Albatros Airport Hotel    

They were very friendly and helpful, especially when I had a problem to start my car because of a flat battery.

No aircon and window would only open partially so room was quite hot. I needed to wedge a plastic bottle in the window to keep it open.

Very good free breakfast, clean room

I didn't have a cell phone to call the hotel from the airport to get the shuttle. There should be an airport phone for this or routine scheduled pick ups.

the staff at the front desk spoke very good English, the room was nice. the staff at the front desk suggested eating at the restaurant next door, it was the best. Great drink, the food was grilled on the bbq outside, yummm, one of our best meals in Germany. They had a shuttle from and to the airport for 10 euro for the 2 of us each way.

Clean, helpful staff

Staff were very friendly/helpfull. The shuttle service from and to the airport. Shops were a few minutes walk away. Much quieter/peacefull than i expected, no aeroplane noise.

We booked 3 single rooms for one night. The hotel was easily and quickly reached from the car rental pick-up at Fankfurt Airport using Google maps and the directions provided on the booking.com website. When we got into them, each of the rooms were clean and well appointed. The self- service, buffet breakfast that was available the following morning was perfectly adequate for our needs. But for the reception and door entry problems and the receptionist's quite obvious inability to deal with several problems at the one time, this hotel would have ticked all our boxes. Until those problems have been addressed and rectified, though, one should be wary of this property.

We arrived at the hotel about 2230, as one single person was being checked in and a second was waiting. However, the lady on the reception desk seemed to be having considerable problems with the hotel's computer and her own abilities, because it took just over an hour for the three of us us to get checked in and installed in our rooms. One of the allocated rooms also had to be changed as neither the original keycard, nor a replacement keycard, both of which worked on the demonstration door lock on the reception desk, would open the door to one of the rooms.

the price of the hotel, as well as the breakfast was very good. The hotel is clean with friendly staff. The price of the shuttle service with 5 Eurp per person is fair.

15 minutes from airport using hotel shuttle. Restaurant attached to the hotel and very good food. Breakfast served in the morning from 6 am and also very good.

The hotel allowed me three-days free wireless internet connection as a gift, in return of the bad shuttle service. The Turkish owner also allowed me to use the hotel washing machine for my laundry for free; then he charged me double the fare for ironing!

I has to walk for almost 3 km every day to and from the train station. There is no shuttle or bus, and the hotel's bus is not available most of the time. Also the airport shuttle was 40 minutes late that I had to take a taxi. And when I was leaving; they got me the same driver who charged me double the fare; to cover his "fake" trip to pick me from the airport. There is no laundry service (officially) in the hotel, and the one near by is quite expensive and you won't get your cloths before three days.

Close proximity to Frankfurt Airport and the fact the hotel provided a shuttle service at a very very reasonable rate. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel also provided a good breakfast. Rooms and bathroom especially were a good size.

Advertised as an Airport hotel however took more than 15 minutes to reach the hotel and 35 minutes to the airport There was very little light in the room. During day time, you can get light from the window however at night time, the bulbs are not enough.

I liked the shuttle service. I called as soon as I arrived at the airport and a shuttle arrived for me 20min later right at the curbside where they told me to wait. However, when I called the hotel the woman who answered the phone was not friendly at all and a bit harsh with me about not calling unless I was absolutely sure I wanted to be picked up and that I not be a minute late. The shuttle also took me the next morning back to the airport no problem. The fee was only 5,00 euro which I think is cheap. This hotel is very, very far from the airport and would be expensive by taxi. Also there were no close subway or ubahn stop or bus.

The hotel is in a terrible neighborhood. Very industrial with nothing around it if you wish to go out and walk. Had I known it was so far from the airport I would not have stayed. There was a little thai restaurant down the street with great food and one German food restaurant. Nothing else. The hotel advertised 32,50 euro per night for 1 person on their website but I had booked through booking.com and was charged 50,euro per night. It was not worth it. The hotel was very clean, but uncomfortable. I never complain but the pillows were so bad I could not sleep all night and the walls a bit thin and noisy. I did not expect much for the price but I did expect a reasonable pillow and bed that was comfortable and it was not. Also the service at the desk was not good upon check in. The breakfast was okay and fine for the price. Bad points, were terrible location, far from airport, 20min drive at least, uncomfortable bedding.

The breakfast was pretty good and the room was big.

Although the doors have an electric lock, the inside didn't have a latch to give you that extra safety comfort. The hotel doesn't have an ice machine so you can't bring drinks with you. Although the website said the rooms have a fridge, mine didn't. The website also said they offer free wi-fi but when I got there they told me I had to pay 3 euros a day. The shower head is on the back side of the tub so you have to stand on the slanted side.

Front desk staff was efficient and willing to help. The room was clean and good. Breakfast was good. Stayed just one night as my connecting flight was only the next day. Happy that I chose this hotel. It is a good budget hotel. They picked me at the airport through their shuttle service

Poor selection of TV channels. Just 10 channels working and all German except for one english news channel

The breakfast was a typical German hotel affair, comparable with that found in much more expensive hotels. A buffet was laid out with a good variety of items from cereal to cold meats and boiled eggs with fresh crusty bread rolls and nice coffee. It was available from 0600. Everything was clean. Airport transfer was quick and efficient and very reasonably priced. Free wi-fi in the room for one hour was given which allowed me to contact family and confirm my arrival. The hour was from log-on, not from checkin, so I could visit the friendly bar next door for a beer before writing my e-mails. Well recommended.

Although the title is "Airport Hotel" it is a 15 minute drive from Frankfurt airport. Instructions for calling the shuttle were lacking. I asked at the airport information desk and they called the hotel on my behalf.

The staff was very kind

In the bathroom there was almost no water coming from the washbasin. We asked why and we were answered by the hotel boss that it was just a way for them to save moneys. We couldn't even wash our hands.
