Carathotel Frankfurt Airport  

Friendly, good position from airport, parking free easy,good resturant.

Free shuttle buss to and from Frankfurt airport, free Wi-Fi internet

My Credit card was charded with amount different froim invoice. For the instance - the last two stays I have got invoices of 168 and 110 Euro. But my credit card was charged with 174.47 and 113.86 Euro.

We had a great room. Very large and quiet. Also the shuttle to the Airport was very timely.

The hotel has a restaurant that serves pretty good Mexican food.

We stayed only to be at the airport early in the morning the next day.

The restaurant in the hotel has great food, but the service is super slow. I mean really super slow. It took 15 minutes until someone took our order for drinks, then another 10 mins until one of the drinks was served. Because the second wasn't served after another 5 mins,I decided to get it on my own from the bar. It went on like that with the food and payment. Better go somewhere else for dinner!

Hotel shuttle bus was convenient for the one night stay at the hotel.

Short distance from the Airport, with Shuttle service. Beautiful, clean and large room. Superb breakfast. Friendly staff.

The staff was friendly, and the location was good. In many reviews people said that this was too far from the airport. The hotel is about but I could minutes away, but I could hear jet engines revving up from my room. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was wonderful. The restaurant downstairs is also pretty good.

The internet is free, but it did not function well in my room. I tried to use skype, but it kept disconnecting. I also tried just sending messages on my iPod through the wifi, but it could barely do that.

Family room was expensive for what was offered. Shuttle service was not timely, delay in pick up at hotel and longer delay waiting for pick up from the airport

I chose the Carathotel for its proximity to the Frankfurt airport and free shuttle service, so that I could break up a long trip with an overnight layover. I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and bath, given the modest price of the room. I also liked the attached restaurant.

The booking confirmation says “Guests wishing to use the airport shuttle service should contact the hotel using the free phone at the airport.” Being used to finding such hotel information in the baggage claim area of us airports, I was puzzled not to see any hotel information (or directions to it) either in the baggage claim area or in the terminal outside of the baggage claim area. If they had added something like "just outside of the exit a1 near the baggage claim in Terminal a", it would have been easier to find.

The location was close enough to the airport to make the trip to the airport easier. The staff were very nice and the shuttle left promptly. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection and was arranged pleasantly

The area was rather isolated and a bit out of the way. There did not appear to be many shops or restaurants nearby, with the notable exception of the hotel pub.
