I liked the friendliness of the family-owned hotel.

There were no showers to use without paying.

One of the workers in the reception desk was with strict and can-not-be-kind feeling on his face,what made my friend and me not comfortable. Additional fees of room with shower! €15 per night! And Wifi expensive!

Location, cleanness.

There is only 1 shower room and it is outside the main hotel building, meaning you have to cross the parking and enter another building to shower. That is not clear and most travelers will be caught in surprise as I was.

Great hotel for the money and a stones-throw from the main train station. My room was cleaned daily and the staff there were great. Easy walking distance into the Centre, I’d stay there again.

For the money, I couldn't fault it.

Proximity to Munich Central Station

- centric location (3 mins. from Central Station) - nice old style interior design

- my room was a corner one on the floor, it smelled smoke all the time - a bathroom was in another building across the court

Receptionists are all very friendly and 24h service. The location is excellent! Very close to Munich central train station.- literately just 100 meters away. Surprising very quite because all the noises are shielded away by a row of houses in between the major street and the hotel.

1) You have to pay for wifi access , which cost over 2.5 euro/ hour. (but i was told most hotels in German do not provide free wifi) 2) No TV in the room, but there is a radio system. However, i think it is fair condsidering the decent price and excellent location of Alfa Economy Hotel.

extremely close to the train station, and very quiet and I felt very safe on the street.

the shower unit was in a different building and down 6 flights of stairs, with the shower unit fastened under a projecting bulkhead. The worst arranagement ever.

I liked how close it was to the Central Station and the middle of the city.

I didn't like how thin the walls were also the pillows were too soft.

Special design, lovely! Good location, really near the main train station.

Sometimes you need go to the other room to take shower and use toilet.

Staff were very friendly and helpful; The location was excellent,close to railway station and also top of main walk down into town. Better than many hotels close to railway stations which can be not so good. My room was clean and tidy and was exactly as I expected, the breakfast was also good.

Obviously would prefer free wi-fi given the choice, other than that all was good for my stay

Location was very convenient. The staff was extremely professional and friendly.

Wifi was absurdly expensive. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed at in all of Europe (8 countries, 12 cities), yet was by far the worst. Absolutely no services gratis, very hot room with no ventilation, poor pillows and bed. The room was cramped for two people due to a low slanted roof. Shower was in a separate building.

1) Accommodation staff. 2) Clean and cosy room. 3) Location and price.

The environment of the hotel is calm.

The room was small and there was neither a wc nor a shower in the room.

Friendly staff, centrally located hotel, reasonable rates, clean rooms and honest room service. I felt safe and secure there.

No complaints about the hotel or it's staff. Budget hotel with budget amenities. I will certainly stay there again when I next visit Munich.
