Nice friendly staff; close to airport Hotel is in poor condition; "lobby bar" described on internet is a cooler of beer in the lobby!

El hotel shuttle did not work because the airport closes at 11 o´clock normally but we arrived late at midnight. I had adviced the fligth details when booking. Second, Leonardo overcharged me 83,5 versus the 79 at the booking.Proof is available if you wish. Tell me a mail address to send it to. Thirdly the delefonnumber you give on the bboking is not the nmber of the hotel but the central reservation office in berlin. So I had to make two calls to get in contact with the hotel.

Close proximity to airport and friendly staff. Quite comfortable. There is a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurant to grab a meal in the evening.

Location, Comfort and the wonderful welcome from the staff. 10 Euros a night for overnight parking was probably a little steep, considering we were booked into the hotel overnight.

Location close to the airport Shuttle service from / to airport very poor, as nobody told me were the exact location at the airport was to enter the shuttle bus. So, I was waiting there for 45 minutes and in the end I had to take a taxi......

Met my needs for a seven hour stay before an early morning flight. Room spacious and comfortable. Transfers (five minutes in minibus) from/to airport were efficient and friendly.

We booked the hotel because we had early morning flights out of Hamburg. We had been staying in downtown Hamburg at a luxury hotel on a business trip that was paid for by our host. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodation at the hotel plus its nearness to the airport (we walked there for dinner) and regret that we had to leave too early to enjoy breakfast. Since we are in the process of renovating our bathroom, I have been paying attention to details in hotel bathrooms. We stayed in 4 hotels during our recent week long visit to Germany and Denmark. I would rate the Leonardo Hotel's bathroom as the best.

- Hotel is close to the airport - large room, including bathroom - small but comfortable bed - fridge, AC and LCD TV - Basic breakfast, without vegetables - very old furniture with an unpleasant smell in the room - a little bit noisy especially in the morning - insufficient staff (the receptionist was also the waiter and the person who cleaned the dishes), which is unacceptable for a three stars hotel - we have booked a double room with one bed and we received a twin room - few TV channels, mostly in German. The only English channel was NHK, a Japanese one. - if you have booked a room with breakfast included, you should remind this to the receptionist when you check in, avoiding to pay an extra one.

Very convenient to the airport. On the bus route 292 to airport or town so those with time to explore can do so on a budget. Free shuttle bus from hotel to airport and vice versa.Clean,modern,friendly,excellent continental breakfast.
