“ We arrived at this Hotel for 2 days only to find the owner, Boda, had upgraded our room. It was lovely - a separate tv/desk and lounge area. It was opposite the Netto Discount store and we were able to park in that area. We had a great 2 nights here. Ray wanted to see all the old Roman ruins in this old city and simply everything was in walking distance from the Garni Hotel Alte Villa. ”

Very forthcoming staff, homelike atmosphere, quite and comfortable. Just behind the corner of Trier Sud bahnhof, 10 minutes walk to the center of city with Roman ruins, gardens and great restaurants.

The area is a little rough, but the hotel was very easy to find and there is some on street parking because their parking lot is very small. The breakfast room and buffet were very nice. Just a few things like a light bulb (after two days) was not replaced in a dark hall and the WiFi is a bit flaky. At check-out there were three of us that hadn't been able to get on the WiFi that first night. My husband finally got on, but it was up and down most of the evening.

The buffet breakfast was good. Our room was quiet apart from the sound of freight trains which could be heard passing over a bridge about 100m from the hotel. The bathroom was good. It was further from the city centre than we had imagined. We were travelling by car and parking was very limited. We are aware that we are in a monority here but we are not lovers of Asian food. Most of the eating places in the vicinity of the hotel seemed to be Thai, Vietnamese, Indian or Turkish. However, we found some places in the city where we were able to order what we considered to be excellent German dishes.

pleasant older building, large room, easy parking Staff welcoming, but the smell of 'Tom Cat' was not. The room was large and airy, but the shutters appeared to have been removed long ago... & this meant much intrusion of light and a lot of noise from the small park opposite.

We arrived at this Hotel for 2 days only to find the owner, Boda, had upgraded our room. It was lovely - a separate tv/desk and lounge area. It was opposite the Netto Discount store and we were able to park in that area. We had a great 2 nights here. Ray wanted to see all the old Roman ruins in this old city and simply everything was in walking distance from the Garni Hotel Alte Villa. We have never seen so many people in one city at the same time. We realise Christ's clothes were on display, but it was unbelievable and loads of atmosphere. Boda and his staff were exceptionally pleasant, had 2 great breakfasts and went to Boda's other hotel run by his daughter for dinner. What a wonderful experience and Ray still declares it was his best meal by far on our journey around for 5 weeks, and believe me, we had loads. Would definitely recommend this lovely Hotel. Für einen Kurztrip nach Trier ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. Die Entfernung zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten ist zu Fuß gut zu bewältigen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Personal ist freundlich, die Zimmer waren sauber. Der Preis ist für die gebotene Leistung gerade so akzeptabel. Kaum hoteleigene Parkplätze

Freundlches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstück, sauberes Zimmer, gute Lage zur Innenstadt (ca. 5 Min. mit Fahrrad) und Mosel, kostenlose Parkplätze, in der Nähe Restaurants und Cafes. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen.

Gutes umfangreiches Frühstück. Das Zi. 44 hat keine Möglichkeit vernüftig abgedunkelt zu werden. Am Zimmerfenster befand sich direkt ein Bewegungsmelder mit 300 Watt. Super hell erleuchtet.

Ausschlaggebend für uns war die Lage.Ca. 10 Minuten zur Innenstadt,Zimmer sauber,Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit,Frühstück reichhaltig für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei,ein rundum zufriedener Aufenthalt,den wir sicherlich noch einmal wiederholen werden.

Das Hotel Alte Villa überzeugt von der alten Bauweise und man fühlt sich direkt sehr wohl. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr einladend und hat mich sehr überzeugt. Das Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer ist mit Fön, Handseife sowie Badelotion ausgestattet, dass man nicht überall findet. Fazit: TOP !!! Es war alles in Ordnung! Keinen Grund für eine Beanstandung gefunden!

De ligging was goed, goed te lopen naar het centrum, gratis parkeren vlak bij. Geen geluidsoverlast van verkeer of andere kamers.

Sfeer, uitgebreid ontbijt; mooie grote kamer; vriendelijke service. Voor wie niet te ver wil lopen: restaurant tegenover het hotel is aan te bevelen! Verder in de buurt alleen Aziatische keuken. Douche erg krap, er was gratis parkeerruimte maar wat beperkt en een beetje lastig manoeuvreren.. Flink stuk lopen naar het centrum, wel te doen. Bushalte is echter vlakbij. Piepkleine tv met wisselende kwaliteit ontvangst.

Prima hotel, zeer gezellig, op wandelafstand van het historische centrum van Trier. Uitstekend ontbijt en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Toen wij aankwamen was er niemand aanwezig aan de receptie, maar dit werd perfect opgelost met een kluisje waarin zich de sleutel bevond. Prima bedden. Wifi werkt uitstekend. Een echte aanrader voor wie houdt van een gezellig en kleinschalig hotel.

Die relative Nähe zum Zentrum. Die äußere Erscheinung des Hauses. Die Sauberkeit der Duschtüranlage war speziell im unteren Bereich verbesserungswürdig. Die Deckenlampe und die Leselampen am Bett ließen sich nur alle gleichzeitig zusammen ein- und ausschalten. Die Zimmervorhänge ließen sich - wegen der Reparaturbedürftigkeit des Seilzugsystems nicht ganz schließen.
