The Alpen Hotel München is situated in a quiet side street in the city centre. You can enjoy first class family tradition in one of the oldest hotels in Munich.

All the sights and attractions, the pedestrianised old town, Marienplatz and the town hall, the local public transport services and the main train station, as well as the world famous Oktoberfest, are all within comfortable walking distance of the hotel. The fairgrounds and exhibition centre are less than 20 minutes away by public transport.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

The hotel offers meeting rooms which are equipped with the latest conference technology, such as electric projection screen, flip chart including 10 sheets of paper, writing pads and pens, pointer, telephone, extension cables and multiple sockets.

Food & beverage

After a refreshing night's sleep in one of our comfortable guest rooms, a rich and comprehensive breakfast buffet awaits our guests every morning from 7.00 until 10.30. The buffet is supplemented with seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as a variety of freshly baked breads, rolls and croissants. During the hot summer days our guests have the opportunity to breakfast in our popular green and flowery courtyard, which acts as a cool oasis.

Our gastronomical services are completed by the Restaurant Stefan, which serves international cuisine as well as typical Bavarian "Schmankerln."

In our hotel, all 57 rooms and junior suites have been individually furnished.

80% of our guest rooms are non-smoking rooms.

Important information

Senior citizens as of the age of 65 years may request a discount of EUR 5.20 per room ( not available on special rates/ discounts and fair rates ).

Friendly staff and location of hotel

External noise from street overnight and early morning. no air con, so windows had to be left open during heatwave.

The location and cleanliness. The staff were helpful and polite.

The room was small and the shower flooded the room (454). For a 3 star hotel I thought the facilities were poor - I couldn't get an iron in my room and the soap/shampoo was minimal.

Staff were great. Very, very clean and attractive. Outside terrace very nice.

The weather was very hot. The only thing we could have wanted was air conditioning in the rooms. They were generously providing fans which helped. Otherwise, great stay.

Ruhige Lage und trotzdem sehr zentral

Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk nicht klimatisiert und daher im Sommer fast unerträglich warm zum Schlafen.

il personale molto gentile e disponibile

non riesco a trovare aspetti negativi però ho l'abitudine di usare un mio sapone con una mia spugna la donna delle pulizie ha portato via il tutto ma non è un problema può capitare. comunque tutto bene

Το πρωινό

Νομίζω ότι μερικά δωμάτια είναι λίγα μικρά σε χώρο και κάνουν δύσκολη την κίνηση όταν έχεις πολλές αποσκευές, ενώ σε αντίθεση έχουν πολύ μεγάλα μπάνια.

Silenzioso, pulito. Personale cortese e disponibile. Centro facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.

Convenzione parcheggio non applicabile sempre ma soltanto alla presenza dell'operatore incaricato a incassare, praticamente quasi sempre assente, per ragioni indipendenti all'hotel. La stanza minuscola nonostante le quattro stelle.
