What a wonderful traditional German, friendly family-owned hotel. Although we didn't speak German (we had help from a friend we were visiting there and the reason for our stay in Havixbeck, when we booked in) but the friendliness and wonderful hospitality shown to us could not be surpassed . We would recommend this Hotel to anybody.

Very helpful staff, who despite the language barrier helped me sort out a train booking for me and my bike. Access to WiFi restricted to bar area.

Op een herfstige avond was het haardvuur zeer uitnodigend, de bediening heel plezierig en de maaltijd uitstekend verzorgd. Precies wat je van een duits Gasthof verwacht.

Sehr freundliches Personal! Sehr gutes Frühstück. Könnte dringend renoviert werden. Old Eiche Style. Licht ist spärlich dunkel. Bad zwar groß aber veraltet bishin zu den Armaturen. Lieblos.

Vriendelijkheid en betrokkenheid. Hulpvaardigheid Ruime kamer Rustige nacht Goed ontbijt Geen vaste zeep of shampo in de badkamer. Leesverlichting onder de maat. Nergens spaarlampen. In een defecte armatuur had men ook niet meer de moeite genomen een peertje te doen. Wandcontactdoos bevond zich in kopschot van het bed, juist bij hoofdeinde.
