I like everything about this hotel. After traveling through Germany for 4 weeks and staying in different cities at similiarly priced hotesl, I can honestly say that Hotel zur alten Stadtmauer was the best experience of my trip. The breakfasts were wonderful, the rooms were clean, bright and cheerful, the service was very friendly and more than helpful, the location of the hotel was just perfect! no, some people may want an eleveator or lift--that did not bother me in the least. |

Hotel situated inside the old city within ten minutes walk of the centre, twenty minutes walk from the railway station and 100 yards from the airport bus-stop. The breakfasts provided were of a remarkably high standard, worth at least five stars. If you are lucky enough to get a front bedroom on the top floor, the views are stunning. The staff were particularly helpful. |

The friendliness of the staff, the wide choice at breakfast. You could hear noise from stairs and other rooms, but this is probably unavoidable in such a building. |

The room was very good and it had a nice character. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The location was very good, quiet but close to the centre. The possibility to reserve a parking place near by was valuable for us. |

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, zentrale aber ruhige Lage, Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet und mit schönem Ausblick, gutes Frühstücksbuffet, hoteleigener Parkplatz Leider kein Lift vorhanden (wohl aus Platzmangel), daher etwas schwierig mit Koffer in den 4. Stock zu gelangen |
