Great value for money, quite close to the centre, underground station is 5 minutes away from the hostel, free coffee and tea, friendly staff
In my room it was not very warm even with the heating turned on on the maximum, it was difficult to manage the temperature of water in the shower. However, there were no such problems in my friends' room.
Location, location and location.
My lower back hurts from the bed.
Location was alright.
Bed was awful. Imagine as if you were sleeping on floor.
clean, reasonable, friendly staff and bikes for rent at reasonable rates.
the location,the stuff,the rooms
wifi only avalaible in reception
Helpful staff, clean, convenient location, good breakfast, free tea and coffee, ATM.
We booked a double/twin room on Booking.com but we're placed in a 6 bed dorm. Not Aletto's fault and no major inconvenience.
You get what you pay for
It's a semiofficial hostel for European schoolchildren on field trips abroad, so public spaces get very crowded and there's running and shouting till wee hours. Sometimes it's impossible to sleep!
the location was quite alright, a short walk from the metro stops. quick fix of overflowing shower (see negative)
surprising how something in such a cool part in town can be so without any charm at all shower was overflowing, after quick fix (see positive) nasty smell. staff was very unhelpful when the alarm went on and off in the lounge.
Rooms were very good and also the staff of the Hotel were very friendly and helpful for all our needs.
Breakfast was 5.50€ each day which for cetairnly did not deserve it.
Having too many beds in the room.
Cosy and clean room, 2 wash basins. Good location, not so far from the city center and main attractions (30-40 minutes by walk).
Free hot tea or coffee was not available in the late evening, no hot water.
We stayed in the 5 people room which was massive, super clean and very comfy. The place is close to two U-Bahns on the line to Warschauer strasse which is perfect. Free coffee and tea facilities. Would return there again when back in Berlin
Good location and service
Big hostel with a lot of groups
I have been at the same hotel 1 year ago. All i like about it it is the clean room and environment all around.center located, close to the Subway station and Postdamerplatz at the walking distance. The staff it is helpful.
Close to U Bahn, walking distance to Jewish museum, Check Point Charlie, and a supermarket (Kaisers) 10 min to walk to food places. Staff were friendly, and helpful.
Obviously a hostel, but quite noisy (mainly due to group of school kids)
Room has 2 double deck beds + 2 single bed. Staff is friendly. Free coffee provided at the lounge from 6pm onwards.
No amenities provided. Free Wifi only provided at the lounge. Breakfast are not much choices.
Slept really well in our private/en-suite room. Not much noise as most 'youths' were at school (apart from in the courtyard at times from a few school trips). Great continental style breakfast hall with fresh salads too and the WIFI in the public areas works really well. The location is fine as it's next to two stations with variable options to hop around. Plus if you are arriving late and want a local/quick bite before heading to the bars there's a Greek on the corner that does free ouzo's too. During the day, there are a couple of gorgeous little cafes that pop open round the corner if you fancy a real coffee or fresh breakfast/brunch. All in all the cost of a long weekend trip plus car park was ridiculously cheap so would highly recommend during school-term to avoid the rush and noise.
Morning chatter from loud teenagers meeting in the courtyard before they head off to visit the city.
Location was pretty nice - straight between 2 U-Bahn stations, from which you can directly reach the centre of the City. Breakfasts were very tasty. Kind staff.
Instead of requested in advance 1 big bed in our room we found 2 two-level beds. Nobody informed us about this upon arrival.
Breakfast was great value for money. Staff were helpful. Good location for public transport.
At this price, nothing.
kitchen staff was very helpfull with boiling baby's stuff :)
internet connectin is just in the loby...
Matress was very thin
-location -common room with coffee and tea
- breakfast is rather poor - curtains in rooms to narrow - didn't cover the whole window
I liked that they had wifi for free, breakfast was quite rich, service was nice, rooms were clean
the location was not perfect - there is around 400m to the metro station and there is nothing ineresting in the nearest neighbourhood
Good location, close to subway stations and only a short walk to lots of little restaurants and shops. Staff was very friendly!
Poor mattress and lumpy pillow. Small bathroom (but good water pressure in the shower!). One of the elevators was perpetually broken. Generally a very hostel-like feel (noise from school children, worn-looking hallways) for what I would expect to pay for a reasonable hotel.
Environment friendly by not Washing towels during stay
