When on holiday in a place like Berlin...you are out most of the time to explore the place...This place in true sense is a value for money..decent room size, decent breakfast, very courteous and helpful staff...what more can you can ask for...
Its little too noisy...very thin exterior walls.
Close to the subway Free tea and coffee anytime Helpful staff Luggage storage after check-out Comfy rooms Great shower TV
Internet only in lobby (but really good Internet)
no internet in rooms
Sympathy of staff and safety.
Location Value for money Free coffee and hot drinks
No Wi fi in rooms Floors are not carpeted A bit small beds
Breakfast was great, staff most helpful room clean loved the painted tiles in the bathroom
The floor boards very noisy not just in our room but in the corridor .we were also there during school students trip .they are very excitable and do not go to sleep as early as a person in there 70s who has spent a day sight seeing
Very welcoming staff. Location, although a bit further out, close to two metro stops. Free coffee/tea available. Room was also fairly large - with storage space and desk. Breakfast was good value (5.50 euros), although they also provide tables where you can eat your own breakfast (supermarket next door).
Rooms were fairly plain, although for the price, cannot really complain!
great breakfast, U-Bahn is realy near, very nice and helpful staff, clean and basic rooms with big bathroom, grocery store is not far, 24h coffee and tea in the lobby, will stay here next time
Free coffee and tea. Free wifi. Close distance to subway (u7) Free maps.
The quality price ratio.
Great hotel, super friendly and helpful staff, rooms clean, close to u- bahn Eisenacher Str. There's always coffee and tea in the lobby free of charge. There are vending machines to get some snacks.
Internet only in the lobby
The hotel is near the U-bahn station. And the staffs are friendly.
The soundproof is terrible. You can tell if someone walk outside or above your room.
+ We were able to leave our luggage after the checkout + There is a nice garden + The room was quiet
- In a double room there were 6 beds. That gives a hint that it is usually used as a hostel room for 6 people - The room was not very clean and the furniture was heavily used - No table in the room
Very nice and helpful staff and good breakfast.
Though a bit far from Mitte and other central places of interest, it's close to the U station Eisenacher, bus stations taking you everywhere and to the supermarket. Free tea and coffee at the lobby. The staff was very helpful, professional and nice.
As a person who needs silence in order to sleep I found a room a bit noisy (was at the room for 2 persons). The windows look into the street with traffic so be sure to close the windows at the morning. No air conditioning but they have a fan so it helps.
We had a private room that was a necessity with our son, and it was very centrally located and easy to get around the city.
The people that were staying at the hotel were kind of rude. We found ourselves having to close our windows due to the heavy amount of smoke and loud chatting of other guests at very late hours, even though there was a noise ordinance. I do not think this is a resin to not stay here, just a downside of our specific stay.
Location Price Distance to the U-Bahn Cafes in Goltzstr.
Rooms too hot
Staff is great and cordial and very knowledgeable of Berlin. They all speak English very well. Location is close to the underground and good restaurants around (including vegan). I would stay again in seasons without school classes. Very cozy.
The place was packed with classes of teenagers, who made unbearable noise at night. It was hard to sleep. It's fairly clean for the place. No wifi in the room and it requires to sit with the kids in the lobby. Also no phone in room to call and ask at night for quiet. It's like a hostel although i got my own room. Tad expensive for such hotel.
Small fan. Wasn't informed about the need of reserving a parking olace. And lot was not well marked. Had to park in driveway next to hotel to go in and ask about parking. However, and this might be noteworthy, since I was talkinng englush and the staff person was also talking english (fluently) maybe this was forgotten. All in all, no complaints and will stay again and recommend!
Hotel was great! Very cosy, clean and with excellent facilities and staff. I've traveled a lot and I have never encountered such friendly staff.
Facilities basic, but good for the price. Quiet room/corridors. 24-hour reception. Staff helpful.
Geared towards large groups of teenagers/school tours, so public areas were manic at times.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast.
People smacking doors, walking up and Down the corridors talking the Whole night!
Our family of 7 had an amazing stay at the aletto Jugendhotel! The room was adequate for our large family. The kids were thrilled with the 4 sets of bunkbeds in one room and there was plenty of storage space in the wall closets. We enjoyed the breakfast and the kids loved playing the fussball game in the lobby and playing in the garden. The hotel is only a block from the subway (about 15 minutes ride to get to the popular landmarks) and there is a grocery store nearby. There are plenty of cheap restaurants around also. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful when we had questions.
Overall, there isn't much that I didn't care for. The only thing is that whatever the floors are made of caused the sound of my kids footsteps to amplify and made them sound incredibly noisy. But no one complained so I guess it's okay ;)
