Very clinical ....minimalist but friendly staff and excellent location for shops and short walk to canal and lake(s) Hairdyer quite impractical ...connected in bathroom and no where to sit. (Business man's hotel!!?) Lighting very dim ...romantic but at times not practical when needed!! |

Wonderful, everything great about the hotel, clean, people very nice, and the hotel is wonderful, very well placed in the center of the old city, next to everything usefull, metro, shoppings, restaurants, tourist We can just say that the bar of the hotel is a bit under the expectations! |

We really enjoy our stay at the hotel. it is beautiful designed and located in a beautiful area of the city, very close to all the main streets. The room was with a nice view to the Alster Canal and very convinient. I thought that the Bad was too soft (thus not very comfortable). I hope they will change it until the next time I will be in Hamburg - as I am planning to return to this Hotel. |

Location is excellent for exploring city and near to Alster Lake. Restaurant top class and good breakfast buffet. Ambience in hotel is nice and room very comfortable. Nice terrace over Alter canal to take snacks and drinks. |

The room is modern and the bed is very comfortable The hotel was great when it comes to the design, however after staying in the room and being surrounded by enormous spiders i changed my mind and i would never go to hamburg again! spider webs are everywhere and i was nervous throughout my trip! |

The staff is very child friendly, the room is spacious and the location is as central as it can get in Hamburg The design is sometimes over the top (washing your hands in the design wash basin becomes a messy affair). The airconditioning is very present and there is no separate heating. |

This hotel is modern and stylish, excellent food,nice SPA-center, comfortable bed, very interesting design of bathroom and excellent location! Very pricy parking - 24 euro per day! |

The room and the bath were very comfortable, the dinner was excellent and we really enjoyed the view from our room. The hotel is right in the down town so we were able to go shopping and visit the city without even taking a taxi. Concerning the room service, it was a bit long when we ordered our supper. |

good location, close to downtown, nice big rooms, they were very friendly with our 2,5 years daughter (small presents, child bathrobe, etc.) Spa Seagull was closed for longer period than the staff have communicated before and there is not much place there, so if there are more than 15 people staying in the wellness area, there is no further sunbeds and chairs for others. |

it was easy dealing with the staff they were so friendly , the area was very calm the food , the room service and the resuturant it self not much of choice and the quality of food not that good compare to the pricese which were high . one more thing i dont rate this hotel as 5 start to be honest with u its may be 4 , its too dull , lighting wise and decoration wise , too plane , i think they have to cheange the decoration to give the hotel some life.other wise all was just fine |

The central placement of the hotel in Hamburg The beds are bad and need to be replaced. The breakfast at the same price as a good steak in other restaurants is far too much! Even though it was good and plentiful |
