Excellent quality for the price. Comfortable and cozy. The rooms were recently renovated. Friendly staff.
Weak WiFi in the rooms, we had to stand at the door to get a signal. The WiFi is free only to a certain limit, and you have to login everytime you try to access it. Expensive breakfast, not worth it. Bad location, industrial area, far from everything.
The matress was quite unconfortable and the bed structure quite fragile. My room faced the main street so it was noisy due to tram circulation and trucks passing by all night. Also the blinds were too small for the length of the window and sunlight flooded the room early in the morning. I asked for an extra duvet and the lady from the front desk said there weren't any extra ones (?!).
The staff are nice and always love to offer helps.
The choices of breakfast are poor. The beds are too soft for us to sleep well. The connection of WiFi is not convenient.
Close to the S-Bahn which is really convenient Clean bathrooms Some Receptionists were friendly and helpful
Terrible Wifi and you need to pay extra if you go over a small limit Quite expensive for what you get, can get rooms closer to the CBD for a better price Does not look as nice as it does in the photos
Reasonable price; large rooms; clean linen; 24-hour reception; free parking
Cheap mattresses in bedroom; candles, chandeliers and piano music piped into breakfast room dated it by a good 40+ years!
Nice hotel, very clean
Wi-fi is limited to 250mb (not per day, per whole stay), in the hotel description it says that there is a free wi-fi- not a word about ay limits, and for tourist wi-fi is a very important parameter. When I went to the reception the woman gave me another password for 12h (I was there fo r 5 days!) and was were unsatisfied whan I explained her that if there is limited wi-fi they should write that
Location close to transportation or highway. Big room. Very decent price.
Not very close to the city center. Basic.
A 'real' 5 minute walk to the S. The great staff, very helpful. Hotel is very clean
Noise from the 'S'. On the weekend I think it doesn't stop. Someone dumped glass into bins under our window very late/or early. My pillow, but staff exchanged it.
The only good thing about the hotel was a very helpful front desk employee called Aladin Us.
- Very bad wi-fi (not usable) - Broken television for 2 days - Rude employees
The hotel is close to S-Bahn. The young woman at the reception was helpful and kind, but she was the one.
The bartender (the tall one) in the breakfast room was extremly arrogant and rude. His behaviour was unacceptable and incomprehensible. The WiFi is limited (if you run out, you need to pay), although it was not mentioned in booking.com. The pictures about the rooms in booking.com do not correspond to the reality. The men at the reception were incompetent and unfriendly.
Good price and location. Private parking.Clean.
- poor wifi (limited access, slow); - smell of clogged drain pipes in the bathroom; - room facing some kind of construction or working site, workers started throwing some metal into containers at 6 in the morning, windows don't block the noise.
The free wifi was limited, we didnt have any light over our bed because the didnt change the lightbulb even after i asked them 3 times. Some guests hade a party untill early in The morning, which the staff did nothing about.
The WiFi is acceptable, but it's limited and expired at midnight of the last night of your stay. It would have been better if you can get unlimited internet until you check out
Hair dryer Walk to s Bahn feels like 5- 7 mins. Supermarket nearby. Clean beds.
Lousy wifi in room kept dropping you off. Limited free usage of wifi, need to purchase coupon thereafter. NO AIRCON! if you need a fan still have to rent with Eur50 deposit. Gave us a room with choked drainage for both bath and wash basin. Flat pillow. Towel with perfume smell.
Very clean rooms, large bathroom
Too far from the center
The reception was gentle and efficient.Very good cleaning room.
It was disgusting to make breakfast in a very dirty location. It's unacceptable having a table with only a dirty runner and not well wash dishes. The floor was uncleaned. The espresso wasn't included in the prepaid menù breakfast.
Good location, easy access by public transport to the city center. Spacious, bright, comfortable room with a large bed. Tasty breakfast and kind staff.
During our visit were changed room furniture and our belongings were moved without prior notice. There is a set of Internet use restriction of 250 mb, although it was not mentioned in booking.com.
The rooms very clean and tidy. Nothing special about equipment but it was nice after all.
A bit far away from Berlin, also parking was chargable near the hotel, although it was free on the streets.
Really great staff!
Super staff, great service.
Nothing maybe the location, it's in the outskirts of Berlin.
Nice clean hotel, cheap rooms close to my place of work in Berlin.
Get a room on the backside of the Hotel, unless you want to wake up every day at 6:00. There is a lot of noise from the trains (Sbahn). In the breakfast room the music is too loud and too annoying. Who plays Adelle and Passenger over and over again during breakfast? Staff at breakfast was a bit grumpy.
The hotel is central with stores around. The staff were great.
Good location, only a short walk to S bahn. Nice and friendly staff. We had a huge family suite, holding more beds then we needed (we ordered and payed for 6 beds we had 10 in the 2 spacious rooms). Backside rooms are very quiet. Good value for the money
Bit outdated interieur (we stayed on the first floor and renovations started at 3rd floor) One night was noisy (we can't blame the hotel for that, some guest drunk more than they should have..)
It was clean and facilities were quite ok for value beside bed
We booked 4 bed room which was shown 28 m2 in internet however room was 12 m2 and not spacious at all.Addittionally they charged 6 eur for parking eventhough hotel is quite far from hotel.
-Extremely close to S-bahn (maybe 3 minute walk). -Comfy, modern rooms. -Kaiser's supermarket within 5min walk. -Large bathroom. -24 hour reception. -I saw signs for an elevator, but not sure exactly where it was, so took the stairs. -Restaurant on site (we didn't try it, but would be convenient if needed).
-Wifi is a complete joke! They advertise having 'free wifi' when really, you get 200mb for 12hours within a 48hour period (so don't forget to log out at night)! Basically it runs out after any of these 3 conditions, whichever comes first. If you run out, it costs €5 for 5gb, which would've been very reasonable, had they not boasted free wifi. Oh and the signal is strong, but the speed is awful. Maybe close to dial- up speed! Just a really bad system. -No a/c, got pretty got in the room. -No mini fridge or kettle to make tea/coffee. -A couple things needed fixing, (eg shower door) but generally a very nice room. - Housekeeping on check out. This got me really quite angry. When checking in, we were told check out was 12pm, which we planned to make use of since our train wasn't until 12:45pm and we didn't want to lug our bags around all morning. The morning we were due to check out, house keeping came in at 9am when we were still in bed!!! They then came at 10am, 10:30am and 10:45am. How bloody hard is it to co-ordinate with the front desk to see if the guests have checked out yet?! This was really irritating!! The main reasons I wouldn't stay again are, the appalling wifi, and the location is a little too far out of the city centre, but public transport is very handy. If you don't mind no wifi and being 15-25mins train from main attractions, I think you'd be pretty happy with your stay for €55/night for 2 people. They could really use a/c for summer months though (pretty hot in early July).
