Nice location. Friendly reception staff. Very clean room. Room on the small side with slanted roof (top floor). Very hot with no air conditioning. Area quite noisy for some reason. Very expensive wifi service. Expensive breakfast. All in all, very overpriced for the services offered.

The hotel was well situated in terms of transport. Many restaurants in the area, but nothing really special. The area around the hotel was not that great with a lot of noise in the mornings. Many restaurants in the area but nothing really special.Perhaps the Gendarmenmarkt area would have suited us better.

Very comfortable room etc. Excellent breakfast and helpful and frendily waiting staff. Would stay again and recommend to other freinds and family.A Couple of mins walk from u Bahn, trams etc. Very good hotel. Look forward to areturn stay in Berlin and this hotel.

It was a perfect location for us for sightseeing and Christmas markets The room was very small/badly laid out. Some of the reception staff were extremely unhelpful and unfriendly.

Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was big and very comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast, cooked, cold meats, cereals, fruit and great coffee. We had a first floor room looking out onto the road and every morning at some time between 5:40 and 6:20, a bin lorry arrived to empty rubbish. the sound of hundreds of glass bottles pouring from a container into the lorry was deafening. It would have been perfect if not for that.

Pleasant smaller hotel in quiet location, rooms with desk and internet, easy to reach by public transportation, and close to Unter den Linden, museums, restaurants, etc. Breakfast is great, also morning papers available. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed,

First class service and comfortable stay. Room was spotless and hotel located in a quiet street close to transport links restaurants and sights. Definitely will be coming back. Excellent breakfast. Well done hotel alexander! Shower pressure could be better but not a show stopper

Excellent location within a short walk from Alexanderplatz station and a lot of the main tourist attractions. The facilities of the hotel were first class, we had a spacious room and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast buffet was located in a lovely conservatory and provided an excellent range of foods. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I loved the room, very quiet, on a side road with very comfortable furnishings. I loved the central a/c and fan which allowed for all noise, if there was any to be blocked out. The staff is great, very friendly, helpful, very responsive to anything I might need, like a request submitted for entry into the Reichstag right up to running after me to give me my glasses that I had left on the counter at check out. Thank you so much for that! The location is excellent. I used the U and S Bahn every day and Alexanderplatz is a great central location. The heat on the 6th floor was a little slow in coming. This was not much of a problem for me due to the time of year I was there, but in the winter it could be a problem. But as far as I was concerned, I could not have been happier with my choice of hotel.

Good option for a prolonged weekend in the city. Quiet, not too big hotel with excellent location next to the hip and trendy shopping part with many pleasant restaurants in mitte and walking distance from another shopping area in friedrich strasse. Low point was the breakfast (eggs and coffee in particular). Also the hotel does not have a possibility to rent a bike which is a great option if the weather is nice..

Great location in Mitte. We were upgraded to a suite - what a great surprise. The room was really nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. Plus we had an excellent view from our large windows to Berlin streets.
