the location is excellent and the view is like post card. we did realy enjoy staying at the hotel and the weather was perfect for walking to the city

The stay at the main hotel was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable.

When we booked the hotel we got a room in another building, which was up the hill, away from the main hotel. Yes it was overlooking the lake, but the room was very plain and not very nice. To get breakfast at the hotel we would have had to run done a steep hill. We decided to upgrade to the hotel.

We had a wonderful trip to the Black Forest and decided to stay in the Lake Titisee area. We traveled with two small children and decided to stay at this location in their Junior suite which worked out perfect for the one night we stayed. It was clean and very spacious. If we were to ever go back, we would stay here again. It's a 3 minute drive to the stores on the lake.

The junior suite is not located at the main hotel and you have to drive down a hill from your room to the main house to go swimming. It's a pain when you have small children to pack them in the car with swimming gear and then get everyone out a minute later. But, I knew this going in from another review so I wasn't surprised. That would be my only complaint.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We especially loved the breakfast each morning.

Four of us stayed in two apartments a few hundred meters up the hill opposite the main hotel building. The view is incredibly wonderful. We had a great time watching Titisee every moring and evening which seem to be just behind our rooms. The appartment is extremely clean , spacious and well equiped . We could find also every fascillity we needed. Breakfast is also extremely nice. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. We would grade this is the best hotel we had stayed without hesitation. We would surely want to stay in Boutique Hotel Alemannenhof every time we visit Black Forest.

THe only thing we hope the hotel may provide is the Wifi in the aparrment buliding.

Our hotel room (whihc was really a one bedroom apartment) was awesome. Great price, right on Lake Titisee. It was clean, modern, had a kitchen, internet, TV and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. They gave us Black Forest passes which gave us discounts on many locations in the area and even held a free champagne cruise on the lake. It was as close to perfect as you could get.

Parking was tight around the apartment. On a couple cases I had to park and walk 4-5 minutes. It was on a hill so some might find that a bit tough. We didn't mind at all.

The staff was perfect! Very helpful and educated. Rooms were like an apartment with all facilities and the view to the lake perfect! We had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, and the food was delicious, as the breakfast.

Great location, and so close to the ski slopes in feldberg, about 1km outside the town center so walking around was pleasant. Facilities at the hotel are great and the room we stayed in was very spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the service all round was great.

The hotel is situated with an amazing panoramic view of the Titisee and is surrounded by beautiful forestry through which there are numerous walkways. The hotel staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good indeed.

The Alemannenhof's location on Lake Titisee was outstanding- within walking distance of the town center but not so close as to feel as if it is another "tourist"-oriented hotel. The staff was courteous and took extra efforts to make things special for a family event (birthday). While I do speak German there are also more than a few staff members who speak excellent English. The food is authentic for the region and of outstanding quality! I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone staing in the southern Black Forest (Schwarzwald) region.

Outstanding breakfast buffet. This was an apartment with a large living room, kitchen and a bedroom downstairs.

Rooms were in a separate building, this is not a problem unless you don't have a car.

We had reserved one of their rental apartments which are 300 meters walk up a hill overlooking the hotel. The view from our apartment of Lake Titisee below and the surrounding forest was breathtaking. Our apartment was spacious and clean and the covered, underground parking would be very handy in winter. There was a hiking path that started 50 meters from the front door of the apartment. The trail network is well developed and marked -- great for getting out and seeing nature. With a booking of more than two nights, you get a Hochschwarzwald Card which qualifies you for numerous discounts (in many cases 100%) at local attractions. Breakfast was excellent and we were able to dine on the patio outside the restaurant. I would recommend getting the Halbpension because dinner was excellent as well.

Nearly everything! The room was fabulous! The view was spectacular. The bed was SO comfortable!!! The staff were really helpful and friendly (especially the lady who checked us in). We would definitely look at stay again but for longer next time.

We thought the restaurant was slightly over priced for dinner although the food was fresh and very good. The service was a little slow and not terribly good. It took over an hour just to deal with the main course and then about thirty minutes just to get the dessert menu. We had to ask two people before this materialised. Having said that the food was good

Beware they have a main hotel and an off shoot away from the lake, big difference between the two. Stay in the main hotel.
