Sheraton Munich Airport Hotel    

I liked the decor. The room was very comfortable and cosy. The staff were friendly and helpful. I like those glass lifts as well!

The shuttle from the hotel to airport runs every half an hour is good. However, coming from the airport to the hotel is confusing. Which shuttle to take where to catch it?? So much so we caught a cab!!

I enjoyed the atmosphere, the indoor staff friendliness, the room comfort, superior bedding and hotel location. Yes, the hotel bus was spacious..

I am glad you asked. While the airport pick-up driver helped with my heavy luggage, the one taking us to the airport did not, requiring fellow travelers to help. This is unacceptable for a five star hotel. There is no way I could have handled it myself. Please correct this situation. Any other hotel has always handled my luggage.

Friendly staff Spacious room

Charges for WiFi and fixed lan are not of this day and age. My data roaming Europe bundle is cheaper per month than their 24h charges. Charges for airport shuttle for 2 people is as much as a taxi trip. No value for money.

Convenient, clean

Features which may be accident-prone. Eg, shower area - there's a round knob at the bottom of the bar holder for shower head. My husband knocked his head against it (fortunately just a skin bruise). Exit (turn-stile) too narrow - tendency to knock against glass especially when there's another person going in. Restaurant - glass over salad counter - perhaps height not right? We saw a girl whose head got knocked against it when she was browsing the counter food - perhaps too engrossed but even so.

When you're in, you're in. Nowhere close by to walk to for an evening drink etc. Hotel bar closed over Christmas and the New Year. drinks provided by the restaurant, but weird that the bar in an international hotel was closed.

It was available. I was on a four week business trip near Munich (Poing) and was booked in a hotel where a weekend + few days was overbooked due to a coference (cardiologist) in the area, and I had to move out for the last week of my trip. Due to the conference, there were very few if any open rooms in the immediate area. I found the Sheraton through booking.com. Took the room as it was one of the oly available in the area.I thought it would be OK as it had AC - which is a big plus.

The added expenses. Charged for parking. Charged for breakfast. Charged for internet. These things are free - in less expensive hotels. The retaurant was embarrassing. Ate there the first night because i didn't know better. The service (waitressing) was some of the worse, amaturish I have ever witnessed. The food was pedestrian at best. Certtainly not up to the prices. Later in the week, I ate in the hotel restaurant one more time - this time it was my fault, as I knew better - however, it was very late and Germany shuts down early. the service and the food was even worse this time. Again, this was my fault - I knew better.

Location close to the airport

The staff is not very friendly....the airport is way out of the city therefore charging 14 euros for parking in such a location is ludicrous...

The hotel is too near to the Airport which made our stay @ the hotel very convenient.

Access to the airport worked out very well. Nice small town atmosphere. Friendly staff, particularly the bar staff.

Access to the internet only lasted 45 minutes requiring the user to login repeatedly. This is not the type of internet access that most of the market provides for this level of facility.

The Sheraton Muenchen Airport Hotel is quite luxurious and most comfortable. It is far enough away from the airport that it is very quiet and is situated in a small village.The Sheraton beds are famous for their comfort! It was convenient to be able to stay at this hotel close to the airport the night before our departure for North America. We appreciated the shuttle service at 5 Euros per person.

Hotel badly needs an upgrade. Travel into Munich is a bit of a hike! My only real issue was the blatant profiteering as it was the Champions League Final weekend.
