The staff and the airport shuttle are the ever i see in all hotels that i visited. The best of the best. I give them 7 satre service. The breakfast is the best also.

Location in the middle of a industrial zone, Restaurant closed long term due to "internal management reasons" no bar either! I wouldn't stay here for the second time! WiFi??????? Poor service!

Bad location, soiled/dirty carpets, smoked rooms, rude staff, no A/C, ridiculous to be graded as 4 stars, never again!!!!!!!!!! I'm asking for my money back!
I booked a 5 person room through booking.com but when I got there they told me the max occupancy was 4 so i had to pay an extra 40 euros for my 10 year old son. After paying my 40 euros for the extra person/bed, I had to follow the maintenance person to two different closets to find the bed and then carry it to my room. I reserved the shuttle from the airport ahead of time but only half of my family would fit because supposedly a lot of other people had also reserved it for that time. the restaurant was closed for "internal reasons". It is not as close to the airport as it looks on the map.
This definitely not a four star hotel. The decor is poor, wifi is worse. The beds look at least 20 years old.
Internet was very spotty. The front desk never answered phone. I called twice at two different times with no anwser. Also while we were waiting for our shuttle at the hotel the phone rang and no one bothered to pick it up. Also while waiting for assistance at front desk an employee took 10 minutes to even notice me while she was work on her computer. I don't typically give poor reviews but the service lacked. A simple can you please hold or I will be with you in a minute would have been great.

The booking was not known at the hotel! I was lucky they still had a room available.
Originally booked for a family room. The room was not as expected. Luckily the hotel staff had agreed to arrange another room for us. Free shuttle to airport is good.

The receptionist who took hours to check us in and out. Watching a argument between unhappy customers and the receptionist (no towels in the room). Finding another person in the room the receptionist gave us. Phone calls at 4 o´clock in the morning to wake us up when we did not ask for it. uncofortable bed. The price
The facility and rooms were clean, comfortable, and accessible. Staff members spoke good English and were knowledgeable and helpful.
The hotel restaurant was closed due to an internal matter (strike? insurance? wages?), and that was one of the reasons that I chose the hotel. We had to find meals elsewhere. Also the hotel does not have many signs directing drivers to the site.
This is an airport hotel - which means location/price over comfort. Staying here 1 night to catch an early flight out of Frankfurt - fine. Anything else - look elsewhere. Free wi-fi

Had not realised that 2 Breakfasts had been booked by miistake--did not want or have time to eat--nevertheless,had to pay for breakfasts we did not have!!

Here is what we wrote to the hotel yesterday: Dear Carat Hotel, Upon arrival at the Frankfurt Airport we went to the call box for the shuttle. After entering your code many times we were frustrated and decided to just watch for your shuttle. Many shuttles from other hotels came by so we finally took a cab --- for 30 Euros. Then we found your restaurant was closed which wasn't all bad because we had a fine dinner at the Ciao restaurant which you recommended. Our room was comfortable and very clean, but the internet did not work until minutes before we left yesterday morning. The first username and password did not work on the 21st so your office gave us another username and password which also did not work. But just before we left the first username and password did work! We made a shuttle reservation for 7am yesterday morning. We were a bit concerned that the gentleman who made our shuttle reservation just grabbed a blank sheet of paper and wrote something on it. When we appeared in the morning we found our names were not on the 7 am list. Thanks to two no shows we were able to go on the 7am. When we explained at reception our frustration in calling for your shuttle we were told that you knew the call box was not working. Why didn't you or someone at the airport post an "Out of Order" sign on the call box? We feel you should reimburse us for our 30 Euro cab fare since the call box service promised by Booking.com was not available to us.. Most sincerely,
Close to airport
Restaurant and bar were closed, staff was inefficient, room was hot., shuttle was late so had to take taxi to airport.
They took money from my account without any warning and the next day they left to pay my colleague from a business credit card. Today, it is almost a month and still have not returned my money!
Glad we only stayed one night.
Carpet was a bit dirty and the room was small, bed linen set up for a single instead of a double. Hotel restaurant and bar were closed due to management discretion. No timeline provided for reopening. Asked for dinner recommendation and none provided. Airplane noise faint but could be heard through out the stay.
