Great location, mountain views,

Loved the big breakfasts and the view from the room of the Alps.

No free wi-fi, which means I would not stay there again. Also , rooms are a bit tired and need updating.

Breakfasts were superb, ease of parking also good, location and convenience to restaurants

Furniture was a bit outdated but OK

When we booked the hotel we clearly indicated we were a family of four and we booked a "family room." Then, at checkout, the hotel tried to charge us for our children, which would have doubled the cost!! We fought back and finally agreed to pay for breakfast for each child for each day. This is a "bait-and-switch" tactic. When we booked the room the Booking.com site clearly indicated one price. Then when we checked out (not at check-in, either) the hotel cited the fine print which said there would be an extra, very costly charge for the kids. Booking.com should NOT show and book prices which are not all-inclusive. Be forewarned!! One final comment. Our kids slept on a pull-out couch, which they shared. For this the hotel wanted to double the cost!! We will not use Booking.com again.

Very disappointed with the room - possibly the smallest I've ever stayed in although we booked a 'superior' room. If this was superior, what is standard? We were clearly unlucky (not all rooms are this small) but this spoiled our experience.

Great Location, short walk to the town centre and the ski areas.

Rooms are a little dated. I bought bottled water from the resturant/bar/lobby each night to bring to my room and I only found out on check out that they charged me twice as much as the bottled water in the minibar. They would not modify their charge.

Staff were rude, other guests received preferential treatment. No space in the restaurant, which was fully booked for the duration of our stay. Room was cold when we arrived.

Close to all facilities

Unable to sit down for a cup of coffee in the afternoon as tables are set for dinner and not one left for a drink only on the bar bed not at all comfertable my wife had a stiff neck from the first night even with extra pillow

The room was large although it looked very old. Breakfasts were good. They have a large kids corner inside of the hotel in a gallery between the two buildings, nice and safe. The room had a balcony - unfortunately, with no mountainview (although it's hard to find a place in Garmisch where you do not see the mountains). It was one of 2 or 3 hotels/apartments/Zimmerfrei we were able to book immediately during the Christmas time once we decided to stay longer. Did it work? Yes! Did we enjoy it? Mmm...not really.

It is so old! Furniture in the room remained me on the old furniture sold in Russia during the Soviet times. Just wooden boxes. The room seemed so dark and old that I felt like I would find a spider somewhere in the corner immediately once I look there. The in-room facilities need to be totally renovated. We had a small kitchenette - still, the tap was broken and the cooking facility..never could find how to switch it on. It was placed over the refridgerator, should the warmth coming from refrigerator have warmed our meals? Why would I need kitchen without all the dishes, glasses and so on? Just waisted space. Not enough parking lots. You're lucky if you get one. In the meantime, the space in front of the hotel is taken by...plants in pots. Nice but useless in terms of hotel facilities. There is no mountain view: you just see the backyard with old buildings. Overpriced for what we got compared to what we can get in Garmisch.

Staff and hotel lovely and skiing good. Only 1 hour 15 from the airport in a taxi which is a plus.

Town to spread out for a ski resort in my opinion. Never taken a cab before in a resort to get to a pub!

Breakfast every morning was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the place, I would stay there again. Close to everything.

After staying at several B&B's for budgetary purposes on our European trip, my wife and I reveled in one night of what to us was "luxury" and we were not dissappointed. That said we believe the hotel is not over priced and represented real value for money.

Everyone was friendly and helpful English is not spoken as much in the country as in the cities but we got our point across. The food was excellent. We ate dinner in the dinning room and enjoyed our meals. The hotel is very convenient to town and a lot of the activities in the area. We had a room with a view of the mountains which we requested.

The location was great, very near the pedestrian zone. Breakfast was very good. Most rooms had balconies.

Because smoking is permitted on the balconies, other peoples smoke was constantly coming through our open windows.

The location is perfect and the breakfast was excellent.
