Hotel AGON Frankfurter Allee

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s a short one and a half block from the U-bahn (it looks longer on the map but there’s actually a very closer entrance). The area is great also. There’s a park nearby. A Sunday street fair takes place there, which is very lively. You find crafts, antiques, and all sorts of things. There are many restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby, and yet the hotel sits on a quiet/peaceful block (I also asked for a room facing the back which made the experience even more peaceful). The neighborhood might not look fancy but it felt very safe. If you are familiar with New York City, it felt like the grungy East Village before the yuppies took over. The room is very basic. It’s small but completely sufficient and clean. There’s a computer near the check-in counter for free internet use. The buffet breakfast is nice. You can’t really have anything to complain about. I paid 48 Euro/night (late June 2009) for a single room with a single bed—used booking.com. I would be happier to pay less (since the exchange rate was bad for me). That’s all.

The room I got was not the really as in picture I saw on the internet and even I booked a last minute offer you didn't specify that was for a less confortable room as I saw rooms are different in the hotel. I didn't even have mini-bar

the Hotel is located near the U-bahn . Clean and tidy rooms, very helpful and friendly stuff. Bakery and mini market right across the street.

not very good neighbourhood, not comfortable beds and pillows, not soundproof rooms. 64 euros for a single room is too much for this one, can get better at this price elsewhere

Nice place to stay in Berlin, just 20 minuts walk to O2 arena. Room was clean and confortable.

Reception personel could be more "positive" with the customers

although rooms were very clean, the furniture was basic and the curtains hardly covered the windows.

Das Zimmer war schön hell und gross. Es war sehr sauber. Und am positivsten überrascht waren wir vom Frühstücksangebot- sehr reichhaltig und viel Verschiedenes zur Auswahl.
