Belle décoration, très bon buffet matinal avec une jolie vaisselle ce qui est rare dans les hôtels. Chambre confortable et spacieuse.

Hôtel super génial tenu par une famille très sympathique. Très bien situé, à 2 minutes à pied des départs en randonnées en montagne, des magasins et restaurants. Très bien aussi pour les amateurs de vélo et de VTT. Excellent petit déjeuner, très jolie chambre, très propre et super balcon avec vue sur les montagnes. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour et ne manquerons pas d'y retourner l'année prochaine.

Très bon accueil de la part du propriétaire. Hôtel très bien situé dans Garmisch, à 2mn à pied de la zone piétonne (mais avec possibilité de garer sa voiture à l'hôtel). Nombreux restaurants à proximité. Notre chambre familiale (studio Waxenstein) avait une très jolie vue sur les montagnes, était grande et confortable (bonne literie) et la grande salle de bains était séparée de la chambre par un grand hall d'entrée. Propreté des lieux.

Petit hôtel familial très bien situé à un jet de pierre du centre de la ville et un peu en retrait de la route. Vue sur les montagnes et très bon accueil. C'est simple mais on s'y sent très bien. A recommander.

Perfect location in Garmisch! Right in the shopping/dining center. Extremely helpful family that has owned the hotel for 4 generations. Older parents speak only German, but the adult son speaks perfect English and is very friendly. Breakfast is very good. Hotel was quiet even with other guests. Only stairs made a little noise when people went up and down. Our room for 4 (#10) was very country-cute German, and was large with a sitting area. Gorgeous mountain views out the windows on both sides of the hotel! Single cup coffee maker in the room was outstanding!!! Best place to stay in Garmisch! We prefer it to the Edelweiss Military resort -- to have the German experience instead of the American one.

Nothing was bad! Would have liked a fan in the room -- not because of temp, but for white noise at night. I probably could have gotten one if I asked.

This was a very nice hotel with a spacious, clean, quiet room. We had a beautiful view of the mountains on the two balconies in our room. An excellent hot and cold breakfast with many options was included in the rate. The host family was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The hotel is decorated with a nice collection of antiques and art. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and good value for the money.

The hotel is a bit difficult to find without a map and directions. We arrived too late for the Tourist Information assistance. Be sure to map it out ahead of time to make it easy to find.

The room/studio was full of beautiful decorations. In fact the whole hotel is like a museum. And a cup of "home made" Nespresso was just a pleasure on its own.

The Internet connection was of a very low bandwidth.

Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and plentiful, just what you need before a day of skiing. Room was a good size with a classic look but modern bathroom. Free parking and wifi. About a 10- 15min walk to the garmisch classic ski lift, or you can catch the bus. Near many restaurants/bars and atm.

Mattresses weren't the best, but that is only a minor complaint.

Great central location with easy parking right outside. Staff friendly and helpful with warm, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was good, with attentive service.

Our room was at the top of three flights of stairs...no lift so it was quite challenging! Noisy neighbours occasionally disturbed us.

Single room is really small

The location was perfect. Next to city center but in quiet location. Close to all ski lifts. The breakfast was good and the free parking was convenient. Rooms were comfortable and most of the staff was very friendly. Free Wi-Fi in rooms and prices for mini-bar were better than nearby stores.

No elevator which was not a problem for us but something to take into consideration.

I liked everything about my stay

Great location - right in the middle of town. Walking distance to many restaurants. Although I didn't use it, a bus runs very close right to the Hausberg lift

The 3rd and 4th beds in our "quad" were converted from sofas and not as comfortable as the regular beds -- OK for kids but I think adults would not have been happy.

Worked well for me. - Well located in old centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. - Plenty of restaurants etc near by. - 2 block walk to ski bus. - 10min walk from station. - Very friendly & helpful staff (family). Younger generation have excellent English. - Smart reception - Traditional decor - Room comfortable and good shower. - ski room with boot warmers (if your quick) - basic cubicle style sauna (I didn't use).

- Carpets in rooms and upstairs landings quite old. - sound insulation between rooms is poor.

The wonderful hospitality of the owners, the very nice breakfast - with very good music. Suggestion : it would be nice to have a water cooker and tea / coffee in the room.

The rooms are dated (a bit like your great Aunt's house) - and that's fine . . . It is what you'd expect for a guesthouse in the area. However, the cleanliness is also like staying at a relative's place. In other words don't be surprised to find other people's hair, slow draining showers, etc.
