Alpenvilla Berchtesgaden  

Our stay at the Alpenvilla Berchtesgaden was the highlight of our holiday road trip through Belgium, Germany and Austria. This is a very lovely place - the views are spectacular, the room is beautifully designed and very comfortable, the owners wonderfully welcoming. Great for mountain walking and day trips into Saltzburg. Thoroughly recommended.

We arrived very late due to flight delay, our welcome was very warm and friendly despite the time of night. When we awoke, the view from our room and balcony was spectacular, we had an 180 view of the mountains. The breakfast was superb, as we had to leave early on the last morning we asked if we could have it at 7, this was no problem. The room was spacious clean and extremely comfortable with a great shower and whirl bath in the large bathroom. One of the nicest places we have stayed throughout our travels and will be trying to get back soon for some cross country skiing. Cant recommend this place enough!!

From the very first moment the stuff made me feel like home, with a very friendly welcoming and hospitality which goes beyond expectations. I have only mentioned a mild problem I might have with the caw milk and the hostess immediately spoiled me every morning with all kinds of delicious goat cheese and soya milk. Additionally the amazing view of the surrounding mountains on the terrace where the breakfast is served makes your stay there very pleasant and memorable. The maintenance of the suite was excellent and kept very clean at all times.

If I could suggest something that could improve the overall comfort of the stay at this luxury hotel is allowing wi-fi access to all rooms, and not only in the lobby space.

Alpenvilla Berchtesgaden is much, much more than the pictures or description convey in the website. It is not so much a hotel as a very, very upscale b&B. We stayed in one of the suites and it was very nice...from the comfort of the beds to the large rooms to the spa in the over-sized shower, and did I mention quiet? There was at least one family with a very excited and talkative 3-year old. We only heard them on the veranda at breakfast (included in the price). Of particular importance was the way we were treated...after a 2 1/2 hour trip to Berchtesgaden turned into a 5 hour plus trip (traffic), we were hopelessly lost, it was dark, and we were very tired. One of the proprietors answered the phone on the first ring (at 10:00 pm), came and found parked in front of the train station, guided us to the hotel, then fixed us a simple yet exceptional supper of cold meats, cheeses, vegetables, and juice. We were happy, full, and had a much improved outlook on the visit as a result. My wife had been nursing a cold for days before the trip, but when the owners heard her coughing and sneezing, they put their very best home remedies into action and took special note to inquire on her up-to-the-minute health over the course of our visit. Very special people. And, to top it off, since my poor German language skills tax even the most accommodating listener, they made life easy with their fluent English. All in all, a very successful trip made all the more pleasant by our hosts and their exceptional hotel/B&B/Chalet. We'll be back!

I am not a fan of the Euro. It seems to have robbed every country of its uniqueness with their own currency. But, even more so, it has been, at least in part, one of the reasons for the huge increase in prices. We understand that we traveled during high season. However, that alone does not account for the disparity in price increases during the last 12 years. It is my most fervent hope that sanity will engulf the European Union some day and all will revert to managing their own currency.

We choose the Alpenvilla since it offers beautifully designed big rooms and no crowds. The accommodation was top, but it is rather a house with a key. You can reach restaurants or anything by car - this is the price for the beautiful panorama from your balcon. The hosts are very nice and helpful.

应该是家庭别墅改造的酒店，很舒服，很干净，风景很好，每个角落都有可爱的设计心思，整个设计很让人舒服，- 感觉比很多四五星级的酒店还好。而且女主人和老爷爷都好可爱，各种周到和服务。下次还想住这里。真的很好。-

Wunderbares Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Berchtesgaden. Traumhaft ausgestattetes, riesiges Zimmer mit Dampfbad und Whirlpool laden zum Relaxen ein. Leckeres umfangreiches Frühstück (das à la Minute gebrachte Rührei mit Waldpilzen und frischen Kräutern war fantastisch) und gute Tipps der Gastgeber zu möglichen Ausflugszielen bieten einen guten Start in den Tag. Auf dem großen Balkon lässt sich dann jeder Abend mit einem wunderschönen Alpenpanorama ausklingen. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf ein Wiedersehen.

Das zuvorkommende Personal hat uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gestaltet. Die großen Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und luxuriös einge-richtet. Wir haben uns rundrum wohlgefühlt.

- Tolle Wellnessdusche mit Dampffunktion - Möglichkeit zur kostenlosen Kaffee und Tee Zubereitung auf dem Zimmer. - Sehr großzügige Zimmer mit Gepäckraum und separatem Wohnraum. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. - Sehr ruhige Lage. Da kann man auch bei geöffnetem Fenster gut schlafen ohne Lärm. - Toller Blick auf die Berge sowohl vom Zimmer als auch vom Frühstücksraum aus. - Berücksichtigung individueller Wünsche beim leckeren Frühstück (z.B. frisch zubereitetes Rührei). Zudem kann man auch noch später frühstücken bis 11.30 Uhr--> Klasse für Langschläfer. - Individuelle Tipps für Ausflüge und Einkehrmöglichkeiten durch die sehr freundlichen und zugewandten Betreiber.

Einzigartiges, kleines Hotel an sehr guter Lage. Geeignet für Hotelgäste die Komfort in privater Atmosphäre suchen Sehr komfortable, grosse und helle Zimmer mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung und Ausstattung Grosszügige Nasszelle mit Dampf- und Sprudelbad. Top-Location, mit ausgezeichnetem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis; sehr zu empfehlen!

An diesem Haus gibt es nichts auszusetzen!

Neben dem ausgesprochen freundlichen Service und den großzügigen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Suiten (inkl. Wellness-Dusche) ist das erstklassige und liebevoll präsentierte Frühstück besonders erwähnenswert. Von den Zimmern und der großen Frühstücksterrasse bietet sich ein fantastischer Blick auf die Berge. Hier wird man rundherum verwöhnt.

Gefallen hat mir das sehr große, freundlich und hell eingerichtete Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das tolle Badezimmer mit eigenem Dampfbad und Whirlpool-Badewanne. Das Zimmer war riesig groß, stilvoll einmgerichtet und 1 a sauber. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Hotelbetreiber / Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und standen stets mit guten Tips zur Seite. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt.

Keine Kritik - aber etwas schade fand ich, daß das Hotel (wahrscheinlich aus nachvollziehbaren wirtschaftlichen Aspekten) nur zum Frühstück bewirtschaftet wird. Es gab keine Abendküche und keine Bar, daher mußte man stets zum Abendessen mit dem Auto irgendwo hin fahren, zumeist ins nahegelegene Berchtesgaden. Und dieser Ort ist eine Touristenfalle, zumindest, wenn man sich dort nicht gut auskennt.

It's very nice hotel , clean , quiet, very nice view of the Alps, good location for walking , but the best thing is that it's family owned and they are lovely and charming people.

Die Alpenvilla liegt fantastisch, so dass man einen beeindruckenden Blick auf die Berge hat. Besonders morgens beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse kann man die Seele baumeln lassen, dafür sorgen auch die liebenswerten und kompetenten Gastgeber, für die ihre Gäste im Mittelpunkt stehen. Die Suite, die wir bewohnten, war traumhaft; neben dem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohn- und Schlafzimmer gab es ein Bad mit Whirlpool und eine Dusche, die auch eine Dampfsauna sein konnte. Wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Ruhe bei gleichzeitiger Nähe zur Stadt Berchtesgaden sowie ansprechende Ausflugstips der Hotelbesitzer. Alles in diesem Hotel verlief stets zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit.

Eine entsprechende Reflexion wurde von den Hotelbesitzern persönlich erbeten - wir konnten diesbezüglich nur Dank sagen für einen erholsamen Urlaub mit jedem erdenklichen Komfort!

Het hotel is gelegen op een super lokatie,met een geweldig uitzicht. De bediening is heel vriendelijk en geeft tips over de te bezoeken lokaties. Onbijten was genieten iedere morgen met ruime keuze. Stoomcabine en bubbelbad werken ontspannend na een goede wandeling in de bergen. De aparte kamer met tv en muziek geven niet het beeld van een hotelkamer. Een hotel zoals je het graag wil hebben. Heel gastvrij,schoon en netjes op een top lokatie zelfs de minibar is betaalbaar. Gewoon top.

Alles: de ligging; het grandioze uitzicht vanaf de ruime balcons; de ruime en comfortabel ingerichte kamers; de luxe badkamer; de hartelijke ontvangst; het verzorgde ontbijt, kortom; een ideale verblijfplaats; restaurants vindt men in de directe omgeving

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch das Eigentümer-Ehepaar; wunderschöne, neue und sehr geräumige Suite(n) mit Tee-/Kaffee-Ecke, sehr moderate Minibarpreise, hochwertige Dampfsauna-Dusche plus Whirlbadewanne im Badezimmer, herrlicher Aus-/Bergblick vom großen Balkon, absolute Ruhe und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ausgesprochen geschmackvolles Ambiente, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a wonderful stay at Alpenvilla Berchtesgaden. The room is spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom is top of the line. The location is quiet and in the countryside, yet convenient to walk to town via a nice pedestrian path. The views and breakfast are also outstanding. We loved our stay and would return.
