The location was excellent just a two minute walk from the main markets and shops of Dusseldorf, and an enormous selection of restaurants and bars on the door step. The staff were very friendly and very pleasant with the children. The continental breakfast was a good selection of meats and cheese. The hotel is in a busy part of Dusseldorf but with the windows closed you could hardly hear any outside noise and we had three excellent nights sleep. We booked the quadruple room, for two adults and two children but due to the room being an attic room up three flights of stairs (no lifts) then an old spiral stair case with no rails, and tiny difficult to manage steps (for a fit 30yr old adult) then in the room the entrance was just an open hole in the floor it was just too dangerous and we couldn't stay there, although the room it self when you got up there was huge and would have been ideal. The hotel quickly swapped us to two double rooms, although not ideal the hotel did their best to rectify the problem. |

The proximity of the hotel to the Old Town was wonderful. It also had a very relaxed atmosphere and the included breakfast was fabulous. We had booked the room under the impression that it was self-contained (i.e. included a kitchenette of some sort) As it turned out it didnt however this didnt bother us overmuch - it looked as though the room was in the process of change, so perhaps it had been at the time of booking. We did get a twin room rather than the double we had ordered, and one of the beds was in need of a new mattress. |

Good breakfast and centrality to train system. In one room, the sheets were stained and it was very noisy as the walls were paper thin (you hear everything!). In the second room, there were spiders, holes in the walls, electrical wiring (uncapped) hanging from the ceiling and wall). |

The receptionist was extremely friendly and breakfast was nice. The room was very clean. The location was perfect. Metro station around the corner and short walk to department store, Königsallee shopping street + quick food places near like Subway! The surroundin old city area is nice on day time but on weekends, particularly saturday nights, it's the party zone of Düsseldorf. I had room facing the inner yard, which was really ok, but still could hear the music and yelling. So for solo businesstraveller maybe not the greatest place. |

really good stuff (Zaida is the best ever!!) in a really humble hotel just in the city centre which is loud always and overcrowded on the weekends. Close to all the shops in altstadt - shadowstrasse is just 5 mins walking, Koe is 7 mins walking - so great shopping!! close to the bars - great for going out!! better furniture (the bed was soooo noisy!! actually it was not quite a room for a couple), air conditioning may be, actually the hotel needs a renovation |

Great location, very central to the Altstadt. The staff were very friendly to deal with, and the breakfast was very good We stayed in a room on the front of the hotel. The main street was very noisy late into the night during the weekend. This did not bother us as we are heavy sleepers, but Im sure it would bother some people. My friends stayed in the rear of the hotel which was silent. |

Very nice and clean apartment, great location in Altstadt. 100 meters from the main AltDusseldorf hotel and it was very good because the street was silent instead of bar noises. Friendly and very helpful staff and a great breakfast. We would book this again. There was no frigde, micro or owen althought it was an apartement room. |

Size of room. The apartment could quite happily sleep 4. It was slightly away from the AltStadt and was very quiet. I booked an apartment specficially for the fridge and cooking hob. Neither of these worked and nor were they fixed even after I mentioned the issue. |
