Alexander am Zoo  

It's very quiet hotel, and very clean.

The quilt is too narrow.

Room quality and a very good breakfirst all to a very good price...and only 50 m from tram stop place, very easy to go there from HBF just tram11 and then no14 direct close , I can really recommend Alexander am Zoo compared to other overpriced central Frankfurt hotels!

very good atmospher ,friendly and helpfull stuff

I thought the hotel was very well located near the Zoo, the tram line, and also the U-Bahn. Breakfast was a good selection and very pleasant, helpful wait and receptionist staff. The room was quiet and comfortable and the 4 tv channels in English--although news channels--offered enough documentary-style journalism to keep us entertained for a rainy rest day inside the room. The hotel was very clean and the accommodations were very comfortable. The only drawback was that my mother, who has finds it painful going up and down stairs, had to climb about 7 of them to get to our room on a slightly higher level of the ground floor. This would have been much easier if there had been a hand rail. Otherwise, as I told the receptionist as we were checking out, everything but that lack of handrail was perfect!

Close to airport. Excellent internet wifi connection.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Easy to access to downtown.

Air conditioner didn't efficiently work, it was too cold in the room. There is very limited kind of food at break fast, the menu is almost same everyday. There is no free-Internet connection in a room, it was not very comfortable for business use.

The staff were helpful, the breakfasts good and the location excellent for the U-bahn or for a not too long walk into the city centre. The room was comfortable and modern with plenty of room for two. A kettle was provided in the room. A good sized bathroom which was very clean, and cleaned every day. There was a computer with free access to the internet for checking e-mails in reception. Wifi was available at a cost but we did not use it.

The only minor criticism we had, and it may have only been our room, was that there was no openable window, only a door which we had to leave open at night because the room was a bit stuffy without something open to the outside. We did note from outside that in other rooms this door could also be opened as a bottom hung window.

We stayed in a suite which was very spacious, the decor wouldn't be to everyone's taste but personally I quite liked it (cozy). Our room had big windows and lots of natural light. This hotel was also very quiet, the rooms are amazingly soundproofed, we never heard another guest!

No airconditioning! Most of the time it probably isn't a problem, but it was very hot when we visited Frankfurt and we found it very difficult to sleep because the room was hot and stuffy. Apparently they are setting up an airconditioning system, I would recommend this hotel only if that was in place!

The Frankfurt zoo was awesome!

Absolutely no complains. :)

Needed it to be close to subway and it was.

Lejos del centro historico ( 20 cuadras ) . Caro el parking

.) die Lage --> sehr schöne, ruhige Seitenstraße, trotzdem total zentrumsnah (3 Min. Zur U-Bahn und in 3 Stationen in die Innenstadt) .) Frühstücksbuffet lecker und mit großer Auswahl (allein 6 verschiedene Müslisorten, frisches Obst etc.) .) kleineres Hotel, daher persönlichere Atmosphäre und Ausstattung als in den Kettenhotels .) alles in allem top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wie man es selten findet

.) der Teppich im Zimmer hätte eine Renovierung vertragen, und die Klobrille war wohl auch schon ein alter Hase (alles sauber, bloß abgenutzt)

Solides Hotel, das einen angenehmen Aufenthalt garantiert. Es fehlt nur noch ein Schwimmbad.
