the staff don't understand english so well, and we even gave the room number in german. Not very impressive, causing us to go later out of the room than planned, giving us less time in the city. When we got back to the room in the evening, we found two things left by housekeeping, it was one cleaning cloth hanging over the baby cot, and the diapers bin was not emptyed, and was put on top of our luggage in the room. We would expect this to be emptied as well, and in any case not put on top of our luggage. The last things that happened when we checked out were not so good either; We called half an hour before the car was supposed to be picked up, and driven in front of the hotel, and also ordered a bellman to pich up the luggage at the same time.

Very nice and polite staff. On arrival, we were asked if we would upgrade to a better room. We got three options and went for the best one; a two room suite on the 2nd floor with a view to the Brandenburger Tor. Expensive, but a really nice experience. Really nice, kind of old fashioned style and excellent location in the middle of Berlin. For the price they charge for the rooms, breakfast should be included. This is actually outrageous! Also free wi-fi should be obvious in this kind of hotel in 2011.

Luxury in an ideal location. Very freindly and accomodating staff. Nothing was too much. Very knowledgeable concierge. Very quiet and peaceful. The food and beverages were expensive but with a michelin 2 star understandable.

Everything. I expected to checkin shortly after 15.00hrs but it was nearly 17.00hrs when I was led to my room.

Gracious hotel. Very comfortable rooms. It would have been nice if our rooms had been ready before 3pm - I did request this with the booking. I know that 3pm is check in time. We had travelled for 31 hours from Sydney and it was a return visit.

The hotel was stunning and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. We booked the hotel for a very special occasion, and the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a suite. The view from the suite,overlooking The Brandenberg Gate, was fabulous; particularly at night. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel The price for breakfast was high. This only a minor quibble; and there are a number of eateries in the vicinity where the price is far more sensible.

Old world charm and fantastic location right at the Brandenburg Gate. Having to pay for internet connection is no longer acceptable... It is not worth paying extra to have a room on the Unter der Linden, as it can be very noisy.

The hotel is outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone. The pool and spa are lovely and the staff exceptional. Location has to be one of the best in berlin. The cost of food and drink is in line with the standard of the hotel (high).
