The location. Scheidegg is close to Lindau and Bregenz. Too many mosquitoes. The shower was too small and it's position was inconfortable - somehow near the toilet. The breakfast - little variety. |

nice quiet place, relaxing bath & toilet window from other room was on the sidewall of our balcony. Hearing everything incl. flushing was not too exciting while sitting on the balcony and sipping wine........ |

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig am Ortsrand von Scheidegg. Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ökologie und Bioprodukte stehen im Vordergrund bei der Verpflegung. Umgebung ist ideal zum Wandern und Entspannen. Sehr empfehlenswert: Die Breitachklamm bei Obermeiselstein, eine wilde Schlucht, die aber gut für Fußgänger zugänglich gemacht wurde. Der konsequente Hang zur Sparsamkeit ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig: die Waschbecken sind mit elektronischen Wasserspendern ausgerüstet, die nur bei Annäherung sprudeln. Beim Frühstück gibt es zwar ein vielfältiges Büffet mit regioanalen Produkten. Kaffe, Butter, Frischkäse und Joghurt sind aber zunächst nur in kleinen Mengen vorhanden. Natürlich wird auf Wunsch nachgereicht, aber es ist eher etwas lästig, jeden Morgen danach fragen zu müssen. Naja, besser als zuviel auf dem Tisch, das nachher weggeworfen werden müsste. |
