An absolutely central location within two minutes on foot of the cathedral on one side and the river on the other. Pleasant, clean rooms, very satisfactory bathroom, good buffet-style breakfast, helpful reception. Though its central location is a plus, it proved much the noisiest hotel that we encountered in a fortnight travelling in Germany. Loud drinkers (not, it should be said, ill-behaved) shouted until the not so early hours.

The location was great! The parking on site was excellent. The hotel was very close to the Dom and the Resident. Staff could have been a little more freindly a smile would have been nice. There was no facial tissue in the room.

zentrale Lage, Sauberkeit im Hotel Es ist unmöglich nach 22.00 Uhr einzuschlafen. Bis ca. 3.00 Uhr ziehen lauthals lärmende Horden durch die Straßen am Hotel, an Schlaf ist da nicht zu denken.

La posizione (praticamente al centro del centro storico di Bamberg) a due passi dalla cattedrale e dalla più famosa birreria della città, Schenkerla, che è anche una delle più conosciute della Germania per l'eccezionale birra affumicata.

Das Hotel liegt supergünstig mitten in der Stadt. Wir konnten von da aus prima unsere Tochter, die in Bamberg studiert, besuchen und umgekehrt. Wir brauchten kein Auto, Tiefgarage für höchstens 12 Euro/Tag in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Sehr nettes flexibles Personal. Das alte traditionelle schöne Haus mitten in der Altstadt. Es wäre schön, wenn Fahrräder "bequemer" und besser erreichbar untergebracht werden könnten.

Die Lage, gleich gegenüber vom "schlenkerla" Zimmer links an der Wand verschmutzt, Betten durchgelegen, Schrank an der Tür defekt, Frühstück eher Standard, inDJHs teilweise besser!

Uns hat die Lage sehr gut gefallen, das Frühstück war sehr gut. Leider hat es keine Lärmschutz-Fenster, dadurch war es zumindest in unserem Zimmer, das zu Straße ging nachts sehr laut (auch bei geschlossenem Fenster)

Gut war an dem Hotel ausschließlich die Lage. Zudem gab es einen Biergarten, der allerdings nur von sehr wenig Gästen besucht war. Bei den umliegenden Lokalen waren hingegen sämtliche Plätze besetzt. Wir haben uns daher auch für ein anderes Lokal entschieden. Die Möbel waren zusammengewürfelt und alt. Insgesamt war das Zimmer stark renovierungsbedürftig: die Tapete war beschädigt, eine Wand war sehr laienhaft mit Holz verkleidet. Das Wasser in der Dusche war nur lauwarm und zum Duschen oder Baden nicht geeignet. Auf dem Boden des Bades hatte jemand eine Fliese auf dem Boden auffällig mit roter Kreide gekennzeichnet, wohl um das Putzverhalten zu überprüfen. Die Fliese war immer noch rot als wir das Zimmer übernommen haben - also offensichtlich gar nicht geputzt. Das Frühstück war mittelmäßig (Käse und Wurst aus der Industrieverpackung). Der hohe Zimmerpreis war aus unserer Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt.
