Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin    

We arrived to a glass of prosecco and were given chocolates, nibbles and a personal card from our 'Lady in Red' both nights of our stay! What style and customer satisfaction. Everything was perfect.

Staff, very quiet room, the room service breakfast was brilliant

The hotel was simply amazing. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful all the time. The service was above and beyond expectation. The rooms were luxurious and well maintained. The best hotel I have ever stayed in by far.

The location is excellent . The lounge is very nice and inviting especially with the nice Piano music and superb service. We also liked the complementary plate of dried fruits and nuts in our room !

1-The room size and the bathroom were very small and not confortable at all. You do not feel you are staying in 5 star hotel room and paying this amount for this room. 2- Not all reception staff were friendly. 3- One of the 2 lifts in the back side was not working for 3 days which is unacceptable for such a hotel.

What's there to dislike?

The swimming pool and jacuzzi and being so close to the Brandenburg Tor and Tiergarten.

There was no view,our room looked on to the well at the back of the building and other bedroom windows. There was no dressing table in the bedroom so you have to stand up in the bathroom to do your hair and make-up.

An oasis of comfortable luxury in the heart of Berlin. Great location and an easy transfer from the airport ( Tegel ) via the txl bus. The room was a home from home and very quiet, catering for all our needs.

The cost of extras ( video / internet ) was unfortunately over the top and should be included in the price.

Old school luxury hotel lobby

If you are looking for a luxury hotel in Berlin, that's the one. Everything was perfect. The staff is just great (Ricardo - the doorkeeper - and Chistine - at the desk, in special). My children loved the pool, and the location is unique. We will include this hotel in our last trip.

The feeling of history. The friendly an efficient staff. The size of my room and where everything worked and a switch look like a switch and a tap like a tap. (Some modern hotels can be very confusing.)

Very young and inexperienced staff and poor customer care. Expensive

Staff were incredible. Really helpful and proactive in seeing what one wanted quickly. This was true of everybody from the youngest "bell boys/girls" to the most senior managers.

History of the hotel makes atmosphere special.

The service and courtesy of all staff with whom I came into contact were simply superb. The comfort was exceptional and I always felt very 'welcome' in your establishment.

The quality of the fruit salad I ordered for breakfast in room service was not good and the orange juice was not freshly pressed.

Everything was excellent.

Our names were not updated well, everybody kept calling my boyfriend with my last name. We gave both of the passports still was my last name. Even when they brought the birthday cake the card was under my last name, called and informed room service they apologised and bring a new one they never did.

Elegant atmoshphere, clean rooms, Luxury hotel..

I asked for 2 hour late check out, they demands 100 euro then I told that is too much and the man in reception respond very impolite.

Friendly helpful staff. No stuffiness despite being a high end hotel. Excellent room and facilities with high quality furnishings. Very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast very very good with large choice and good service. Location perfect as central with u and s bahn station right outside.

We stayed at the Hotel Adlon for a Christmas visit with friends to see the markets. The hotel is really special, everything you could need is there in absolute luxury. All the staff were really knowledgable, friendly and polite. Quite simply the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. We shall return next year!

The facilities, rooms etc. are excellent.

When I went to my room I had to climb one floor, because there was a party on the way to the elevators. I did not feel well this day and this was not acceptable for a hotel of this class.

It is in an ideal location but , importantly, it is an excellent example of a top-clas hotel. Although it is big, it is well-staffed so manages to give every guest personal attention. The room was faultless.

The hotel itself is extremely good and provides a service of a very high standard. If your looking for a city break in an indulgent hotel, the Adlon is highly recommended

Not the hotel, but loss of money from hotel room in inexplained circumstances was the only disappointment of our stay. Hotel security dealt with the issue in a professional manner and tried to make an amends with courtesy car etc - which was appreciated. Lesson for the future - always make use of room safe.
