The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Wifi for 3 euros for the whole stay was also very reasonable. Location is well suited for hikers, due to numerous trails within walking distance.

The friendlyness and hospitality of the staff. The bar and lounge area is very cozzy. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The enviorment of the area was lovely, well put and very relaxing. The surrounding of the hotel but I think that what made all this perfect was the hotel ambiente and decoration. Furniture with old wood! Lovely! The menu for a la carta could be improved. Should maybe include a nice chicken salad, more healthy or light options....

Zeer mooi gelegen en verzorgd hotel. Nette kamer en personeel. Zeker de moeite waard om vanuit dit hotel de omgeving te verkennen. Vele wandelingen direct vanuit het Hotel te maken.

sehr freundliches Personal, Restauration exzellent, tolles Frühstücksbuffet, gemütliche Restaurationsebene mit Bauernstube und Bar, gepflegter und liebevoll eingerichteter Wellnessbereich Hotelzimmer etwas hellhörig. Unser Zimmerbalkon war von den Nachbarn etwas eigenartig - mit einer Plane - abgetrennt, was die Privatsphäre doch etwas einschränkt. Ggf. sollte man in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie über eine Alternative nachdenken.

Sauna, Dampfbad, Schwimmbad. Essen der Halbpension war sehr gut und reichlich. Unsere eine Heizung im zimmer war kaputt. Solarium war extra zu zahlen. Massage war mehr Wellness wie echte Massage.

This hotel is exceptionally well located in a beautiful scenic about five minutes outsde Berchtesgaden and close to beautiful Koenig Sea (alpine lake surrounded by beautiful mountains). Beautiful mountain views from the hotel as well. Great facilities with indoor and outdoor swimming, area for walks, etc. Exceptionally nice breakfast with wide array of choices. Dinner menu was good and the half board four course dinner was excellent and at very good value. Ala carte menu had wide range of choices as well. The only negative in an otherwise exceptional hotel situation was that seating was "assigned" in the dining area, both for breakfast and dinner. We would have preferred to choose where we sat from available open seats at the time of arrival or to make reservations for particular locations in the dining area. On our request at breakfast, we were permitted to utilize tables near the window locations where the assigned guests had already eaten and departed.
